Came into town as a last minute trip for a funeral. There was plenty of space for all 6 adults and my 1.5 yr old. The kitchen is huge and the beds were comfy. The backyard gave my son a safe place to play. The downstairs was spacious and perfect for my adult children to hang out and stay up late. Only downside is that it's off of a major road with lots of traffic. The shrubbery by the road made it difficult to see well to pull out into the road. Other than that, we'd honestly stay there again if we needed to be back in the area.
The house is very roomy. Everything was clean. It is on a bit of a busy road, but the information was in the listing and it didnât bother us at all. It was extremely well located for us. The host was very responsive.
We had a nice time visiting Pigeon Forge. We were only at the house for a minimum amount of time. The host was very commutative and seemed to be very available. The only complaint we had was that the house is very close to a busy road. It would be very helpful if the house numbers were on the mailbox, as coming in in the dark it was a little more complicated to find. We did not cook at the house but it appeared to be well stocked ,Thank you so much. allowstay.staystay.lcome.the coffee machine worked great.
Large, spacious and cleanâŠperfect for a place if you need to just sleep and enjoy your Knoxville excursions. The house did have a faint smell of cigarette smoke when you first walk in but everything felt clean and tidy. We had two families of four staying and we had plenty of space for all (the upstairs couch was especially comfortable after a long day). The day of check in we did find out the upstairs doors were temporarily removed but curtains were provided for privacy. The kitchen was the most dated area with minimal utensils and cup selection for 8 (bring your own wine opener). But while it may not be the most modern rental, it was exactly what we needed for 5 days of busy Knoxville exploring.
We traveled with our children, siblings and Aunts to this vacation home and it was bigger than expected . Very clean and nice open floor plan for lots of family time and cooking . 3 spacious bedrooms on the first floor with two bathrooms( one full bath ) and the downstairs was great ! Two full bedrooms , a living room and a full bath with outdoor access to a beautiful fenced in yard and bonfire . This was great for our little ones and have enough space for all the family to have some quiet time . The owner was so helpful throughout the entire process and the location is right near town and about 30 minutes from Dollywood . We would absolutely stay here again .
Our family and friends were more than happy and excited to stay here. From the moment you walk inside you feel at home, I love all the positive messages throughout the home, tons of room and space! Brenda was such an amazing host, answered all our questions and was in contact months in advanced and helped us walk through reservation changes we needed, we would definitely stay here again.
Brenda was a very friendly and attentive host. The house was very neat and comfortable with so many amenities provided (even hair dryers, full kitchen, and board games).
Itâs the perfect distance between Knoxville proper and Piegeon Forge and there are many grocery, food, and gas station options around the area.
Brenda also provided recommendations for local businesses and activities which was so helpful. We highly recommend booking with her she helped make our stay perfect!
Very spacious and cozy! Large, functional and very stocked kitchen! Only thing that worried me was the busy road out front. A lot of traffic all times of the day. But, with the fenced in back yard it wasnât a huge deal! Iâd definitely rent again!
The house is very close to all the things we wanted to do. Dixie Stampede, Lumberjack Feud, Pirates Voyage, Anakeesta, Parrot Mountain and so much more. The house was big enough to allow the 5 adults, three kids and two dogs plenty of space. The house has a âSunshineâ theme and the decor is really cute. There is a fenced back yard but due to the busy street the host requests you keep them on a leash. I always travel with my fur babies and I donât crate them, they are both older boys and very well behaved but the host requests they be crated when in the house alone. If youâre looking for a home close enough to all things Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg this is the place for you. Thanks again Brenda!
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
Extremely loud
Brenda is very nice and extremely easy to work with. She communicates very well.
The house is located on a main highway which is not represented in the listing. My family and I thought we were staying with our 3 year old in a house that had a Mountain View instead we were awake every night, all hours of the night listening to cars speeding by the house. It was like a racetrack outside the house.
It also advertised a fenced in backyard however we could not let our puppy run and be out there because of all the holes in the yard and fence. The backyard had drink bottles all over it that we had to clean up.
The carport was covered in broken glass that I had to clean up before I let my 3 year old out to play or walk around.
The walls by the sofa were dirty and appeared to have snot wiped on them with green stuff. The room that has the half bath in it had hair on the door where it was not wiped off. Unfortunately, we did not see this until later in our stay.
Iâm also a little worried that the bedding is not fully cleaned as we were instructed to take off the sheets but all blankets stayed with the bed.
I think the listing needs to be more honest about the location as it was not a family friendly location.
This is a wonderful house in a very quiet neighborhood. The road is quite busy but not even noticeable inside the home or in the back yard. Highly recommend
The house was clean and well-maintained. Lots of nice bedrooms with king sized beds and plenty of room for our whole family to spread out. We had a great time. The road was a busy one, so I suggest watching children and pets very closely but there was a fenced-in backyard. The WiFi never worked for us, but other than that, everything was fabulous!
We were visiting the Knoxville area for a long weekend and enjoyed this property very much. Super appreciated the fact the the host had the property well stocked with essentials (bathing supplies, coffee, paper goods, etc...) suitable for a long weekend. It's location is excellent making it a 30 minute or less drive to most of the attractions and areas nearby. Clean and charming home.
Overall the house was great. It was very spacious although the bathrooms are really small. It could use an ice maker or more ice trays in the freezer. My main complaint was the musty odor in the basement area. I'm glad I stayed upstairs, not sure I could have stayed downstairs. Communication with Brenda was very good. She answered my questions quickly.
I have lived in Sevier County, Tennessee all of my life. I am aware of how special a place Sevier County is. We have so many great experiences to offer a traveler! It makes me happy to be able to provide a place for friends and family to come together and enjoy the area as much as I do!!
Bluff Mountain Sunshine is open, clean, spacious, and bright! Guests will feel right at home. Guests will be able to come together in the common areas of the house to enjoy each others company. Guests can also find peace in their separate corners of the house as it is so spacious! There is a nice, big, fenced backyard for children and fur babies to run around!
You cannot beat the location of this property. It is 20 minutes from downtown Knoxville and 35 minutes from Pigeon Forge. There are coffee shops, donut shops, grocery stores etc within a few minutes drive. And if you get a little overwhelmed with the crowds and traffic of Pigeon Forge, Bluff Mountain Sunshine offers a chance to escape the hustle and bustle and relax for the evenings.
