Adorable 1 bedroom apartment in heart of Allentown

Steps away from Allen Street in the heart of Allentown, with a very short walk to many shops, cafés, bars & restaurants. Apartment offers everything you would need for a weekend getaway or business trip.

Main Room: Combination living/dining room with a 4-person table, couch, 43in Smart TV and a desk. There is a Mitsubishi split unit for AC.

Kitchen: Full kitchen including small gas stove/oven, small refrigerator and microwave. A coffee maker and toaster are also available. A few pots and pans and cooking utensils are available, but not suitable for cooking large meals. May be used for light cooking only. Cups, plates, cutlery, and wine glasses/wine opener are also available.

Bedroom: Bedroom has a comfortable full size mattress. Extra pillows and a comforter are in the bedroom closet, as well as a portable AC unit and fan.

Bathroom: Original clawfoot tub/shower with all necessities: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and towels and washcloths.

Workspace: Work desk with office chair located in the main room.

Backyard: VRBO guests can use the backyard and gas grill, but it is shared with the other unit. There can be no loud noise/music outside at any time.

Guests can access the space through the side walkway to the rear of the house. Apartment is located up the flight of stairs. There are about 15 steps leading up to the door and an additional 4 inside. There are exterior cameras, but no interior cameras.

On street parking, no permit required. Be sure to adhere to parking signs. The parking is first come first serve and is available either on the street where the home is located, or the surrounding streets.

Neighborhood: Located in the heart of Allentown and a quick drive from Downtown/Medical Corridor, Key Bank Center, Larkinville, Canalside, Elmwood Avenue, Burchfield Penney Art Gallery and Albright Knox Art Gallery! New Era Field and Niagara Falls are a 25 minute drive or less. Steps away from Allen Street and a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, museums, schools and more! Walkable restaurants include Allen Burger Venture, Casa Azul, Gabriel's Gate, Colter Bay, Falley Allen, Allentown Pizza, Towne Restaurant, Mother's and more!

Great place, great location

I booked this apartment for my daughter and friends. It was a cute 1 bedroom and there was enough room for three to sleep. The location was prime for easy walking access to Allentown and Elmwood. Check in was a breeze and the property manager was extremely responsive. I would definitely book again.

Visiting the Naval Yard and Museum and wanted a charming place to stay !

We loved your location in Allentown and had a fabulous dinner at Kuni’s recommended in your binder ! All was perfect - only little recommendations: a mirror in bedroom, a nightstand with small lamp in bedroom and a small luggage rack in bedroom would make your charming home perfect 👍 Thank you 🙏

Great location in Allentown!

The best thing about this apartment was the location in Allentown to walk to many places, and the street itself was gorgeous - filled with older, stately homes and beautiful gardens. We enjoyed that convenience. Street parking was annoying after a Bills game to find a spot. We found that the place is a little more rundown than it looks in photos and had a lot of minor things going wrong. Upon arrival the smell of the plug-ins was almost sickening. The place was closed up and it's small, so 2 of those on high were awful. The tub had a rust ring, only one window had a screen and it was tough to open. The stairs to the front door were steep and leaned and felt a little more sketchy every time we went up. They are rebuilding a deck/stairs so maybe the owner will finish up to the door. The toilet seat was awful. Plastic and every time either of us sat, we'd pinch ourselves on our thighs and hang off the side. The walkway to the back of the house wasn't lit and is uneven path so that was tough without my cel phone light. And I wish there were more blankets. Just a sheet and 2 light blankets provided. All in all it suited us for a short 2 night stay, but being nitpicky, it could have been better. The owner was really responsive, and the location was prime, but it just left us feeling like there were a few corners cut.

Good with a few exceptions...

This apartment is beautiful. The bed is very comfortable. It is very clean and looks just like the pictures. The owners were communicative and tried to be as helpful as possible. However, future guests should know that street parking near the apartment is difficult at best. All three nights I had to park about a block away and walk. The neighborhood seems safe, but this is not ideal for hauling luggage, especially if you travel alone. Also, the air unit is in the main room. The oscillating fan in the bedroom was not working so it was very difficult to get to sleep the first night until the apartment cooled down. The plug in the bathroom doesn't work either so you'll want to bring a mirror for the small desk in the living room to do your hair. These aren't reasons not to stay here provided you are prepared to deal with them, but I wish I had known before I arrived what I was getting into. I hope this review makes your stay more comfortable.

The location is perfect for getting to know the heart of Buffalo! We went to canal side and a Bison’s game! So much fun! Relaxing, clean, and quiet rental was perfect!
