Experience island living at it's BEST! This wonderful contemporary cottage is located just steps from the amazing Rosario Resort & Spa and the Rosario Marina. Sit on the elevated deck and sip your morning coffee while watching the boats come in and out of the harbor. Watch the sea planes fly in and out. It's a short walk to the Rosario mansion for dinner and cocktails. Head back to the house to enjoy a soak in your own private spa and enjoy the sunset. Hiking, boating, dining or simply relaxing and taking in the views--Erehwon Bayside is your spot!

This well-built bungalow-style cottage overlooks Cascade Bay, offer a light, bright retreat from which to view the marina and gaze down the sound. The living quarters are on the upper level, featuring high-end wood floors throughout, a well-stocked full kitchen, spacious living area, and master bedroom with king-size bed. Your hosts have attempted to stock the kitchen with whatever you need to eat-in if desired, and take advantage of the incredible covered deck overlooking the bay. Or take advantage of the plumbed-in Weber grill on the deck.

Underneath the deck, also looking over the bay is a small Hotspring Spa that is available to guests.

The home is outfitted with high speed internet, Smart Roku TVs (just plug in the streaming service of your choice), including a 55" high definition TV upstairs and a 65" big screen TV downstairs.

The lower level of the home is a finished/converted garage. It is carpeted, offers a queen-sized bed, couch and big screen 65" TV. There is also another 4-person dining table, full bathroom with shower, and a full-sized refrigerator for extra food/beverage storage. Please note: The downstairs is NOT heated. In the summer, this is rarely an issue, and it could theoretically be used in the winter as well, since it is always warmer than outside, but if you are renting in a cooler season, or have any questions about using the downstairs area, please contact us! It's a great extra space to utilize, but it can get a little chilly in the winter.

Erehwon Bayside is located about 30 minutes from the Orcas ferry landing and about 15 minutes from the village of Eastsound.

I can’t say enough about what an absolutely lovely place this is. The view is amazing! The home is incredibly comfortable and very well taken care of. I frequently am disappointed by the “hand me down” quality of a lot of vacation rental places. This is not one of them! All the furnishings were of great quality and in pristine condition. The kitchen supplied everything we needed. The view of the bay from the hot tub was so soothing and wonderful! Location wise you couldn’t ask for better. If you are looking at more than one place, pick this one! You will love it.

Excellent orcas homebase for families

Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights and had a great stay. The property was clean and we enjoyed the view of the busy marina. The home also has view of a large lawn with many lawn games (shuffleboard, volleyball, croquet, etc). This was a 5-star stay for us but here are a few minor details we are not aware of: the full-size fridge is downstairs while upstairs has the kitchen and the hotel-size fridge, the Rosario mansion/restaurant/spa/indoor pool was completely closed, and we found the upstairs master bed and pillows to be very firm. But overall we had a great stay and loved the proximity to Moran state park.

Orcas Island ~ Bayside Cottage

The Bayside Cottage is lovely. It is well furnished and immaculate. We very much enjoyed our stay and being near beautiful Moran State Park and the nearby town of Eastsound. Jared is a very responsive host.

Bayside at Rosario - location and quality!

Very convenient walk to the Marina and Moran mansion/restaurant and spa. The view is lovely. The host provided very thoughtful luxury details to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Perfect location!

We will definitely stay here again. It was the perfect location for us having family in the marina and in the condos. Plenty of space for us, beautiful view and fully stocked with anything you needed.

Great spot; great location

Stayed here for a few days on a visit to Orcas Island. Great location, place is very clean, well set up for a vacation home. The hot tub is delightful. The bathroom on the main floor is huge, and the bathtub is the biggest I've ever been in! The downstairs area is a converted garage (well done) which was perfect for our baby to sleep, but would be great for another couple or some younger kids. Only minor issue was that the electronic door lock is a little complicated - be sure to read the instructions very carefully!

Lovely location

We had a great family get-away. It's a beautiful little spot on Orcas with lovely view of the Rosario marina.. The house is very comfortable, owner easy to communicate with, and check-in and out was easy. Definitely would stay again.

Amazingly Comfortable in Pristine Surroundings

This has to be the most comfortable and well-appointed short-term rental we have ever been in. It boasts gorgeous Orcas views while having a well-equipped kitchen. We also loved the soak bathtub with jets. It was definitely worth it.

Location, location, location! It's such a nice setting being this close to Rosario Resort and the marina. You can sit on the deck and watch the boats come in and out, or walk over to the mansion for an evening cocktail. Or take a stroll through the gardens and down to the beach. It is a really special place to our family, and we think you will truly enjoy it as well.
