This house was not only clean and welcoming, it was just what I needed for my recent work trip. I honestly felt “AT HOME!” Not far from where I was working and a short drive from places to eat. I was working, but yet this house is nestled on Fox Lake where I was able to telex during my off time . Great place, great host. (thanks Jake!) If work brings me up these ways again, I will definitely try to stay here again.

Weekend stay

Overall this is a great cabin to stay, we really enjoyed ourselves. Inside was clean, however, it would have been nicer if the outside was a little more cleaned up. Still a nice place to stay.

Nice little cozy cabin!!

Good overall weekend stay. Host had great communication and the details are all listed.A lot of extras that you dont see at many rentals. Very good price for the area.

Last Minute Family Vacation

The place was perfect size for our family of 3 and was a great area with wonderful neighbors. Would definitely stay there again. Gave 3 for cleanliness only cause the floors looked like they hadn't been scrubbed for a long time, but it was a great place to book and Jake was easy to get ahold of to take care of any questions we had.

Family week

I come to this lake all the time as my parents have a home on the lake. This cute little place was perfect for myself and my sister to stay during a weeklong family vacation. It had everything we needed and just a walk across the street to our families house. Despite the unseasonable cold and rainy weather it was a relaxing peaceful stay here! I would rent again here.

Winter Cottage

Convenient location to Fox Lake and the town of Fox Lake, Beaver Dam Lake, and several good restaurants. Cozy cottage for 2-4 people. Jake was quick to respond to communications and helpful. Beds were firm and comfortable. Kitchen was well-equipped. I would stay here again!

Ice fishing weekend

We came to Fox Lake for a weekend of ice fishing. The place was perfect for what we needed. It's small but clean and comfortable. It was in a convenient location for lake access. The bar area was a nice place to sit around and talk about our days adventure, I'd definitely rent this place again next time we come for a weekend of fishing.

Served our needs well

We spent most of our time out of the cabin but for to sleep. Beds were comfortable. Water definitely has an iron taste (as is noted in the listing).

Hi Paul, thank you for your stay! Yes indeed on the water - there is a pitcher with a filter but it won't quite filter out the taste - takes some getting used to for sure. I hope you consider me once more when you're in the area again!

Weekend Away

The property was well stocked with supplies. I left a personal item behind and the owner went the extra mile to get it back to me. I really appreciated it.

Clean and reasonable

The inside of the house was very clean. The owner was very responsive to any question or issue. Everything worked properly. The outside porch and immediate area could used to be freshened up. I would stay there again!
