Our stay was wonderful!! Kathy is an amazing host!! She truly goes above and beyond!!! I was a little nervous about staying in a duplex with the owner so close because several people from my family also stayed and I didn’t want to worry about noise, and a super late arrival time, but Kathy truly could not have been more gracious or welcoming! The house was fully stocked with everything you need if you plan to cook/bake (I even made a wedding cake)! The lake is beautiful! The house is maintained well and Kathy added many little welcoming touches! Truly, she is the BEST VRBO host!!We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!

WOW!! My group had a blast at the “Lake House”. We were in Beaver Dam for a sporting event. The house location was perfect for our pre race training, plus a very short drive to our event. Our host Kathy was really nice and answered all questions concerning the property and the city of Beaver Dam. I will definitely be staying here next year!Gary DOERING

I had to sweep the floor as soon as I got there. The back patio was dirty looking with cobwebs all over. Had to learn how to use the grill because it’s a pellet grill and have never used one. It was hot in the house and the controller had a lock on it. Expired food items in the fridge. All kinds of tiny notes all over the place telling us what we can and can’t do. Owner lives in the same house that they are renting out. So felt like we had to be quiet. Door entrance smells of cat piss. It was not clean as it should be. It was overall a disappointment. I felt like I needed to clean all weekend. The ceiling fans piled with dust. Ceiling dirty. Bugs in all the ceiling lights.

The floors are dry/wet mopped within 2 hours of your arrival. Not sure why you needed to sweep. I have a cat but it stays in the house and is never anywhere near the rental unit. I live alone next door and am very quiet but I expect people who act as they normally would. I rarely hear anything from the other unit and have always expected people to behave a they normally would. The pellet grill is very easy to operate and had you asked I would have been able to come over and how to use it. %he other side of the dual grill is charcoal and both pellets and charcoal were available for your use. I also want to note that this is a rural home and webs can appear very quickly. I have to swipe them off the mailbox nearly every day. Not sure what expired food items you found in the refrigerator as all of the condiments that are left for your use are checked during each cleaning process. Regarding notes - yes there are some notes around regarding the ceiling fan chains and the upstairs plumbing. People have been known to jerk the chains off of the ceiling fans and I simply ask people to pull gently so they don't rip them.off.I have often had people come over and tell.me that the upstairs shower leaks and when I go over to verify it I can't get it to leak which indicates that the person showering did not put the shower curtain side the tub. Had you followed the guest rules that the platform suggests and called or contacted me I would have been happy to make things right.

Our stay was enjoyable and worked well for our needs. It was nice to have the watercraft available and the host was always available to answer questions.

Amazing getaway!

My family stayed for 4 days and had a great time fishing and spending quality time! Kathy was very welcoming and great to talk to. Kitchen was fully stacked, beds were comfortable, location was perfect!

Cozy Lakefront Property

Excellent home to relax and enjoy the Beaver Dam community, Horicon and the lake. Amenities abound a tht home from games to appliances and the host went out of her way to accommodate!! Certainly recommend a get away trip or even a lengthy stay if your up to fishing and enjoying the area!

Awesome stay!

We had an awesome stay at this house! The location is beautiful-so quite and relaxing. The house is exactly as described and the owner provides every possible little thing in there, it was stocked better than even our own home! The communication with the owner was also great! Five stars to the owner and to the house!

Wonderful experience

Our family all stayed at Kathy’s place to celebrate the 4th of July together. It was different than other rentals we have stayed at for we didn’t feel like renters, rather we felt like family. Kathy was extremely hospitable and made us feel extremely welcome. We were amazed at how well stocked the place was as it seemed like she had everything we could possibly need. Thank you for making our family vacation a great one!

Lots of water toys and kayaks. We really enjoyed the lake. Owner went out and bought us firewood and made sure we had everything we needed.

Nice weekend away!

Our family enjoyed fishing and spending time together here. The property had all the amenities needed for cooking and lots of indoor and outdoor games. There were only 4 of us but would it have been comfortable for a larger group as well.

Very Enjoyable

We had a really nice weekend. Kathy was more than accommodating, providing, and friendly. Beaver Dam was a lot of fun too. Friendly locals and quaint little town. :) Don't forget to check out LeRoys for your fresh Wisconsin dairy!!
