Billie’s Bunkhouse comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests(stretch to 8 with kids) with plenty of room to relax:

I was so amazed by the cabin. It felt like home. Best place we have stayed in Mountain View. The kitchen had everything you could need, crockpot, pots and pans, all the dishes. Check in was easy. The host is amazing. She responded very very quickly when we had a question. Loved everything about it.

Short getaway

Beautiful home within minutes from town. We had a wonderful time visiting, listening to music at the square, and short hikes to the springs. The host is so sweet and always communicates.

Great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed and more. We normally are in our Class C RV but the kids and grands were visiting the area to visit other family members so we decided to book Billies Bunkhouse so we would have space to host dinners and family time. It worked out great! Kitchen nicely stocked, wonderful porches for our BBQs and yard for kids to play in. Loved the porch swing for my morning coffee too! Great communication with owner prior to and durning our visit along with information on the area. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we visit area again.

Better than expected, wonderful owner!

Rented the Bunkhouse to run a race had some extreme weather hit Mt.View. The owner actually called to check on us then she called the neighbor to ask if we could get in their storm cellar to ride the storm out. All was good after the storm. We plan on staying again.

It was fantastic! Comfortable, roomy, and nicely stocked with necessary items. Clean, well maintained and in a quiet, safe area very close to downtown Mountain View. I highly recommend this place . The host could not have been more accommodating and courteous. The advertising doesn’t give Billie’s Bunk House justice.

We loved Billie’s Bunkhouse! My grandchildren were excited about the upstairs
they wanted to stay there! It’s very close to town and convenient for shopping, restaurants, etc! I would definitely recommend staying here!!

Family time

It was nice could not figure out the wifi but that was alright cuz I told my kids no phones.the upstairs tv was a disappointment only had a few channel and could not get the x-box to work properly nor could not play the DVD's but over all I enjoyed the family time

Mini vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Billie's Bunkhouse. The bed was comfortable, and the cabin is cozy. We loved how roomy the kitchen is. We enjoyed mornings on the porch. It was close to restaurants and stores, but the scenery made you feel like you were further from town. Host was quick to respond to any questions and was flexible with # of guest changes. Our dogs even approved. They enjoyed laying on the beautiful wood floors and they also enjoyed the porch. We will definitely be returning!

Everyone loved it

My wife and I took my daughter’s family (including 4 grandkids, ages6-12) on vacation this year. I visited Mountain View about 25 years ago and liked the area so we decided to revisit. Billie’s Bunkhouse filled the bill perfectly; descent price, good location, and sized right for our family of eight. The hosts provided us with a tailored guidebook that answered all our questions about the property and provided us with details on restaurants, local activities, and area points of interest. It was like having a personal concierge. My daughter’s family has used numerous rental properties and labeled this one as one of the best.

Cozy and close to town

We had a great stay! The kitchen was stocked with most everything you would need, and we loved cooking breakfast there. I also thought the loft area was much more spacious than you could tell in the pictures. It was nice to have a quiet comfortable place to come back to after a busy day.

A Great Getaway!

The property is in a beautiful location close enough to local businesses to explore the town, but in a rural enough area that you feel somewhat secluded! The checkin procedure was so easy and the host was very accommodating! Will definitely stay again!

Thanksgiving weekend

We used to live in Mtn View, so now we come back multiple times a year to visit family and friends. We really enjoyed this cabin! It had everything we needed to have family over for dinner and visit. The location was perfect! We will definitely be back to stay again!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our family has always had a love for outdoor adventures and finding quaint small towns with a lot of action. No matter where we go, that tends to be the goal of the destination. Mountain View is definitely a place that fits the bill but not only does it serve this purpose for us, it also happens to be the place that my Great Grandmother was born, giving it some extra nostalgia. When this cabin came up for sale, we jumped on it as a place where our family can stay during visits but also to share our love of the area with you. We dubbed the Cabin 'Billie's Bunkhouse:" in her honor and you will notice certain places in the area that carry her family name - Pogue- such as Pogue creek. She was born at what is now the little blue inn in town. With or without the family ties, Mountain View is one of the most charming, fun and beautiful places to explore and we hope Billie's Bunkhouse will be a memorable stay for whatever adventure brings you to the area! We know you'll feel the nostalgia too!
