Cosy and comfortable cabin that slept our family of 7 for a lovely weekend away from the city! It is in a great spot-just 15 minutes from town and 10 minutes from Blanchard Springs. We especially enjoyed the easy access (less than 5 min away) to the Sylamore Creek for water activities. Thanks for a great stay!
We went to Mountain View to horseback ride. The cabin was only a mile down the road, so made it easy. The cabin is also close to the Anglers restaurant and where they rent canoes and rafts and 3 National Forests, so very great location for any outdoor activity, but close enough to Mountain View to run into town for the music or go to the Ozark Folk Center State Park.
We stayed in this little cabin to be close to a family reunion. The owner was great to communicate with and very accommodating. The location was in between all things we wanted to do while staying in the area!
I wanted to stay in a place convenient to Gravity BrewWorks, Jojo's Catfish, and Saturday night Music on the Square. This place was perfect! The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean, the owner was very easy to work with and very responsive.
The only thing to note is that the driveway entrance is about 200 ft before the house, coming from the East. At night, turn in the driveway as soon as you see the house. But if you miss it like we did, there are a few driveways- to- be not long after, so don't panic.
We really enjoyed our stay at Pack your bags and leave tonight. The house was just the right size, clean and tidy. The location is far enough in the country for privacy and to enjoy Arkansas nature but conveniently close enough to restaurants, entertainment and town.
We would definitely recommend this place.
This is a beautiful location and home, however upon arrival I needed to sweep, mop, rewash linens, rewash dishes, and reclean the bathroom. I understand that everyone has a different idea about what "clean" is but it was not sufficient for my two young kids. It seems the upstairs linens were not clean, much dust everywhere, unclean bathroom sink amd shower as well. The MOST dissapointing part was that there was 1 smoke detector installed and it was hanging from the ceiling and not intact. All rooms seemed to have mounts but no alarms installed. I found three items left from other renters around the house even! Once I went around and cleaned it was great and comfortable as intended but really bummed I had to put effort into cleaning it without compensation. The owner did send over the cleaner but he couldnt do anything cleaning wise since i had already completed this. I did advise installation of correct smoke detectors and sadly this was not completed during our stay. I would recommend it for location but make sure its cleaned well beforehand!
This is exactly what and where my family needed to go to. This little cabin fit us perfectly and was exactly what we were looking for. Was very cost effective and in a perfect location. We will definitely be staying at this house again!
The house is quite cozy, plenty tidy and decorated. Location is quite good for going to scenic ventures or outdoors related activities as itâs located on the edge of national forest. Property is closer to highway than I thought and the yard is somewhat compact. Most anything needed is already on property. So basic amenities appear to have been well provided. If one intends to cook be prepared for a relatively tight kitchen space.
Enjoyed the stay, though at the time many activities were closed due to off season and prescribed burns.
We rented the cabin for a weekend and had a great stay. It's right off the road (easy to find) and close to everything we wanted to do. The cabin was clean and had pretty much everything we needed. We really appreciated the property owners letting us check in early!
This cabin fit my husband and I plus 6 children comfortably, it gave us quality time together and was so cozy. The owners stayed in touch with us for all needs. We hated to leave but was glad we stayed!
Mountain View is such a beautiful area, no better way to enjoy it than a stay in the mountains! This cabin is in a great location, close to so many local favorite stops. Cabin is easy to find, nicely equipped. We enjoyed our stay and very happy we could take Lady the dog !!
We spent a wonderful week in this cozy cabin in the mountains. Beautiful views!! Very clean and had everything we needed. It is not far from the town of Mountain View and many other tourist attractions. Saw deer in back every morning and star gazed every nite. Canât say enough about our host, Tripp Clark, who was very attentive and a phone call away.
Loved staying in this cabin. The host thought of everything possible you need on a trip. The location is close to all attractions but still also secluded.
The owners were extremely nice, called the day of check in, text me to make sure we had arrived and all was well at the property.
The cabin was as advertised, clean, and had all the things we needed for a nice 3 day weekend.
Will definitely be looking to stay on our next trip back to Mountain View.
