We came for 6 days with my parents over Christmas. The house itself is a wonderful size for an even larger group than ours. We got our pick of rooms and had plenty of space in the common areas (kitchen, dining, and living rooms) for cooking, puzzles, and watching movies. Everything was clean and tidy, and the towels came shrink-wrapped from the linen company, which, as a bit of a germophobe, I really appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the cooking utensils and equipment you would need- we cooked a full Christmas dinner here and had everything needed. We absolutely loved the rechargeable lanterns provided and used those every night for walks on the beach. The only negatives during our stay were that the main coffee maker (Hamilton Beach brand) and the firepit coffee table outside didn't work. There was a separate Mr. Coffee brewer, which we used, but it's a much smaller size. The deck is also probably due for some repairs. There were wood shards that chipped off from the stairs, I threw away because I was worried our dog or we would step on them. The location of the house is great: steps from the beach, and the fenced-in backyard felt much bigger in person than it looks in pictures. We also really appreciated the use of the cargo lift! I accidentally left 3 bags on the cargo lift (my husband thought I grabbed them, I thought he grabbed them) and we drove away without them. I thought they were long gone, but the cleaning crew actually picked them up and took them to the Cobb office, where I was able to retrieve them. They went above and beyond, and it was SO appreciated! Especially since the person in the office stayed about 10 minutes later after they closed to allow me to grab them. THANK YOU!
