Weekend for mom

Mom got a horrible cancer diagnosis and will start chemo next week - we needed one last hoorah. Was accommodating for our cousins and her brother (6 total). Everyone had a great time. A lift-elevator wld be great for older guests.

Needed Vacation

We wanted to stay at the beach for the holiday weekend. As a wife and mama of 4 boys we need room! This place was perfect. It was beautiful, spacious and beach front. Worth the money!!!

Great View

We really enjoyed our December stay. Weather was not perfect but the beach house was. Property has a wonderful unobstructed view for miles. The light filters into the main living/kitchen area providing a bright and cheery atmosphere. The deck is fantastic but we really couldn’t use it due to inclement weather. Worth noting for Summer stays! Beds were comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. Location is right off the HWY with great parking. Great property!

Getaway for 2

We haven't had a "get away" alone for quite awhile.....no kids, no grandchildren....just us. It was a beautiful, quiet, and well- appointed house. We had wonderful, peaceful time. The "Bolivar" has yet to disappoint us. We shall return! 👍

Exceeded Expectations

I have high expectations and they were easily exceeded. The property was spotless, the grass mowed, and the interior and exterior are beautiful. There's a short sand path to the beach in front of the house. Nothing in front of you; the house is on the beach. Just at the end of the miles of beach houses, so it's not packed with people; it's almost secluded. Checking out at 10 am is too early so that would be my only suggestion for improvement.

Thanksgiving at the beach

The only thing I found wrong with our stay is that we had to leave. The house fit our family perfectly and we are planning to come back in the summer.

Family trip with kids and grandkids.

The house was perfect for us. Very clean, plenty of room to sleep and hang out in the living and kitchen area in the evenings. Beach access was only a few short steps which made it very easy to bring our beach gear down. Would stay here again!

Family beach getaway

We had such a great time at this property. Literally steps away from the beach with a private beach feel. The town is not commercialized at all, which was pretty nice. Everything you’ll need is at the Big Store, but upcharged big time. House was perfect for our group with room to spare. All appliances worked perfect, ac worked great, beds were comfy, amazing views just great property. The only two complaints I’d have both have to deal with bugs. The mosquitoes were something out of a movie, the property owners could not help that at all. They were everywhere outside by anything that had grass. The bugs in the house were our only issue with house. You could tell they have been treating the house because they would show up in new places dead after just being swept. Mostly wore shoes in the house because of this reason. We did not contact owners because there wouldn’t be enough time to kill them all if they were to spray. Like I said though, everything was absolutely perfect except that. Would definitely consider coming back if only one issue was corrected.

Great Beach Getaway

We had such a great time! This house was perfect and just steps away from the beach! The porch offered a perfect place to watch the sun rise and set and for star gazing! The house had everything we needed and more. Overall it was a great experience and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Property and Great Location!

Wow! The home was so beautiful and decorated really nice. We ate in, and had everything we needed to cook. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. And the huge island was wonderful for dining and playing games. The house is literally steps from the beach! And because it's at the less crowded end of the Peninsula, it was like having our own private beach behind the house! We were there on a Saturday thru Tues, and on the weekdays the beach was almost empty! My 10 year olds loved collecting seashells. There are so many! I also loved that the house had toys for the kids. Board games, dvds, Lincoln Logs and other toys. It was an amazing stay! I definitely want to go back next summer! The ONLY minor complaint is that the two king beds could use new mattresses. They weren't horrific, but could definitely use an upgrade. But aside from that, it was an amazing stay!
