Country Cottage on a beautiful Winecountry Vineyard
Our vineyard cottage is located in the midst of a vineyard, which produces 3 varietals of tasty wine grapes. The deck overlooks the beautiful Alexander valley and the mountains . A mile or so from the little town of Geyserville which boasts it's half dozen restaurants Located a short 10 minute drive from Healdsburg which is renowned nationwide for his restaurants and the hundreds of wine tasting rooms.
I spent a month at Paul and Vivi"s cottage this summer and really enjoyed it. I was looking for something quiet and peaceful and it was exactly that, with a spectacular view. The cottage contained everything I needed for my 30-day stay, was comfortable and private. I loved just taking in the scenery around the cottage, including their beautiful vineyards. Paul and Vivi were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend it.
We spent our last three winters heading out to Californiaâs Wine country. We have stayed at quite a few places, and this was by far our favorite. It was close to everything we wanted to do and see. Sitting on the patio after enjoying one of the nearby hikes, having a glass of wine looking out over the vineyards and the mountains was amazing. Our hosts were just as amazing as the views. We will definitely be back.
ï»żWe have always wanted to stay in a cottage tucked away in a vineyard, and were so pleased to have found this sweet one in such a gorgeous wine country location.
Love the private entry gates and winding driveway leading through the vines to the cottage. Though itâs just a short drive to downtown Geyserville, and busy Healdsburg, it feels far away from it all.
The covered patio has stunning views of the Mayacamas mountains, lush grapevines, roses in full bloom, many birds and a couple of horses in the distance and is the perfect place to unwind. Our very kind hosts even left a bottle of their excellent Malbec for us!
The vintage cottage is charming, very clean & comfortable, with strong wi-fi, central AC, nice washer & dryer and a well-equipped kitchen. It was fun doing a little cooking on the well-preserved OâKeefe & Merritt stove, although there are also many very good restaurants nearby, including the new Cyrus in Geyserville.
Next morning we found a bag of delicious home grown heirloom tomatoes and veggies on our porch, from the ownerâs garden up the hill. Farm to table fresh and their thoughtfulness was much appreciated!
Whether exploring the many backroads of Sonoma County or just enjoying the peace and beauty of living in a private vineyard in summer, weâve been having a wonderful stay!
