One of the Most Beautiful Ocean Views in West Maui at Kaleialoha

Gorgeously and recently renovated unit at Kaliealoha tucked in the corner to avail of the amazing ocean views West Maui has to offer. It’s arguably the best unit at Kaleialoha. Entire left wall has tinted widows for privacy, feels like your outside with nature. The unit is so peaceful since you don't hear any road noise because of its location at the resort. You hear mostly are the mesmerizing crashing waves and relaxing wind to calm your nerves. Turtles and other sea creatures are your constant companion while you snorkel right in front of the unit and humpback whales when in season. There is no parking fee nor resort fee at all. Fully furnished and kitchen is stocked with all you need for cooking and dining . There are several oceanfront barbecue grill for your use whenever you feel you want to dine in. Entire unit has A/C ( both living room and bedroom). Remote control shades for privacy and reprieve during those hot summers. Unlike other resorts, we don’t have sandbags fronting our beach.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay, we booked for whale watching and got that and so much more. Unit was clean and beautiful, hearing the waves right below us was amazing!! Would stay there again and again!!

Clean and comfortable. Very nicely appointed. Every time we thought of something that we needed we looked and found it there. Turtles visited every day. Gorgeous sunsets every night between Lanai and Molokai. Responsive

Birthday Vacation

Amazing! Exactly as advertised-from the furnishings to the linens, the location and the stunning views! There are not enough complimentary words. There was an issue with the fridge that was dealt with in a timely manner, with a more than generous compensation for the inconvenience to us. Marty was very responsive and helpful in dealing with the issue. We would happily stay at 404 Kaleialoha again...in a heartbeat, and have referred the property to friends who frequent Maui. Thanks for a wonderful "home-base" for our vacation.

Absolutely Gorgeous

Arrived after sunset after a long journey from the east coast. Instructions and access were great and no problem getting into the condo. Everything was immaculately clean and just crashed in the very comfortable bed. Woke early next morning and the view just takes your breath away. Just sitting on the balcony watching sunsets and the sea turtles is just so relaxing. Everything we needed was provided, including snorkel equipment to go swim and watch the turtles swim past. Plenty of food options and only a few miles down to Lahaina. If this place is available for when you want to visit, book it. You will not be disappointed.

Spectacular view as advertised

Very nice property with amazing views, handy location and quiet and relaxing. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was fairly well stocked (could use another frying pan and there was no broiler pan for the oven). Had to broil our first night as none of the BBQ’s were working! The property caretaker did get it working the next day, however. Also, the hair dryer was missing but the owner, Ray, got one delivered to us that day so very good service. Only drawbacks was the very tight parking spots and the building is showing its age and needs some updates. We thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular views and being able to see turtles and watch for whales. Binoculars were a great bonus!

Beautiful Ocean Front Condo!

Fantastic condo with unbeatable views! Exactly as described in the listing and photos. The bed was very comfortable, as was the furniture in the living room. The kitchen is modern and well stocked, it had everything we needed. The A/C worked very well. The main attraction is, of course, the fabulous balcony! It was incredible! We were visiting in late January with the humpback whale season in mind, and we were not disappointed! We saw whales from the balcony every single day. We also saw several sea turtles from the balcony right in front of the condo every single day. Actually, if we were looking for them, we never went 10-15 minutes without seeing at least 1-2 turtles right in front of the unit. When the water was fairly calm, you can get some decent snorkeling in right in front of the condo, including getting a close up look at the turtles as most of them have no apparent fear of humans (don't touch them though! just look!). We didn't get much snorkeling in as the waves don't allow for it many days in the winter, but we did get in 1 good day in front of the condo and 1 REALLY good day at Black Rock (Kaanapali). We used the provided beach chairs during our visit to Black Rock and they were excellent. There may be other beach/snorkel gear available, but we brought our own so I'm not 100% sure. As for location, you will likely benefit from renting a car during your stay. All in all, we had a fantastic vacation and this wonderful condo was a big part of it!

Mother -daughter trip

The view is amazing ! The unit is clean, well stocked and thoughtfully decorated. Love the added features of a bathroom scale ( was tucked away in closet if you prefer not to see what all the wonderful Maui food can do to a diet!) and the beach sunshade. Amazing how a simple inexpensive item Is missing in most rentals.. it popped up quickly and protected my daughter who burns normally just walking to a car. By far the strongest feature is the owner. Communication was amazing. The first night I arrived there was a power outage and I didn’t know if it was just the unit ( too jet lagged to realized if I looked outside I would have noticed the area in darkness) .. send off a message to Ray and communication kept flowing .. Ray, thanks for making the trip wonderful !!!

Excellent in so many ways !!!

Property-The unit was AMAZING!!! It was updated, clean, and had everything you could possibly need. Beach towels and chairs were provided along with beach tent and coolers. There was one thing different from the description... the view. It was even BETTER! It took our breath away. We spent the majority of our time out on the lanai. It was astounding! One afternoon, we counted up to 7 turtles out in the water. The beach was small and secluded. It was easy to swim and snorkel among the fish and turtles. The sunsets were incredible and the stars at night were spectacular. Location- The location was perfect. We had access to all the beaches and points of interest that we wanted to explore. It was close to restaurants, stores, gas station, markets and coffee shop. You get your own parking space so that was never an issue. Although there is a pool, we always went to the small beach. Property Manager- We had a little mishap during our stay. Although there were two air conditioning units, we preferred to have the windows open to hear the waves. A gust of wind blew the bedroom door and we were locked out. Even though is it was a Sunday and late afternoon, our call was returned immediately and someone was there to assist within 30 minutes. We were so grateful for the quick response. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

When in Maui - stay here!

I cannot express how great this property is! And seriously, it's better IRL than the pictures - hard to believe but it's true! First off, the condo is so clean and well equiped - possibly one of the best I've rented in the last 10 years. The one bedroom condo is a great space for a couple with plenty of storage space for all your stuff. The kitchen area is well organized with everything you need -even if you are just warming up leftovers or cooking a full meal (BTW - there are BBQs on the property but we did not use, though others did). The unit also comes with 2 X beach chairs and a coolerbag for daytrips. We did buy a Costco beach umbrella and left it in the unit as we found we needed it in the Maui sunshine! Because you are in a end unit you have the best light for the entire day and a wonderful breeze so no A/C needed! Though, we did use the A/C just to cool down the space a bit for sleeping (one of the very few units in the building that have A/C as we found out from othere guests/owners). Both A/C units are so quiet - not those noisy old-school window units. The VERY best part of the condo is the balcony! The table & chairs are 'bar height' - the rail is not in your eyeline so you have full view of the water. We spent hours just sitting and watching the whales - boy did they put on a show for us each day we were there. 3 large turtles came by everyday as well. The condo had a set of binoculars that came in so handy. My camera roll is filled with pictures from the balcony with the amazing sunsets. There is a small beach off to side but the tides and waves made some days tricky to eaily access. Great snorkling too!The location of the condo is great too-convienient ABC store a few blocks away and amazing food can be found at the food truck park further down the road. The area is safe, clean and very convienient. I will say though, the building is a basic cinderblock construction (like others on the street) with a small couryard and pool (did not use) facing the parking lot - not fancy at all but don't let that worry you. The other guests/owners we met were so friendly. The entire building is clean and well maintained. There were no issues with noisy neighbors either. I can honestly say that it's the best spot for your stay in Maui... You wake up at 6am, start the coffee maker, open the big patio doors to hear the waves splash up on the shore, spot some whales and a few boats out in the distance - it truly is a magical place to be.

My husband and i stayed here first for seven days. We loved it place was a little small but it was just the 2 of us. It has everything you need from towels, cooking dishes.2 draw backs you can't access the beach till 8a.m , because the gates are locked. And 2nd the ac condenser unit is outside on the patio making to hot to sit outside very long. You do see alot of turles and manta rays. We saw one monk seal. All in all we would stay here again! Mahalo!!

Beautiful apartment

Very cute place! You can see the ocean right from the balcony — it’s the perfect spot for sunset. The host prepared everything and was very communicative. We highly recommend it!

A great time in paradise

The view from the 4th floor was amazing. Every day the turtles showed up during high tide to feed. The condo was well stocked and in great shape. There were beach chairs and items to borrow. We enjoyed eating out in the patio while watching the sunset.we will be back.

Stunning views

The condo had stunning views. So many turtles, whales, rainbows, and sport fish could be seen from the balcony. Any minor imperfections in our stay were washed by the location and views. Would definitely visit again.
