Toute la maison est orientée vers les superbes vues sur le lac. Il se sent comme si vous flottez au-dessus du lac! La cuisine, salle à manger et salon sont une merveilleuse et confortable pour profiter de la vue et vous détendre sur nouveaux meubles confortables. A côté se trouve une salle supplémentaire de la famille (salle de jeux) avec t. v., dvd, air hockey et table de jeu. De cette pièce, vous pouvez accéder à l'arrière-cour où il y a une nouvelle enveloppe autour du pont niché dans le bel arbre est avec vue sur le lac. Profitez d'un barbecue ici et un grand repos à l'ombre sur le hamac.

La seconde histoire accueille toutes les chambres. La chambre principale exécute la largeur de la maison avec des portes-fenêtres sur une terrasse privée avec vue lac et montagne. La plus vue sur le lac chambre dispose d'un grand lit confortable et grand placard. La chambre avec lits superposés pour enfants comprend 2 ensembles de lits superposés XL pour tous les enfants ou confortable pour les adultes aussi! La quatrième chambre est entouré par les vues de la belle forêt de retour que vous pouvez voir dans le grand lit confortable.

Le Lakeside Gazebo est l'endroit où vous passerez la plupart de votre temps. Avec une cheminée intégrée et des sièges confortables cela deviendra votre endroit préféré. Le quai peut garer jusqu'à 2 bateaux et il y a beaucoup d'espace pour pêcher, nager et se prélasser. La maison dispose de deux kayaks pour 2 personnes et un stand Up Paddleboard avec gilets de sauvetage pour votre utilisation.

The Lake House est directement en face de la bouteille Marina Bay pour le gaz, location de bateaux, restaurant, bar, salle à manger extérieure, et location de jet ski. Ceci est une balade en voiture rapide, longue promenade ou un voyage en kayak amusant loin.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. With the increase in temps, we would agree it gets pretty hot in the house, we are considering a/c soon. The jacuzzi is never kept full; each guest group can easily fill in 30 minutes and heat in 4 hours...voila, the jacuzzi is yours for the week with nice clean and fresh water.

We have rented several homes over the years and the attention to detail in this home is superb..from the kitchen to the game room to the beach towels and water toys!!! The lack of AC was not an issue for us as we just opened the house at night and used ceiling fans! Closing blinds in afternoon was key. It was perfect for our family reunion of grandparents and 2 families (kids 8-20 years old)!! The highlight was the 8 y.o. catching a 17lb pike off the dock! We would definitely rent again!!!

Amazing location on the beach

We had a wonderful stay. The house and the beach are outstanding. We absolutely loved the community as well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The dock is perfect for hanging out all day and playing in the water. They had so many kayaks and floating devices to use. Appreciated the back deck with the hammock. Great place to cool off and lots of space to hang out with family. The hot tub was great but the weather was a bit too hot to use it too much. The property managers were so helpful including helping us rent a boat for the day just across the bay from the rental space. The house was super clean and had lots of amenities including spices and stuff for cooking everything. Great grill too. If you come at a very hot time of the year might consider bring a few extra fans or even a portable AC. They had one AC unit on main floor that worked well if you kept the shades closed and fans on. The weather was super hot at 103 when we were there. Still cooled down enough at night to sleep comfortably. We would love to come back some day.

Bottle Bay with tons of toys provided to play...

Overall we had an amazing week at the lake. Check in was easy, the house was ready upon our arrival, except there was some hiccups with getting wifi to start (the one provided on a sticky note didn't work but the one on the router did). There were tons of water toys for all of us to use (along with coordinating life jackets for any size person to use). The dock was in great shape and there were plenty of chairs for everyone to enjoy as well as an amazing hammack. The property listed a hot tub which the property did have (however it did not indicate occupants were required to fill it at the beginning of their stay and empty it at the end). Part of the fun with the hot tub is just jumping into it to relax. We opted to never mess with it. Parking was sufficient. The grill was top notch as well (plumbed to the home's gas line so never a worry we would run out). The beds were comfortable (aside from the pull out couch in the game room which had a thin mattress-ok for kids but adults may not find comfortable). There were fans in all rooms of the house which was much appreciated when the temperatures were 90 plus degrees most days.

Thank you for your review. We understand your disappointment with the hot tub but for sanitation purposes we require each renter to fill and maintain it. For future reference, it only takes 30 minutes to fill with hose & 3-4 hours to heat. We are happy you enjoyed your stay on the Lake!

Ideal spot for a vacation at the lake!

We couldn't have been happier with the house and the location on Bottle Bay! The communication before and during the trip was excellent, and the house was immaculate and well-stocked. Don't let the road between the house and the lake scare you...you can't see it when you're in the house and since it's a dead end road, there is very little traffic and the speedbumps insure that cars travel very slowly. Martina was very helpful when we had questions about the house and also when we rented a boat at the Bottle Bay Marina, which is right across from the house (delicious meals and huckleberry margaritas at the marina restaurant!). The nights were cool and we closed up the house in the afternoon so we didn't need any air-conditioning - ceiling fans were enough. The highlight of the trip was the July 4 fireworks display on Bottle Bay...it went on for almost two hours! This was our first trip to Idaho but we're already talking about our return to this house.

Great lake side vacation

location was about 25 minutes drive from sandpoint. House was spacious and comfortable for 2 families. Kids ranging in ages 9-14 all were kept busy with the available kayaks and paddle boards. Was excellent to have parking for our boat rental in front of the house. Having access to the lake was perfect and was great to use the outdoor fireplace and dock. Great hikes very close in proximity to the house as well. Garage was large enough to fit our own SUPS and a few bikes.

Great house for our crowd!

Our party was made up of 2 families (total of 11 people) for our week at this wonderful house. The house was perfect for our large group! There are 4 bedrooms on the upper floor and they quite nicely accommodated 2 couples (although the master bedroom is WAY larger than the other room with a queen bed, so deciding who gets the master may be an issue if you have 2 families staying here), 4 young adult ladies (bunk room), my elderly mother (room with double) and two young men (stayed in the LARGE lower floor games room). There are 2 bathrooms (one down and one up). The house was well stocked with all kinds of towels including swim towels and it had a great washer and dryer in the large downstairs bathroom. The kitchen has all the amenities you could possibly need and was well stocked with basics, including plenty of dishes and some spices. The dining table is very large, plus there is a lovely deck out back with more seating area. The best part of this property is the fantastic gazebo and beautiful dock. We spent much of our time in the gazebo or swimming in the lake when were "home." The lake is clear and warmish and given that we had 90+degree weather each day, we were in the lake at lot! The house came with kayaks, a paddle board, and life jackets of all sizes. Very fun! We rented a boat from Bottle Bay Marina for 3 days and that was one of the highlights of the trip. We took a trip down to Garfield Bay in the boat, docked at the public dock and had ice cream cones from the store there. The young people wake boarded and tubed and had a blast. Sandpoint is about 30 minutes away, so stock up on groceries your first day. We only had to make one more trip to the store mid-week and we combined that with a night out for dinner. The only cons of the house was the lack of air conditioning. As I mentioned, we had 90-95 degree weather and it was HOT in the house, especially in the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans which certainly did help. We had also brought a portable air conditioner and floor fans from home which we really appreciated. I know the heat was somewhat uncommon for that time of year, but air conditioning would be a great addition. When we first arrived I was somewhat apprehensive about the one-lane road that splits the house from the grassy area and gazebo. But, there are very few cars on the road and we actually enjoyed walking up and down the road and meeting the friendly neighbors. All in all, a fantastic home and location!

EXCELLENT Family Trip

My family and I had the most wonderful vacation staying at this home in Bottle Bay. We came up during spring break hoping for a ski vacation. But found we were most content just hanging at this beautiful home and being on its wonderful dock watching the lake and its surroundings during this change of season. We did have a fun day skiing Schweitzer Mountain on the last weekend it was open for the season. All the people there were incredibly kind and friendly, which is what we found to be the case throughout Sandpoint. We also hiked Gold Hill Trail, which had a fabulous view, so make it all the way to the top if you do decide to do that hike. Also, make sure you drive both ways from Sandpoint to Bottle Bay; both drives are so scenic and different. Still our favorite memories from this trip are being at this lake house. We loved fishing off the dock, making s’mores and hanging around the outdoor woodstove at night, taking walks and the kids (9 and 11 yrs.) loved the game room!

4th of July Vacation

My husband and I rented the house for the 4th of July week. Our three grown children along with their wives and children joined us. One couple lives in Montana and the rest of us in Oregon so it was great to meet up about halfway for all of us. The house is just great - nicely furnished and very comfortable. The bay is calm so we could leave our boat and jet skis tied at the dock without worrying about rough water. It is very peaceful and so fun to have the family out on the dock together and barbequing in the evening on the deck at the back of the house. We didn't even need to travel to view fireworks as residents on the bay put on quite the show. Great vacation -- hope we can do it again soon.

Wonderful Vacation!

My family has had the pleasure of staying at the Bottle Bay Family Lake House in both the summer and the winter. The summer is peaceful and spectacular. The house is amazing. There is enough room for 2 families. We enjoyed the lake with kayaks and were able to rent jet skis just across the Bay. Sitting on the deck and watching the late-night sunsets are my favorite memories. The kids loved jumping in the lake as well as exploring the surrounding areas. There are great hikes within walking distance and the town is very easily accessible. During the wintertime, the mountains were nothing short of amazing. The lake was frozen and we were in a winter wonderland. The house was cozy and warm! We skied at Schweitzer Mountain four days in a row. That resort is the best kept secret! The rates are more than reasonable and the drive is very easy, even with kids. I highly recommend this lake house for all times of the year. We have great memories there!!

We are an active family of five that enjoys surfing, skateboarding, bike rides and beach time while living in San Diego, CA.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

In 2007, our family took a 2 week vacation in Sandpoint, ID and it was the best family vacation we had ever had. We have come back every summer since. Even though we stayed in other homes on Lake Pend O'reille, our favorite location was Bottle Bay.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our favorite thing about our home is the amazing sunsets and long warm days. Because the house is west facing (on the Bay) the house and boat dock and swimming area receive full sun from morning until 9pm. Our second favorite thing to do is kayak across the bay to the Bottle Bay Resort & Marina for a late lunch and amazing Huckleberry Margaritas!
