Literal walking distance to everything. Spacious, comfortable and has an amazing view. Sunroom was amazing for watching the sunset and sunrise, makes you enjoy the slower pace of Savannah and the history.
This is an old house in historic Savannah with an interesting history. There's plenty of room for a family to spread out. There's no self-check in, but Robert lives close enough that it's not an issue. He was able to give me lots of information on where to go and what to see in the area. There's a Kroger nearby and the free bus is close too, although we chose to walk to the riverfront and back.
Photos misrepresent property. Apartment appeared not to have been cleaned in years. Every surface had to be wiped prior to useage. Water damage and mold in one bedroom. Dirty linens and towels in closets creating a sour smell making the closets unusable. No extra bedding/blanket. Kitchen ill-equipped. One bowl. The only knife was a small steak knife. Non-working toaster. Two scratched dirty pots/pans.Foyer, stairwell and common areas filthy. We would have left, but no other options as it was a very busy weekend in Savannah. The only saving grace was the sunroom.
