We stayed here while visiting Savanah and going to a show at the arena. Within walking distance to the shuttle to the show and back. Clean and just like the pictures. Great location to walk or a quick uber to restaurants too. Really nice neighborhood. Would love to stay again
This property is conveniently located in the heart of the historic district. Itâs walkable to boutiques, shops, and restaurants. The apartment was clean and the perfect size for two. It was well appointed and had many nice touches for a weekend stay.
Everything about this place was excellent except the stairs! I have had a knee and a hip replacement which made it a bit challenging at times getting up and down the stairs. The place is located in a beautiful part of town very convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.
This apartment is in a great location in one of the most beautiful parts of historic Savannah. The apartment is beautifully decorated in a modern style that still paid homage to it's historic roots. The shower was great!! The apartment was incredibly clean, although we had a few small quibbles. Our host was easy to communicate with. We walked everywhere during our 2 night/3 day stay.We only received a single bath towel and didn't notice in any of the closets or cabinets where others could be located. Luckily we had some towels in the car from our beach trip the previous week, or one towel during our stay during an incredibly hot time of year would not have been sufficient. The door to the bathroom also will not close/stay closed. I believe it's just the age of the door and frame as it seemed original to the historic house. Not a huge deal, just weird if you're not alone.Note: This is a walk-up apartment on the top floor, so if you have accessibility concerns, this listing might not be for you. Parking is also a fun adventure-- but that's just Savannah, and nothing to do with the property. It was sometimes confusing to know which parts of the building were for vrbo guest use and which parts were only for owners/permanent residents, since it is all owned by the same company Cora Bett Thomas properties, and the when to leave vs when to take the key with you was a bit odd. Overall, we loved our stay, and will be back to Savannah again, perhaps staying at the same place :)

Aside from the stairs (not complaining as we knew ahead of time, just tough after a fully day of walking) this place was perfect. Decor was stunning, and had everything we could possibly need.
We had come down for the Savannah half marathon and we were just about two blocks from Forsyth park (start of the race) and where the fountain is located! The apartment was very cute, in a great neighborhood
Amazing location. Charming well decorated appartment, service

Very much enjoyed the place and location but our stay, and a short one, was not a wifi and we were told it had its moods and there wasnt much to do. Eve tually the next dsy it ca.e back but in the meantime after a day od driving we had to wonder off to find a place with wifi so as to manage our work emergencies. Then we spent our last evening on the stairs as the door wouldn't open and maintenance 4 find a locksmith.
We had a fantastic time in the apartment. Very clean, convenient, and close to everything. It is listed as the 4th floor, but we feel 3rd floor is more appropriate (you walk up a short flight of stairs to get to the main entrance. Once inside itâs only 2 flights). The living space is beautiful and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book this property again.
I probably didnât read the description well enough. So I just want to remind anyone that there are. Too many stairs for 70 years old. And the area was small, wouldnât want to spend much time in the 4th floor apartment
Overall this location & property was good. Space was clean other than a couple of Spider webs in the windows. This space has so much potential, the furniture is kind of college kid meets first apartment. Could use a little more decoration jazz up the mantels. additional seating I living room would be nice a love seat or extra comfy chair. A bookshelf etc stick with similar furniture designs to make it more cohesive.
We loved the whole historical feel of this beautiful apartment, and Jones St is absolutely beautiful. Centrally located and quite.
That being said, hoofing all luggage and things up to the 4th floor was tiresome. Which I didn't give much thought to when booking so keep that in mind. Beautiful chandelier in the bedroom, but it got warm at night and a ceiling fan would have been nice. Bed as very comfortable! Which is probably where most people watch TV, but we dont and the couch in the livingroom wasnt the most comfortable for sitting a long time.
We did enjoy our stay and my few thing I listed above were not problems it just comes down to personal choice. The apartment was very lovely

The 4th floor vacation rental at 121 W. Jones was an excellent stay. The space is roomy, bright and very comfortable. It was truly fun to have a window view of the trees. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We came for almg weekend away and this home did not disappoint. Being pup friendly was a must and we had the best time. We were able to walk to almost everything and having squares not even 2 blocks away was amazing . We will recommend 121 W.Jones Street Savannah to our friends.
The property was NOT as advertised and displayed in the pictures.
The queen bed had a BIG DIP in the middle. My husband and i .. although we each weigh only about 150 pounds each.. rolled to the center of the bed..Neither of us rested well. Unfortunately we had rented for 15 nights as we work all year and wanted a good rest... in a beautiful city.
One of the bed pillows had a hole in the middle where the stuffing had been pulled out.
The window on the left side of the bed had rotted away, and to keep out insects my husband plced several pieces of paper into the hole .. the hole was as big as a golf ball.
The two " fireplaces" had dirt covering the floor. Black dirt on the white tile.. the several candles placed on the fireplaces, had no batteries in them, so they couldn't be used.
The two stands on either side of the bed had two dirty tall lamps that looked like they had been picked out of somewhere worse than a garbage dump. The one " table" on the side of the bed was a small folding tv table.
There were lose hanging doors on cupboards, so we tried to be careful not to use them.
The door to our apartment would not latch.. had to push it hard to close in order to lock.
We left three days early as we could no longer take the non sleep.. because of the crappy matress.
When we asked the management to provide us with more toilet paper.. as we were scheduled to be there for 15 nights.. they said.. " oh, the five rolls we gave you was just a starter pack" ..
So much more interesting than a hotel. Spacious apartment with all the amenities. We could walk everywhere from this location. Very close to the famous Mercer Williams house which canât be missed. Good shopping right in the neighborhood and some great restaurants close by. One issue: the queen mattress sinks in the middle and needs to be replaced. Not a problem if you are traveling solo but challenging for you and a partner. Thatâs the only reason I gave this four stars instead of five.
The pictures are outdated; there is deferred maintenance to the property, including a peeling ceiling (ick), a bed with significant depressions/valleys, and furniture that is fine (not "fresh"), all of which contributed to our expectations not being met. I.e., don't show us "perfect pictures" if the property is not "perfect".
Property is fine, not "4 star". I would avoid next time.
Pros:
* Location is super for our purposes - easily walkable to all that we wanted to do.
* Space - plenty of space for a couple, but no more.
Cons:
* Limited hot water for showers. When on vacation, this is something we expect at a vacation property - i.e., that we can enjoy a hot shower. This unit only has enough hat water for a single person to have a nice, hot shower. Two people can take quick, hot showers.
* Bathroom - Why don't places like this simply redo the caulk in the obvious spaces, like the shower/tub? It just feels "icky" to step into a tub with a caulk line that has black stains.
* Access - It was quite odd to have a an actual key and need to leave it on property. For the past several years there has always been a code to access properties.
* Management - In theory there is a professional management company in place; however,...
* the contract they send has several clauses that caused me to pause as they are not relevant and feel draconian;
* they did not return calls when I left messages;
* gave me an overall impression of immaturity/do as little as possible.
Nice clean apartment, great location, quiet building, only drawback if any, itâs on the top floor. Three stories! Good workout, we all need the steps!! đ
What a beautiful and historic stay on Jones street- the apartment was picturesque and just magical. We loved celebrating New Years in this cozy apartment on one of the most gorgeous streets in Savannah. Close to so much (antique stores, bars, cafes, squares) and right in the heart of the historic district. We loved seeing the plaques on all the houses on Jones street with the dates of when the houses were made and imaging who lived there when they were built in the 1800s. I would say if you are not a big stair climber then this is not the spot for you, (you have to climb the stoop and 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment). If you donât mind stairs I say donât miss out on this gem! Having laundry available was also a huge plus! I would absolutely stay here next time Iâm in the city.
We parked our car and walked everywhere. Great location. Five minutes walk to restaurants and Forsyth Park. Quiet location. Large bright rooms. Comfortable bed and pillows
