Charming turn of the century look cabin is nestled in a secluded 60+ acres of pure nature. Historical are popular back in the 1930's. The owners, Paul and his wife Bennie, built this magnificent and spacious 3 bedroom log cabin back in the 1980âs with a focus of piece and tranquility from the hectic rigors of everyday life for family and friends to just get away. Now, they are opening their home to YOU so that your family and friends can come, relaxe and enjoy. With just a short hike to Norris Lake, located in their back yard, the secluded cabin gives an opportunity to view natures wildlife in full action and including a few cows and goats meandering through the yard as they sometimes escape from their corral and boy is that a treat.
Excellent place to stay! We found this cabin to be quaint, comfortable, spacious and cozy. It is quite secluded, tucked into the mountains but not too far from the main road. The owner was great about communicating with us. Wi-Fi worked well, all beds were comfortable. We only had three adults but there were 4 bedrooms and a sofa with room for 10-12 I think. Definitely recommend if youâre looking for a remote, quiet retreat.
We would definitely stay here again: right price, clean, spacious cabin with a cozy feel, handsome diagonal planks for wall partions upstairs, fully equipped kitchen, new grill outside, pleasant surroundings, and a peaceful 7 minute walk along lane to Norris Lake. Host had everything we might need on hand and is exactly the kind of person one wants to do business with: glad we chose to stay here.
A beautiful 2 story cabin on a dead end road with lots of nature and animals surrounding the property. No cell service until you hook onto Wi-Fi. Our stay was wonderful and peaceful. Nicely furnished cabin with comfortable beds,
and real close to the lake. We will definitely stay here again if we need a place to stay near Tazewell and Lincoln Memorial University. Thanks to the hosts for a nice stay!
