A short block to one of the most beautiful beaches Florida has to offer. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but just six blocks to all the hustle and bustle that Flagler Ave is famous for. Bikes are provided for easy access to all beachside destinations. Smyrna Dunes Park is a beautiful spot nearby. Rumor has it, Hemingway stayed in this suite.

Close to the Beach

Our bed was comfortable and morning coffee on the porch was a great way to start the day before our short walk to the beach.Be prepared for some limitations in the kitchen. You’ll need to unplug the coffeemaker before using the microwave or toaster, but you’re on vacation and not in a hurry, right?

Clean and convenient

If you are looking for a place close to the beach, restaurants and stores, Hemingway place is it! It’s a simple, no fuss apartment w/all necessities and close to everything.

Great little getaway close to the beach

Super affordable compared to surrounding properties. Huge master, kitchen is small but so functional, and you can walk to beach, stores, & restaurants! The reviews complained about the bed, but we thought it was fine. I would stay here again!

Comfortable Retreat Near the Beach

Enjoyed and relaxed in the upstairs apartment a block from the beach. It was very comfortable for two people. It was very clean and had beach towels and chairs for the beach. Thank you for the relaxing stay!

Great Stay!

Our daughter has home on Crawford across the street and 3 houses away. That house was full to capacity with family and grandchildren so we rented The Hemmingway. BEST decision we made! We ate in breakfast and lunch but went out for dinner every evening so not having a full oven and dishwasher was not a problem at all. Perfect for 2 people!

Shark Bite Half Weekend

Host was very accommodating, given our tight schedule with the marathon, and allowed us to have a late checkout. The room was very nice, beachy, and quaint. Just what we needed to be able to rest up and enjoy our weekend. Close proximity to great restaurants and the beach.

A great find!

The property is so cute and was perfect for our long weekend away! Location is perfect- close to everything. We will definitely stay here again. I would suggest an information sheet letting the guest know where they can find the bikes , washer/ dryer etc. A new mattress would also be a plus.

Great apartment one block from the beach , always clean and just super easy. Walk everywhere!

I’ve renting this space several times over the years. It’s great and super close to everything so really you can just leave your car and walk everywhere. They even have a couple of beach chairs and beach towels! Just a great little home away from home.

My stay here was excellent! Easy to find and great access to all NSB offers. My only small complaint was water pressure…..you couldn’t have any water running anywhere else when showering…..

The property is in a great location with the beach just a block away. The couple managing the property for the owner were very nice as we work with them to resolve plumbing issues on the property. This rental property has great potential but it's clear that the property suffers from the owners commitment to stay ahead and be proactive on proper maintenance.

Conveniently located

Property was close to the beach, neighborhood was nice and safe. Comfortable for two people, would recommend bringing your own Kleenex and toilet paper. There is a microwave and a hot plate but no stove, not sure if I just missed that in the amenities or not. Over all nice stay for a short period.

Amazing retreat for a couple

This was an amazing retreat/getaway place. Just enough space and amenities that we needed nothing extra. We could walk to sunrise a block away at to beach, then wonder to Flagler for coffee and breakfast. Lots to do and easily accessible to everything. If we had questions or needs, our property manager was just a quick text away. Very responsive. Planning our next trip back!

long weekend

Went to NSB for a long weekend to visit family. This was perfect for me and my husband. Had everything we needed, was very comfortable, clean, and I loved having coffee on the porch in the morning. Had to make some changes, and host was quick to respond and very accomodating. Would definately reccomend,

The property is nice enough. Close to Beach. The shower was not working... Hot water was a trickle. There is no thermostat for ac, whatever the owner or other guests feel comfortable at. The place could have been cleaner. Did not stay both nights because of the shower. Bed was comfortable..

Cozy and perfect location

Our stay was a short 2 days, but we couldn’t have asked for a better location near our daughter in NSB. The unit was adorable and comfortable. I was expecting a studio, so we were pleasantly surprised it was a one bedroom. We also enjoyed the use of the deck out front. The location to the beach and Flagler Ave was perfect! We met a few neighbors in the building and on the street and everyone was so kind and friendly. We also reached out to the owner with a question prior to check-in and she quickly responded. We look forward to staying again at the Hemingway Suite!

Great location and clean property

The location and ease if access to the beach and Flager Ave was great. Overall the property was clean and nice space for a couple. But the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and didnt have a box spring or a stable base. The shower was small, even for me at 5"2 and werid water pressure. Wish woukd have known about adjoining door to the unit next door bc i think made the sound travel easily. Also be nice if there was a trash can in the bathroom. But overrall would stay again if some small tweaks to the place. maybe extra blankets/pillows.

New Smyrna Beach apartment

The good - Great location with a short walk to the beach, fair price, spacious bedroom, bed is more comfy than other reviews have mentioned, nice porch to sit and relax, quiet during my stay. The apartment has a simple old-school charm to it. For me, the location to the beach and Flagler Ave were there biggest pluses. What I wish was different - The shower was tiny and water drained too slowly with water collecting pretty quickly in the tray. I didn't realize how much I'd miss a couch or recliner. Seating was limited to arm chairs and I ended up staying in bed on the day it rained. The mattress topper was fine, but I think oversized sheets were used because of it, and the fitted sheet "popped off" too easily and often. Finally, I was hoping to use of the 5 bikes mentioned in the listing, but only 1 was road-worthy - but even that one was sketchy and I didn't use it after a test ride. The others had popped tubes that wouldn't hold air and one had no chain. Overall I was pleased with my choice. If you don't mind the nit-picky things I mentioned, you'll enjoy your stay! For me, it was a 4 out of 5.
