To ensure every guest enjoys a '10 out of 10' stay and to keep our 1-acre oasis pristine for everyone, we have a few house rules. They’re the standard 'nitty-gritty' stuff, but they help us maintain the high standards you deserve!
✨ BOOKING REQUIREMENTS ✨
Within 24 hours of booking:
✔️ Signed Renter Agreement: Required for all stays (Primary guest 25+ and present for entire stay).
✔️ Identity Verification: Government-issued photo ID matching the name on the reservation
✔️ Security Deposit: A $750 hold is placed 2 days before check-in. Credit card must match the name on the reservation. Door codes activated once all requirements are met.
✨ HOUSE RULES & GENERAL POLICIES ✨
✦ Occupancy & Age Limits: Maximum of 8 total guests (including daytime visitors), with a strict limit of no more than 4 children under the age of 18 per reservation.
✦ No Parties: We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or unregistered overnight guests.
✦ Garage Access: The garage is a non-living utility space providing access to beach gear, outdoor games, pool floats, and trash/recycling bins. It is not available for vehicle parking. However, our massive private driveway easily accommodates up to 4 vehicles.
✦ A/C & Heat: A/C minimum is 70°F; Heat maximum is 74°F. Please keep all exterior doors and windows closed while in use. Please note that for energy conservation and system safety, the unit is programmed to automatically shut down if doors or windows are left open for an extended period.
✦ Outdoor Grilling Safety: For fire insurance compliance, the grill must only be used outdoors in the driveway, at least 10 feet away from the home. Please ensure the propane is turned off after each use.
✨ POOL HEATING & TEMPERATURE POLICY ✨
Our heated saltwater pool is set to 86°F. Please note the following regarding its operation during your stay:
✦ Weather Dependent: We use a heat pump that extracts heat from the air. It cannot generate heat independently; therefore, water temperature is not guaranteed and is subject to ambient weather conditions.
✦ Operating Limits: If outdoor temperatures drop below 55°F, the heater will automatically shut down to protect the system. No refunds provided for weather-related fluctuations.
✦ Recovery Time: Following a cold front, it may take 24–48 hours or longer for the pool to return to its set temperature once the air warms back up.
✦ No Tampering: Host adjusts all features remotely. Guests are strictly prohibited from adjusting the pool control panel, iAquaLink settings, or pool valves. Unauthorized adjustments will result in a $250 service fee to cover system recalibration.
✨ PROPERTY SECURITY, SAFETY AND CONNECTIVITY ✨
For the protection of our guests and the property, Casa Bonita Florida is equipped with essential safety systems, including high-speed Wi-Fi, smoke/flood sensors, and exterior-only security cameras.
✦ System Integrity: Tampering with, covering, or disabling any security or safety device is a material breach of the agreement. To maintain property security, any guest-caused outage will trigger a professional maintenance dispatch to restore connectivity. A minimum $150 service trip charge, plus any applicable repair costs, will be deducted from the security deposit.
✦ Privacy Guarantee: To ensure total guest privacy, there are no cameras located inside the garage or any interior living areas.
