Quaint, historic cottage, located on the C & D Canal in Chesapeake City, MD. Features, several patios, full kitchen, full bathroom, family room, & a private room upstairs. Convenietly located in downtown Chesapeake City next to the Creamery, local shops, and The Bayard House Restaurant!
Had a blast staying at the cottage during the 4 th of July weekend , we Mack in the middle of all the events going on with a amazing view of the fireworks and listen to several bands playing in the community park 15 steps from the cottage. Ownership was over the top friendly and very supportive of any needs.
Love the place but host of property never responds. The person listed on the site (Bob) as host is part owner but when you call him, he states he is not responsible for the cottage reservations. No one ever messages you back or calls you back. I am not sure that anyone is even pay attention to the site.
The location can't be beat, Beautiful outside porch, however only a few hard chairs to sit on. Inside Is small with an old sofa and chair. We did not receive any check In or out Instructions. We had to check around town to figure out how to get In the place.
