Get away from it all in our unique mountain home. Soaring two story living room with stunning stonework and beams is a fabulous gathering space. Step outside to our deck and enjoy the mountain air. Relax in the hot tub or around the firepit and roast some marshmallows or look for shooting stars.
Fantastic location just minutes to Black Mountain "Prettiest small town in America" and 20 mins to downtown Asheville. Yet feel like your away from it all.

Come enjoy a stay in this unique mountain home. Gather with friends and family in the stunning two story great room. Enjoy our private 1 acre lot with decks, hot tub, gas grill and fire pit. Chill and play in our lower level game room with ping pong, fooseball, wii and plenty of games and puzzles. Two master suites with kings beds and onsuite bathrooms as well as a 3rd King room and additional queen room.... in the basement we have just added two trifle days beds to sleep additional guests. plenty of room for all to sleep comfortably.

Pets welcome with a $75 pet fee. Max 2 pets

Guests have full access to the entire house and 1 acre property. No shared spaces.

We do not typically interact directly with guests during their stay but are just a phone call away if needed.

Our house sits in a rural area less than 5 minutes to downtown Black Mountian and 20 minutes to downtown Asheville.

A car is highly suggested however you should be able to get a ride share from this location.

Had a little trouble getting into property. Manager was very helpful and quick to respond. Once inside place was great. Clean, stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds!Would definitely rent again!

Great memories

We were up for a memorial service and were able to spend time together as a family. Really enjoyed the fire pit and the whirlpool. It worked great for our group with 2 single adults splitting the Jack and Jill bedrooms and (full) bath, older couples in master bedroom(s) and parents and kids downstairs where they had a ball with the game rooms and theater. Our group is already talking about returning for another stay.

Great stay

We stayed at this property and found it a great location. We were close to downtown, hiking and Asheville. Really nice property and maintained well. Just upstairs room could use some spring cleaning. Would stay again!

Family vacation

We loved the property. It was as advertised and was not misleading. It was far from activities such as zip lining and horseback riding but was worth it when walking and visiting the town of Black Mountain. We would stay there again.

Fantastic Space

We had a wonderful time staying at this location, it met all of our needs and was exactly as described! What you see in the listing is what you get, which is fantastic. Everything was clean, wonderful, and the hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. I highly recommend this rental.

Needs some TLC

The pictures provided are of the property “at its best”. The cabin needs some TLC to repair window seals, replace falling/broken tile, replace or repair some appliances (refrigerator ice and water not working and handle broken, oven rack missing, etc) and update/improve lighting. It could use a good deep clean to get rid of cobwebs, freshen basement, wipe down ceiling fans, and clean off windows to improve view. The road to the house was a surprise and should probably be mentioned as steep and narrow (we had a big SUV). The supplies were not fully stocked and beds were not made upon our arrival. Bears also got into the trash from previous guests and it was all over the yard. The hosts were very responsive and apologetic about the arrival conditions and corrected it as soon as possible. It was a nice stay but not exactly what we were expecting.

Fantastic home and fantastic location. Just minutes to adorable downtown Black Mountain and 20 minutes to Asheville this is an amazing place to vacation. Enjoy our renovated kitchen, super cool great room, hot tub, fire pit and game room.
