Whatz-Up Fun Park, Cedar Creek Brewery and Lone Star Marina with Tiki Hut Restaurant are closeby. Even Canton Trade Days is just 45 mins away!
My husband and I had the most amazing time. It felt so much like home away from home. Loved the serenity of the neighborhood and the lake. Canât wait to come back !
We wanted to get a few days of relaxation by the lake and loved the idea of having access to the kayaks. The house is super cute, super accessible and we enjoyed every bit of our stay! The host is very thoughtful and helpful!
The property was just as described. We were 3 women in our mid 60's having a girl's weekend and loved siting on the serene dock, fishing as the sun came up and again at dusk.. We got in a round of golf close by and lacked nothing as far ss the essentials. We didnt take advantage of the kayaks but I thank Loreena for allowing us to have a stressfree weekend. God bless your family Lorena
Property was clean. Had all the tools we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Chill atmosphere. Outdoor firepit and a nice patio area for hanging out. The kayaks were a big bonus. Lawn was mowed. Grounds kept clean. Perfect for a family of 5-6. Would like to stay again when the weather cools down a little bit.
Everything was perfect! Comfort away from home! About 40 min drive from Canton Trade Days. Enjoyed kayaking and visited with a friendly neighbor across the water.
My husband and I went for some time away while our kids were at camp. This place is perfect. Beautiful lake house has everything you need, lots of special touches. We would stay there again for sure!
The house is lovely, with lots of homey touches. The location is beautiful, on a quiet cove that was perfect for relaxed kayaking. We'll certainly be back.
The lake house was perfect for our stay. The house was very clean, smelled fresh and beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was there and was labeled making everything easy to find.
We felt right at home.
We enjoyed this property and enjoyed the view. There had been a lot of rain so runoff from nearby water caused a lot of debris to be all in the water. The property is at the end of a channel so the debris mostly settled there. However, my family still fished and if you go further down the channel in the kayaks like we did then the water cleared up and it was nice. The kayaks were in great condition and overall clean. Life jackets were available for our whole family. The kitchen is really well stocked as well as the bathrooms so that was very appreciated. However you do need to take your own beach/lake towels. Overall the property was really clean and maybe only saw one bug inside the whole time which was nice. The floors are very creaky and especially the upstairs/loft bed is extremely creaky. It wasn't a huge problem but the creaky bed was a little disturbing and something my son didn't like. There's a trundle upstairs as well so that was great. When we arrived the only thing not clean was one toilet as it had brown splattering on the seat and lid. However, it probably just got overlooked and I was grateful there were disinfectant wipes. AC worked well while we were there as well as appliances. We didn't attempt to use the washer and dryer as a part was on order so we didn't want to chance it messing up. A couple of things broke while we were there but the owner is going to address them. Overall enjoyed the stay and would recommend it as an affordable option.
Great property. Conveniently located. All amenities were enjoyed from good tv to plenty of kayaks. Hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. Would recommend highly
This was a great experience for me, daughter, granddaughter and best friend. Nice time to relax and make memories! The host were perfect and house was laid out and explained to a T!
Cute little house on the lake. We loved it. Very well stocked. Anything we needed we found. Great communication with owners. They even left some yummy snacks. The kids loved everything about this place. We recommend and if in the area would stay again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.
I stayed 6 nights and had no issues with the house or neighbors. The house itself is so charming, quiet and clean. They thought of everything for you. All the applianes were clean and ready to use. The bed was comfy as well. Communication with the owner was perfect. They were quick to reply with questions and help checking in. I will be coming back. Thank you
If you are looking for a quiet part of the lake with peaceful views - look no further!
Our group included 3 Mom and 3 teens and this stylishly decorated home (Rae Dunn fans should apply!) offered something for everyone. Kayaks for all, multiple shaded porches, and plenty comforts of home (labels on everything kept the guess work out). Owner was also super responsive to all of our questions too!
We chose this property because of it's location. Close to Dallas, but out of the city. That made it easy for us to get to our morning flights. We were only in Texas for the eclipse.
This house met and exceeded our expectations! Loreena has thought of everything to make a cozy, comfortable stay! The house is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors and lots of wildlife. We loved the location and were able to see the eclipse totality from the porch. Our grandson spent the rest of the day fishing from the dock.
Added bonus, we also got to meet with Loreena and her family. They are super nice and welcoming.
If we are ever in Texas again we would love to stay here. Highly recommend! Thank you for making our family trip special
101 Sundown truly is a little piece of heaven! Just what me & my partner needed. Surrounded by nature.. quiet.. you can hear the birds, watch the fish jump & watch the little turtles. We took the kayak out on the water almost everyday.
The place is very clean. So amazingly well stocked. Ample of supply of towels, quilts, cooking condiments, cleaning supplies, disposable dinnerware when youâre on the run.
It felt like home away from home!
The place has wonderful energy. The photo online do full justice.
Loreena was very kind & prompt to respond.
Would go back there in a heartbeat!
This property and host were amazing! By far the best VRBO weâve ever stayed in. It was clean, organized, had everything you could need in the kitchen, they even left us a few drinks in the fridge and some snacks to welcome us. There was a beautiful welcome book that tells you all about the area and the home. The house was immaculate! Although my husband and I went without the kids for a quiet get away, and it was PERFECT, we would also have a blast bringing the kids sometime; with kayaks and water gear available to use, fishing from the dock, hiking and parks nearby, itâs a fantastic family get away. Id recommend eating in, we enjoyed cooking at the house and the local food is expensive and nothing to rush out for. Get the grocery discount card for the local store and your costs go WAY down, we did learn it takes approximately 24 hours for your account to go into effect but the cashier kindly gave us the discounted price that day. We purchased minnows at the gas and marina on the road that crosses the lake, they were so friendly, bring cash for fueling up there to help support local business (they only do prepay because theyâve had issues with people manipulating the credit card readers at the pumps, although it was an extra step, we did not mind because they were protecting their patrons). We absolutely relished in the slow pace at the lake, coffee on the dock, fishing off the pier, a peacefully lit outdoor space at night and birds, turtles and fish to observe.
We're Lake Life Ambassadors. We love getting away to the Lakehouse where life slows down and what's important to us, family & spending time together really comes alive. We can't always be there, we want to share our Lakehouse with others so others get to enjoy some quiet times from the busy everyday life.
We fell in love with our Lakehouse the minute we stepped into it. We love the BIG WINDOWS overlooking the deck and water. It's located on a quiet channel where it's away from the lake where it can be busy and loud during high lake season. Our kids are a little older so we let them kayak on their own. This quiet channel allows us to let them hang out by themselves while we know there are no busy boat and jet ski activities. This Lakehouse is located in a beautiful neighborhood with great neighbors.
We know what it feels like to have to check out before the day really starts so we offer a "late" 2pm check out if your booking ends on a Sunday. Our Lakehouse is located on a quiet channel, away from busy lake activities. Our guests get to use our kayaks. Life vests must be worn at all times.
