Your fur babies will love the 2800 square foot fenced yard, as you relax in the 5 person hot tub or cook smores around the fire pit! Move inside to the pet friendly/comfortable recliner sofa and loveseat or read a book by the outdoor wood burning fireplace. Bedrooms on all three levels, spacious kitchen, pool table, and private balcony! Paws and enjoy!

The Space:
Take a Paws was specifically designed for families that love their dogs as much as we love ours and everyone else’s. A ton of love went into the design, wanting to make sure it was easy and welcoming for our guests. From the large fenced yard, saw blade floors, pet friendly furniture, large dog crate, dog bowls, leashes, treats, waste bags and multiple references throughout the cabin to all the love and memories dogs bring in our life!

The cabin is special to us and honors so many pets that our family has enjoyed over the years. Two special drawings from our son’s girlfriend, bless the living room: Chance and Sadie. Sadly, our Chancy left us two years ago but he lives in our memories and heart forever! The downstairs has a wall tribute to Karla’s father and stepmother naming the 31 dogs they rescued during their marriage. Just our way of sharing our family with yours!

A huge bonus, we will allow large dogs and multiple dogs, with approval. And to be honest, we rarely don’t approve. The roads/neighborhood are very walkable with plenty of sites and sounds to enjoy!

Now, on to the cabin!

Entering the cabin, you will notice the cathedral ceilings, open space, and the feeling of home! The furniture provides that farmhouse cabin feel with comfort in mind.

There are two living areas to enjoy. The main level has a gas fireplace, 55” smart TV, cable, sound bar, reclining sofa and loveseat, and rocking chair. It is a great area to gather to catch the big game, or to watch your favorite show or movie! The other living area is on the lower level and features a pool table, twin trundle bed, additional seating area, wet bar with mini frig, 55” smart TV, cable, and gas fireplace.

The main level features a fully equipped kitchen featuring mat black appliances including: electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave and side/side refrigerator. There is also a large pantry for plenty of storage. The area is very spacious with a separate dinging area with an Amish dining table (6), two bar stools and access to the balcony.

The main level balcony has a wood burning fireplace (firewood provided), wicker porch furniture, picnic table and gas grill with a direct line hooked to the main gas tank. The balcony overlooks the fenced yard and fire pit area.

Sleeping arrangements include:
-Main level - king master suite, large bathroom with shower, TV, and balcony access.
-Upper level - large king master suite, bathroom with shower, TV, work station and private balcony!
-Lower level - queen bedroom, TV and easy access to the full bathroom (tub/shower) across the hall!

The fenced backyard, with over 2,800 square feet of area, has plenty of room for your pet and children to play. You can take a short stroll to the creek at the bottom of the property. Relax in the glider swing on the bottom level and enjoy what nature has to offer. A 5 person hot tub is also available for your enjoyment and has a privacy wall.

The property has parking on two levels. Two parking spaces are available at the top of the driveway and two parking spaces in front of the cabin. The top parking spaces are a very short walk down the driveway. Four wheel or AWD is not necessary to access the property. The roads leading to the cabin are newly paved offering very smooth access.

After the day's activities, the kids can enjoy a game of pool, play cards, build a puzzle or cozy up on the couch to watch a movie in front of the fireplace.

The adults can relax by the upstairs fireplace, reading, watching the big game or binge watching their favorite show on Netflix.

Guest Access:
Access is via keyless entry. A check-in code will be provided 1 day prior to arrival. Checkout code will be provided the day before with instructions.

The entire cabin is available to the guest with the exception of the owners closet

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge with paved access to the cabin and paved circular driveway. Four wheel drive is not necessary to access the property.

This property is conveniently located minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and other attractions including: Mercier Orchards, Blue Ridge Adventure Park, Aska region, shopping, restaurants, white water rafting, tubing, horseback riding, and much more. Privacy:
Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owner's privacy and comply with private property signs.

Pets:
Dogs only - All dogs must be kept on a leash when outside. Poop bags and dog bowls are provided for your furry family members. Our specified rules are two dogs under 50 lbs. However, per our description, we will take multiple dogs and large dogs with approval.

Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is provided on Tuesday and Friday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the trash cans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen neighbors.

This property is a NO SMOKING property of any kind.
