Unwind at this peaceful, luxury cabin tucked in the hills of Mineral Bluff featuring seasonal mountain views, modern amenities, and memories to last a lifetime. Relax in 1 of the 3 bedroom suites with 3 private bathrooms or wander the streets exploring both downtown Blue Ridge and McCaysville, located less than 15 minutes away. At night, retreat to the upper level and gaze at the twinkling constellations under a cozy blanket as you enjoy the warmth of the outdoor fireplace.

The main level features 2 bedroom suites (1 queen bed, 1 king bed). A decked out bunk room (sleeps six!) is located on the lower level.

The main level features a gourmet kitchen with waffle bar, dining room, family room, and 2 bedroom suites with bathrooms. When you wake up, the fully stocked kitchen is ready for you to prepare all your favorite meals. This newly built cabin features a brand new stainless steel oven, gas stove, microwave, and refrigerator with an ice maker. Other appliances include a Crockpot, waffle maker, toaster, blender, keurig & drip coffee maker, Moka pot espresso maker, and all the cookware necessary to make a gourmet meal. A washer and dryer are located on the first level and a gas grill is also available. The main level also features a covered deck, highlighted by a wood-burning outdoor fireplace and sitting area.

The lower level boasts all the entertainment you need and a third bedroom suite (fully loaded bunk room that sleeps six in two bunk beds with two additional trundle beds) with a new Xbox Series S with Game Pass Unlimited. The brand new 70” TV with surround sound is perfect for the big game or family movie night. Enjoy a game night in with the brand new pool table, ping pong and board games.

Step outside to enjoy the hot tub surrounded by lush trees. This cabin includes 3 acres to for you and your group to explore! Ample outside games to try, including cornhole, Giant Jenga and bocce ball.

- The indoor gas fireplace is turned off May-August. The outdoor fireplace is available year round.

Amazing stay!

We had an amazing time at this cabin! Hosts are incredibly welcoming and responsive to any issues. They welcomed us with all the goodies for needed for smores. We mentioned a few things were missing (waffle mix, batteries for remotes, and grill brush) and within a few hours, replacements arrived. They even sent St Patty’s Day goodies! I would definitely go back!

Perfect Family Getaway

We came after Christmas to have a quick family getaway. There's a little bit of everything for all people in your party. Game room downstairs is perfect for older kids. Board games and xbox was a hit as well. The hot tub and fireplaces were a hit with us adults. The waffle bar made for a great breakfast one morning. Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Would definitely return.

My family of 9 had a wonderful stay! We loved the downstairs game area and used the ping pong and pool table every day. The rooms were all spacious and a great fit for our group. The house was very private but a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge.

Wonderful vacation at Forest Bluff

We are so glad we rented this property for our vacation. It was exactly what we were looking for. Super clean, convenient to get to, beautifully decorated and perfect for our family of 9. It’s warm and cozy but large enough to spread out if we wanted to. The property was beautiful and it was great for our dogs too! Claire was so great to work with. I would love to stay again sometime in the future.

This cabin had ALL the Bells and Whistles so clean and comfortable we had everything to make life comfortable and you never want to leave lol!! If I have to say one thing is that maybe clean the patio and furniture a bit before guests arrive but otherwise it’s a beautiful stay and we will definitely return!! Fun times with family

This is a wonderful property with a great location. Close to town to purchase food for the grill on the wrap around deck with fireplace or great to check out the restaurants nearby. I can not describe in enough detail to explain how accommodating Claire was. I contacted her multiple times and she was awesome in handling various situations. I would highly recommend to stay here on your next visit to the Occee area.

Thanksgiving

My husband and I rented Forrest Bluff the weekend prior to Thanksgiving, through Thanksgiving day. Claire was very helpful to answer all my questions and within a few minutes of sending them. We were very comfortable with our stay and with everything Forrest Bluff had to offer. The weather was chilly, but the outdoor porch fireplace and hot tub kept us warm. The house was beautiful and just as pictured in the photos. We can't wait to plan another trip up.

Best overall experience

To all those that are looking for a trip where all of it is in included and look no further. I’ll only was a host so easy to work with. But they had someone come on site to ensure the property was great when we checked it. And man did she think of it all everything you can think I was in that cabin to keep us entertained . From additional kitchen supplies additional cleaning supplies additional products for south care to a thoughtful as several additional things for dogs. I’ve been traveling for 15 years to the Blue Ridge Mountains in this by far was my favorite stay .

Lovely stay with a couple quirks.

Hard location to get to only because you can only use apple maps which doesnt 100% get you there which was fine the host wrote back immediately and helped us get to the right place. How very nice. Older kids loved everything you could. Was a little disappointed there wasnt as much firewood as was shown on pictures so we couldnt do a long fire but did do a small one for the smores provided. The trash was also full i guess from other people who stayed so was kinda hard to make sure we took all our trash out lol but overall fine. And only other thing i can think of is there definitely needed to be more trash cans as far as i recall there was only one in the kitchen. But overall very nice stay and we really appreciate the both of you.

Best cabin retreat ever!

This was by far the best cabin rental or even VRBO experience I’ve ever had. Claire is top notch: extremely responsive, compassionate and accommodating. We rented for the weekend and my only issue is I wish our stay could have been longer. The home is very clean, extremely well appointed and there is no little detail overlooked. We weren’t the easiest guests to accommodate as we had lots of questions, requests and even had to make changes at the last minute as one of the couples in our group couldn’t make it. Claire was ALWAYS accommodating, kind and made every effort to ensure our comfort and happiness. We were so thrilled with the home and overall experience, we may come back every year for this retreat. We had everything we needed and never had to leave the home. It was peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and spacious. We give it a 10/10!

Fun and Relaxing Getaway

We had a wonderful time! Here are some of the things we enjoyed most about our stay: Taking walks around the beautiful neighborhood and spotting deer. Listening to the rain fall on the trees from the outside deck. Enjoying the nicely decorated and furnished home which included modern amenities. Making waffles and s’mores (the host provided everything needed). Getting to enjoy a vacation with my fur babies (they had a blast, too). Spending hours on the peaceful deck and listening to the crackling fireplace at night. Relaxing in the hot tub while gazing at the forest. Completing a jigsaw puzzle in the family room. Playing ping pong and pool downstairs. Visiting ProjectChimps (fairly close to the property) and getting to hear the chimps while we walked on a beautiful trail. Enjoying riding on the nearby, scenic roads with pastures of cows, horses, and donkeys and also hearing the frogs near streams at night…amazing! Sleeping in very comfortable beds with cozy comforters.

Perfect family stay

This house checks all the boxes! Super clean and comfortable. All the supplies and conveniences, even extra thoughtful ones. The location was beautiful and convenient (we loved downtown Blue Ridge), and the dogs had a great time exploring the woods. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The entertainment options were exceptional. Personal favorites: huge washer and dryer, outdoor fireplace, well-supplied kitchen, cute and comfy blankets everywhere. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful new cabin!

Our family enjoyed our relaxing week in this beautiful and very CLEAN cabin!!! It’s even nicer than the pictures. We loved the location and taking walks in this new neighborhood. The cabin has everything you could possibly need. Claire has an eye for detail! She also gave us great recommendations! We absolutely loved our dinner at Chester Brunnenmeyers Bar and Grill. The ribs and wings are amazing! While I shopped my husband enjoyed playing pinball at Vertigo Pinball. They charge by the hour. The cabin is about 15 minutes away from downtown Blue Ridge. And not far from White water rafting and zip lining. Blue Ridge Lake is not far. Next time we will rent a boat or kayaks and have lunch at the restaurant on the lake. We would also one to come back during apple picking season. We ended up spending most nights at the cabin. The downstairs area is perfect for kids! “family time”. Our kids were off their devices playing pool, ping pong, watching movies and relaxing in the hot tub. I enjoyed having coffee in mornings on the back porch over looking the woods. We spotted several deer. Thank you Claire and Michael for your hospitality. We will definitely come back❤️

Get Away and Relax!

This was our first trip to the Blue Ridge area and we had a wonderful experience at this cabin! It is fairly new, completely updated, and clean. There are just a few cabins nearby so you really do have privacy. Great communication from our host Claire. We loved that the kitchen had everything we would need and we cooked the entire time we were there. Our absolute favorite spot was the back deck. The stone fireplace is beautiful and we enjoyed chilling out there in the early mornings and late evenings. We would go back in a heartbeat! I wish all VRBO's were this nice!

Not only was this cabin and area absolutely beautiful, but to top it off the hosts are amazing! They knew I was going for my bachelorette trip and they decorated the place for me as a surprise, they went above and beyond to make sure it was very special! I definitely recommend staying here!

The cabin has two family rooms- so it's easy for larger groups to spread out.
