Photos updated May 2024. This gorgeous Hilltop Villa is surrounded by breathtaking views of the countryside and Lake Travis making it great for your next get away! This Villa has easy access to all the multiple resort style amenities the Hollows community has to offer. From infinity edge pools, to 8+ miles of hike/bike/golf cart trails, a fitness center and marina. Onsite restaurant and bar with poolside service. Golf cart (4 seater) is available for guests to rent during their stay. You will truly feel like you are at a luxury resort!
This 2 bedroom/2 bath villa is just over 1,000 sq. ft. and sleeps 6 making it perfect for a family vacation or a romantic get away for a couple. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen (no food) with new oven, microwave, fridge, washer and dryer. Backing up to a wooded area you will love how private the patio is! With 3 sitting areas on the patio you can have your breakfast outside while relaxing, drinking your morning coffee, and watching the birds. The Master bedroom has king bedding and access to the patio. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and there is a full sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The villa also offers a designated work space with high speed internet.
The Hollows has two large areas for gilling/smoking meals. One area is the Hilltop Smokehouse which is located at the highest point of the Hollows and just walking distance away (0.2 miles, according to google maps). This is a great place for family gatherings. It has covered seating with a large fire pit, grill, smoker, trash cans, sink, electricity, and restrooms. It's a wonderful place to stay a while and take in the views while watching a breathtaking sunset. Grill utensils & thermometer are provided in the condo.
Take a scenic walk to the lake on a beautiful paved nature trail that takes you to a Lake Travis Cove near the Beach Club. At the Beach Club you will find the 2nd Grill/smoker area, an infinity edge pool over looking Lake Travis, children's pool, seasonal spa/hot tub (heated in winter months only), fitness center with new equipment, pickle ball court, amphitheater, and access to the lake. The fitness center has a variety of equipment to meet your needs. With cardio equipment such as treadmills, bike, and ellipticals, smith machine, cable weights, free weights and an incline bench you wont have to miss a workout while away from home! (The beach club and fitness center are 1.2 miles from the condo by street.)
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING IN THIS SECTION!! Important FAQ's...
*Those renting longer than 30 days do not have to pay resort fees or ANY short term rental taxes! We also charge a reduced rate for 30+day bookings. Please message owner prior to booking for longer stays! We tend to only allow Mid Term Rentals (30+ days) in the fall through spring months, not in the summer months.
*We love sharing our home with others, but the Hardin Hilltop Villa is literally a 2nd home for our family, it's not just a rental property. Therefore, we are selective of who can rent and when, and we do not accept instant bookings. Our family is at the condo almost every week. Because of this, we know the exact condition of our condo, our golf cart, and what items are in the home. The condo is checked by the owner and a walk-through video is made prior to EVERY check in. All items in the condo are there for our renters to enjoy and use as needed. However, everything that was in the condo at check-in, should remain in the condo at checkout! Please do to take home our towels, decor, or supplies! (Soaps, coffee, paper towels , TP, etc.) We ask our renters to treat our home as if it was their own and leave the condo in the condition it was found.
*The condo is 1.2 miles from the beach club and 1.4 miles from the marina. The Lago Vista golf course is 7.6 miles away from condo.
*The condo does NOT have a view of the water from the condo, it has a private patio with a wooded view from the patio.
*There is a rarely used privately owned helicopter pad located behind the condo building.
*The Condo is NOT in Austin, it is a good 35 miles to Austin. The closest areas for food, gas, etc. are the small towns of Lago Vista and Jonestown.
*The closest larger city is Cedar Park.
**The lake water levels are currently very low as we have been in a drought, therefore ALL boat ramps in the area are closed.
*The condo is in the hill country and near water, therefore expect to see native wildlife and critters.
*The onsite restaurant & bar at the Beach Club "The Wild Hare" has seasonal hours. Summer months the hours are usually Tuesday through Thursday & Sunday 11am-8pm, Friday and Saturday 11am-10pm (starting ~May 9th), these hours can change.
*During the winter months the restaurant is closed starting Sept 29th.
*All pools close at 10PM daily.
*The trailhead club pool is reserved for lap swim only 6am-9am daily.
*The hot tub is heated seasonally on weekends from Friday morning to Monday morning through memorial day weekend, after that it is not heated during the summer. The HOA starts heating the hot tub during the winter after the temperature outside has dropped.
*The pools are not heated at any time during the year. *We have RokuTV's so you can stream your TV apps and will automatically be signed out of your apps at check out.
*We do not provide any paid for TV apps or TV channels.
*The garage is a single car garage, but there is additional parking in front of the building.
*We are on the first floor so there are no steps to get into the condo or inside the condo. There is one very small step up in the garage to the golf cart area.
*Because we are on the first floor, you may hear people in the 2nd floor unit from time to time.
*We do allow 1 dog for an added fee.
*Our Golf cart (4 seater) is available for added fee.
*If you have allergies or sensitivities to scents, cleaning products or dogs please talk with the owner prior to booking. We are a dog friendly rental.
*If you need early check in or late checkout contact the host, it may or may not be available. We DO NOT charge extra for adjusted check in & out times.
*Please note, there is a cleaning fee, daily resort fee, VRBO fees, and hotel tax when booking. The host has no control over these additional charges and cannot change them. All of the cleaning fee goes to the cleaners and the resort fee goes to the HOA to pay for you to use the amenities. The hotel tax is divided by the city and state, 7% is charged by the city of Jonestown and 6% is charged by the state of Texas.

We are the Hardins and have lived in the Austin area since 2006. We have been married for over 20 years, have 2 children, and 2 dogs. Our family loves the outdoors and frequently engages in activities such as camping, hiking, swimming and boating. This of course is what led us to The Hollows. From the bottom of our heart, we hope you enjoy your time in our home and enjoy all the amenities the area has to offer!
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We love the Hollows neighborhood because it is so beautiful! With every turn driving there are beautiful views of the countryside and the lake. We love the wildlife! We've seen deer, multiple types of birds (including humming birds), guinea, foxes, and a few types of rabbits! We love the nature on the walk to the beach club and are so excited to now have a golf cart we can offer as an option to our renters. Just to the left of the condo is a walking path that takes you all the way to the water.
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
Our condo is recently painted with updated furniture and appliances. We have a very private patio looking into a wooded area. We have added leaf accent walls to our patio along with a dart board and bartop. We provide games, a few books, 2 kayaks, and lots of items to help with your trip. Items such as, ice chest, wagon on wheels, pool noodles, pool bag, grill utensils, birdseed and more! We strive to provide everything you will need during your stay.
