THE SPACE

This 1BR/1BA unit looks out on Atlantic Avenue and the city of Virginia Beach beyond. The resort itself is oceanfront, sitting right on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, and you are just steps away from the Beach.

Enjoy your coffee in the morning and beverage of choice in the evening from your own private balcony. Units with City Views are great for enjoying coffee in the morning because the heat and glare of the sun doesn't chase you off your balcony by 7:30am each morning, they provide great sunset views, and they provide enjoyable and visually interesting views in the evenings looking up or down the stretch of Atlantic Avenue when the lights come on.

This unit comes with a Fully equipped Kitchen, which includes Stove, Oven, Full sized Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee Maker, etc. At the end of each day, gather the family together to prepare a meal or whip up a quick snack for watching your favorite movie. There is a Dining table to fit four (4).

The Living Room includes a Queen size sleeper sofa, or you can retreat to the privacy of your bedroom, which features a Queen-size bed, and a full Bathroom with a jetted tub.

Please note that this listing includes multiple weeks available. The photos reflect the interiors of several different units you might be assigned, depending on which specific week you book. However, these units all have the same basic floorplan, with the general decor and layout reflected in the photos. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

GUEST ACCESS

Your unit is private, but since this is a Resort Hotel property, amenities will be shared with other guests (Pools, Hot Tub, Gym, etc)

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.

- Boardwalk Resort & Villas is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Vacation Club / Diamond Resorts. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.

- Check In time is 4:00pm (or after) and check out time is 10:00am. Please check with the resort Front Desk for any possibility of earlier unit availability and / or early use of the resort amenities during check-in days.

- Please note that once you Check In and get access to your unit, if you encounter any issues or concerns regarding Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc…please contact the Front Desk / Office IMMEDIATELY. The staff members on-site provide the best opportunity to get any concerns resolved in the fastest and most efficient manner.

- Please note that some of the photos may not be from the specific unit you will be assigned. However, they do reflect the general layout you can expect from various locations in the unit.

- This is a FLOATING unit type. What that means is that you are guaranteed a CITY VIEW 1BR/1BA facing Atlantic Ave as depicted in the photos. Your unit location (High or Low floor, etc) will be determined at Check In. You may also call the Front Desk ahead of time about 7-10 days before Check-In and request a certain unit location. Although you can never be guaranteed a specific location the Front Desk will usually try to accommodate requests if they can.

- One FREE parking pass is included with this unit. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee.

- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.

- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.

- Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all provided. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed. There is also a Harris Teeter grocery store conveniently located within a few minutes from the facility if you want to shop for any groceries or personal items you want during your stay.

- Utensils, Dishes, and some basic Pots and Pans are provided. If something appears to be missing, you can contact the Front Desk and possibly get it dropped off (if they have it). However, if you plan on cooking a lot of meals inside your unit, or plan any special dishes, I do recommend bringing your favorite Large Frying pan (or Large Sauté Pan, Wok, Crockpot, etc, etc) for cooking. This way you will have something you are comfortable using and you will know exactly how things will cook in it. You may also want to bring your favorite Kitchen knife(s) for food prep.

- Bath and Hand towels are provided for you and will be inside your unit when you arrive.

- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However, the Front Desk can provide a vacuum, or broom and dustpan, to use in your unit if you wanted it. Washers and Dryers are also available (at no additional charge) on alternating floors for guests to use if desired. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the Front Desk.

- Pool / Beach towels are not provided. Each family should bring their own pool / beach towels

- You should bring your own Beach Chairs / Beach Blankets / Umbrellas / Coolers / Equipment you want to use on the beach. If you don’t bring your own stuff, you are able to rent Beach chairs / Umbrellas in the Town of Duck, or during most summer weeks on the beach out in front of the facility.

- If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Virginia Beach was designed with a special bike path along the Boardwalk to cater to bike riders. It's possible to use bikes as your main means of transportation during the week to travel up and down the Boardwalk, and around town. Remember to take your bike locks so you can lock up your bikes at the bike rack each night.

- There is a Virginia Beach Coupon booklet available pretty much everywhere in vending type machines along Atlantic Ave, including the Front Desk / Lobby at pretty much all the properties in VB. In this booklet you can find some coupons that offer decent discounts on food, entertainment, and equipment purchases (like bike rentals if you are not able to bring your own).

- Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest who will check in along with an email address.

- This is a timeshare resort but attending a presentation or taking a tour is NEVER required.
