Cute and cozy home near Duke and Downtown Durham in The Forest Hills area. Amazing restaurants just a few blocks away! Very convenient to Duke Hospital and Duke University. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome for a fee of $87/two dogs per stay. Sorry no cats allowed.

This charming home has 3 bedrooms (1king and 2 queen), 1.5 baths. Beautiful new kitchen. Great outdoor space. Fireplace.

I live in Durham and am just a phone call or text away.

Great restaurants just blocks away! Grub, Tyler's Taproom, Nana Steak, Tobacco Road Sports Bar all within 1.5 miles.
1.2 miles from Durham Performing Arts Center and 3.5 miles from Duke Hospital.
Many parks within walking distance. Lyon Park is one block from the house. 1.5 miles to Duke East Campus and 2 miles to Duke Hospital.
Great cozy home in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything!

Up to two behaved dogs are welcome for a fee of $87.00 per stay. No house parties!

The back yard can be soft if you get off of the rock driveway!! Do not pull around in a circle in the grass or you will get stuck. It is a pull in and pull out driveway only, not a turn around. Please do not park in the back if you are unable to pull back out.
Early/late checkout-in/out possibly available for $50.
No house parties and please respect the neighbors and the property. Please park behind the house or on the street (do not block the shared driveway).

Andrea was an incredible communicator. Responses were always within minutes. She was accommodating of special requests. The property is exactly as listed. An older house but has been updated nicely. Very clean. Can’t beat the proximity to Duke if that’s on your agenda. Super nice touch that it was decorated for Christmas. Would for sure stay again.

Perfect location for visit to Duke

Great house in lovely residential neighborhood. Close to Duke’s campus. Stayed with our dog who loved the many parks within walking distance and the State Parks a short drive away.

We came to Durham to tour some colleges and this house was perfect! Very close to Duke and lots of great restaurants! The house was nice and had all the amenities we could need. Excellent stay!

Cut house close to everything!

This charming house is much bigger than it appears. Spacious bedrooms and great location made for a perfect stay! Lots of games and cute backyard too (no fence fyi if you are traveling with your dog)

Perfect house for Thanksgiving visit to Durham

The house was comfortable, very clean, with everything in working order. I appreciated the special touches for our dogs - a bed, blanket, and water and food dishes. We were only one block from our family who lives in Durham, and it was a great location for dog walking.

Sweet little house in a great location

We loved staying here over Easter Weekend. The house is perfect for a small group, including two not-so-small dogs. The neighborhood is friendly with a park just down the street. Easy access to just about anywhere you need to be in Durham and beyond.

Comfortable home. Beds are a little hard and no cable TV. Other than that it was a great stay.

Had an excellent time in NC. Went tri multiple basketball games. The house is in a decent neighborhood absolutely no issues getting around. Would stay here again.

Traveling to Duke Hospital

We traveled to the area as our daughter was having surgery at Duke Hospital. Andrea, our host was extremely accommodating to our needs. Our trip was longer than anticipated and Andrea was there to help us out each time. We could not be happier with this location and the great hospitality Andrea provided. This place will be our #1 with our next visit!

Charming neighborhood and location

We were in town for a wedding at the Duke Chapel and the location of this home couldn't have been better. So convenient to many restaurants and shops. We had 4 adults and 2 infants and had plenty of space. Comfortable beds and linens, and very clean. Basic cable channels and an improved coffee machine would have been appreciated. Would rent again!

The roku is nice with Netflix and Hulu but your right that local channels would be nice too! I actually have a larger keurig at the house and I was planning to switch out the coffee makers so it will be better for your next trip! Enjoyed hosting you!

Lovely home for our weekend

Perfect home for the weekend. You must take a walk through Forrest Hills, it’s beautiful with so many birds, squirrels, and bunnies! Everything in the home was clean, shower water pressure was amazing!! I would definitely stay here again. My only suggestion is softer light bulbs to allow for more comfortable lighting at night. Neighborhood is quiet, close to everything.

Well run rental, with some issues

The house presents well with upgrades such as the gravel rear parking area, exterior paint, LVF flooring, and hand picked decor. The bedrooms are big, with comfortable beds. However, walking in the door you are hit with an unpleasant odor of mold/mildew covered with a heavy floral air freshener scent. The air freshener is so strong that it gives you a headache and permeates all your belongings. It has been two weeks since our stay and I still have clothing that I cannot get the smell out of. It’s in the air and seems to be sprayed on the bed linens as well. Overall, it’s a nice place in what I would call a transitional neighborhood that seems a little dicey in parts. The living room was uncomfortable, with a couch past it’s useful life and a that TV needs to be about 20 inches larger, but it was decent enough for a short stay. The bedrooms are the best place in the house and very comfortable if it weren’t for the air freshener.
