And everything you need to cook...or not ...and relax by the fire! Come, relax, Enjoy!
Great stay. Loved that there were so many activities so close. Such a beautiful area. Would like to come back in the Fall to see the leaves turning colors.
House is very nice and host provided hotel grade extras-lush towels, shampoo, soaps etc. Very clean and move in ready. Host communicates very well. Only set back is there is a lot of road noise from 19-including at night.
Place was clean and had nice homey touches. Beds were very comfortable and Deonna had towels, paper needs and toiletries available for use. A little difficult to find but if you remember Airport road, itâs easy. Easy access to lake, marina and restaurants. Deonna responds very quickly. We would stay here again.
The house is beautiful and well kept. This was my first time going somewhere and not going to a hotel and I am glad we did this. It was nice not having to worry about anything and having plenty of room for everyone to spread out and do their thing. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle free stay.
Had a wonderul time here for Christmas and New Years! Very accommodating and friendly!
Everything was nice and clean. They made it extra special for us by decorating for Christmas, it was beautiful! Our first night there it snowed, Deona checked on us to make sure we were good. Thanks to you and your crew for doing a great job!! We will be coming back again.
Beautiful place, very clean, great garage for our motorcycles. We met to surprise a guy we were stationed with in Germany and hadnât seen in 35 years and this was an awesome place. Loved the outdoor space for hanging out and catching up. Had everything we needed for our two night stay. Had read a previous review about the steep driveway and asked the owner about this (with motorcycle) ,, after getting here it was a piece of cake , the driveway is maintained very well to accommodate motorcycles.Love the furnishings. And beds were super comfy after riding for 9 hours for two days to get here
We had a wonderful stay with my husband, myself and our daughters and granddaughter stayed with us a couple of nights.
House is comfortable with enough space for all of us, without feeling crowded. Beds are comfy and water pressure in showers are perfect. Water can be hot if you like it hot.
Kitchen is stocked with cookware and utensils needed to cook for the family. Freezer has ice trays to fill and have ice as needed.
Living area has comfortable sofa and two chairs, one is a recliner. It is so comfy, that i order the exact same one for my home. Televison has good selection of channels, Netflix, Free TV, all the internet-based channels you can want.
Parking outside the garage doors for 2 cars, we did see neighbors outside but it was quiet. You do have road noise from the highway from the front porch of the house but when the doors and windows are closed, you do not hear this. Even is you are sitting outside it is not bad, you can still hear the birds and squirrel while enjoying your coffee in the morning.
I have this house marked as our "Home to Stay in" when we visit our daughters and granddaughter. And hope to stay again here soon.
We are looking forward to our next visit.
Rented the property so we could check into West Virginia for retirement. The bungelow was extremely clean and very comfortable. The central location was an asset in traveling to different locations to view homes.
Deona helped us in so many ways. I can't thank her enough. She went way above and beyond as a host.
The home was lovely, if a little difficult to find. To be fair I do not have an account set up with VRBO which is where all of the info was posted. When I called the host she was wonderful with her information. It is extremely close to Summersville Lake in a beautiful setting of the Appalachian Mountains. Hospitality abounded in small touches throughout the house. Kindness, consideration and helpfulness are the words to describe
This was a great weekend to visit with our daughter that had moved to the area 4 months prior. Home was comfortable and spacious (I looked under the recliner for the make and model, i need one in my home!). Towels sets were pure luxury!! I have never stayed where they were so sumptuous.
We did realize there are no steak knives, so if you do steak (we did) you will use cooking knives (this was fine, we are adults and know how to share)
Driveway is steep and has fresh gravel, my daughter wasn't able to drive up the 1st time (wasn't sure if it was the correct home, new driveway) but Deona came right over and drover her car up the hill, after that my daughter was fine, she just had to "gun" it as it is a smaller car.
We will definitely keep this location on our list of places to stay when we visit the area again.
There is a great ice-cream shop a few minutes down the road at the campground, just be prepared for amazing ice-cream and huge portions
We are as close as you get to Salmon Run Entrance for ease of lake access! A great kitchen, large covered porches and a grill, firepit and comfy beds with good linens. Wifi, Roku TV and very comfy furniture!
Walk to the lake. Access the Summersville Marina to rent boats without even going onto RT.19. Close to miniature golf @ campground and hiking trails. Quick access to Summersville conveniences.
