There’s a difference between “dog friendly” and a place that is near lots of dogs. I kid you not there were no less than seven dogs on the two neighboring properties and they had 3 foot fences. Dogs barking all throughout the night, lunging at my dogs when we walked out of the house. My poor pups were traumatized, one threw up from the stress. Also the place was dirty. We found a massive roach during our stay and had to contain it with a bowl. Doors were flimsy and there’s weird nasty crawl spaces. Just a little unsettling. Oh also you have to enter through a communal hallway and had we gone through at the wrong time without checking there absolutely would’ve been a dog fight. Would not recommend if you have dogs

I appreciate your response. The neighbors do have dogs and unfortunately, I can’t control when they’re outside and barking. We do allow pets as a courtesy to our customers. The unit was cleaned thoroughly before you arrived and my cleaners did send pictures of everything when they were done. I apologize that you saw a roach. It’s summer and sometimes bugs come out, but I will get my pest control to come out and spray again to help the situation. We do have the utility room that houses the AC and the furnace. It is not a crawlspace and does not lead anywhere. I’m not sure what you meant by flimsy doors. I realize the doors to the utility room are just sliding doors. The bathroom door and the main entrance door are perfectly fine and lock properly.

This unit was good overall and had a reasonable price. Communication was excellent.Pro’s: the unit was very roomy and comfortable. It was was private with a private entrance. It had your basic needs, queen beds, couch, dining room table, A/C, Keurig, refrigerator, microwave and smart TV (Netflix etc.). The bathroom is roomy, had good water pressure and had clean towels (enough for two people). There is a washer and dryer up the stairs from the unit. There is street parking and had no issues. The rental is very near many restaurants and the university, which is nice. Check in and check out was a breeze. Con’s: Structure is older. The utility “closet” that stores electrical is off the bathroom, dusty, keep it closed. The refrigerator was cool but should be checked as it wasn’t as cold as I would expect it to be, even on the highest setting. With a basement apartment it is more susceptible to bugs. You are in El Paso…desert…in the summer. Not many, but I recommend getting bug traps. The neighbors have dogs. Barking doesn’t bother me, but dogs will bark. If you bring your dog, keep them on the leash as there is a common stairway area. The path on the side of the house is narrow, so beware neighboring dogs. RE:cleanliness, there were some aspects of it that could have been cleaner. I noticed the chairs and the couch could probably use a steam clean. The bathroom could use a new shower curtain as it is noticeably used. Overall this unit was good and communication was great!THX!

Great location and accommodation

Overall great location, smooth check in process, and a nice space to escape the heat. I appreciated the very comfortable beds and room to spread out. Multiple AC units kept us cool. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the space was not great (crumbs, hair, coffee spills, and leftover food in the fridge) and the upstairs, communal washer and dryer are very loud. Overall it wasn’t bad for our one night stay.

It was the perfect place for my weekend. I was in town visiting my daughter at Fort Bliss. The beds were comfortable, plenty of space. The fridge could have been cleaner but we only used it for water bottles. We were out and about most of the time. The first night there was a chirp from smoke alarm upstairs that kept me up but when I messaged the owner on the app they fixed it the next day. I will definitely stay there again if I visit El Paso again.

We were in El Paso for a wedding and really enjoyed our time in the city! This property's location is excellent for being near downtown, and the parking was incredibly convenient. We also had great nights of sleep because the beds were very comfortable. Courtney was a lovely host. very responsive and nice to deal with throughout our stay.However, we did run into several issues that made the stay difficult. There were some cleanliness concerns, like hair on the dining table/floors and gum left in the shower. We also encountered a few maintenance problems: multiple outlets didn't work, and there’s a small, unmarked step at the entrance that we tripped on several times. We also didn't have a TV remote at first, and when we got one, it didn't work, so we had to cast from our phones. We had a good trip overall, but the property just needs some deep cleaning and minor fixes to really match the high quality of the host's service.

Everything as listed on post. Clean . Owner nice and stays in front very nice. Great place honestly. Only thing would be the beds weren’t as comfortable. You would roll to the middle of the bed no matter how hard you tried Nitto. New beds might be needed but other than the place was great

The property is good with only one flaw. The owner is terrific and communicates well. The issue is the construction of the bathroom. The toilet sits almost underneath the sink, making it very difficult to use for a person over 6 foot tall. With a bit of rework in the bathroom, this will be a terrific rental. Of course, for folks under 6 feet tall, the current bathroom is likely no problem.
