Welcome to Beachcomber â Your Oceanfront Escape in Surf City, NC!
Nestled on beautiful Topsail Island, Beachcomber offers the ultimate beachfront getaway! Wake up to breathtaking ocean views, watch dolphins swim past, and enjoy the ever-changing colors of the sky and sea. Just step down the back stairs, cross the dune, and youâre on the beachâready for a day of sun, surf, and sand!
Comfortable & Inviting Accommodations
This oceanfront duplex townhome features a reverse floor plan with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and accommodations for 12 guests (10 in bedrooms + 2 on a queen sleeper sofa in the living room area). The home has been updated with granite kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities, new kitchen pantry for guest food storage, new lighting, new linens, new king mattresses, and new decor. Designed with a cheerful coastal vibe, it's ideal for large families, two smaller families, couplesâ getaways, or mother/daughter retreats. View the floor plan in the photos!

Two bunk rooms (twin-over-full bunk beds, private balcony overlooking courtyard). Please note each top bunk bed supports a maximum weight of approximately 135 lbs.

Beachcomber is conveniently located less than 1 mile from the Surf City Bridge and Pier. Walk to local restaurants, shops, and island attractions! Stroll along the beach and take public access to your favorite spots or explore the charming neighborhoods.
Shopping for Essentials: Surf City IGA is just after you cross the Surf City Bridge to the island, less than a mile from the house. Off island are Walmart Neighborhood Market, Food Lion, Publix, Dollar General, and CVS.
Explore Topsail Island â A Sea Turtle Sanctuary!
Topsail Island is home to nesting sea turtles (May-August) and hatchlings (July-October). Visit The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center to learn more (reserve tickets online)!

We provide a well-stocked house, but there are a few essentials you may want to pack or purchase once you arrive. We'll provide you our recommended list before your arrival.
Rental Agreement - A signed Rental Agreement is required for your booking to be complete. The guest who books the reservation must be the primary contact who signs the Rental Agreement and be present at the property throughout the reservation.
Security Deposit â A $395 hold will be placed on your credit card before arrival.
Stairs - Please be mindful there are many stairs here (some of which can be steep) - a flight to the front entry, a stairwell inside the home, and many deck stairs on the ocean side. There is also a dune to cross when accessing or leaving the beach, which is consistent with many oceanfront properties on the island.
Pets - 1 small dog allowed, over 12 months (no puppies). $250 pet charge, non-refundable. Up to date on all shots, free of fleas, housebroken, and zero bite history. No other pets. Please mention breed at booking. Guest must supply all pet supplies, and keep dog crated when left unattended in the house. Guest must agree to pet policy in Renter's Agreement.
Travel Insurance â Highly recommended! Please protect your trip against inclement weather, personal emergencies, and unforeseen disruptions. No refunds will be offered outside our posted policies. Per NOAA, hurricane season runs June 1 â Nov 30. Trip insurance is offered at booking.
