Summary:

Stunning views of the ocean and D River await at D Sands 213! This 1 bedroom, corner suite is perfect for an oceanfront getaway for 4 people. There's a King bed in the bedroom, and a queen murphy bed in the living room so you have space during the day. Enjoy the balcony view, or wander down to the easy beach access for some fun on the sand! The full kitchen has basic supplies for your convenience, or explore one of Lincoln City's local favorites for dinner. We also give access to the HOA's pool!



The Space:

Stunning views of the ocean and D River await at D Sands 213! This 1 bedroom, corner suite is perfect for an oceanfront getaway for 4 people. There's a king bed in the bedroom, and a queen Murphy bed in the living room so you have space during the day. Enjoy the balcony view, or wander down to the easy beach access for some fun on the sand! The full kitchen has basic supplies for your convenience, or explore one of Lincoln City's local favorites for dinner. We also give access to the HOA's pool!



Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.



This is a 2nd floor unit, there are 14 steps required to access the unit.

Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.



Interaction with Guests:

D Sands Rentals manages all 63 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

Expected more because of REMODELED STATEMENTS

We have stayed here many times — but now thru VRBO we paid more for much less and nothing remodeled— microwave has been glued — and doesn’t work well — carpet soiled with grease— no grab bars for safety — no stairway lights for night — accidents waiting to happen Love the location — hope things improve

Carol, thank you for the review of your recent stay in unit 213, Squiddy Corner. Several of our condos have already been remodeled or redecorated, but we manage 63 units at this location. We've had a few short months during the busiest time of year to make changes, and we're excited to be making more progress now. Each unit is also individually owned, and those owners are directing how much we remodel. If Squiddy Corner wasn't to your liking, there are several others that you may find more to your preference and for enjoying those amazing ocean views! Previous management did have an unsettling tendency to glue the microwave handles, and we're working on replacing those microwaves. I'll also let maintenance and groundskeeping know about the outside lights. Most of the staff leaves before dark, so thank you so much for bringing that to our attention! We also have a professional carpet cleaning company coming out several times this month to steam clean all the carpets. We love the location here too, and we have so many more projects planned now that we're a little more familiar with the property, all the owners, and every condo. I hope that despite everything, you were still able to relax and enjoy the ocean views, easy beach access, full kitchen, and the heated indoor pool. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review, and we hope that if you give us another chance, you'll find a unit that's worth every penny!

Not friendly front desk

Didn’t receive check-in email a week in advance. Didn’t have any WI-FI when we got there. Front desk lady was friendly until I asked about checking in, then became short and dismissive with me. Re-sent email, that she said I viewed the same day it was sent, but couldn’t retrieve the new email because no WI-FI. I finally stepped in to a spot that connected to WI-FI and phone started downloading everything. Also was really looking forward to the hot tub which was out of order while we were there. That was a sad day after walking up and down the beach all day and was really looking forward to a nice soak in some hot water. Room only has a shower and pool was warm but not hot to help the muscles. Great view from 213!!!
