Disappointed

Property building was misrepresented. The building had exposed pipes and electric work. Holes/gaps were in the flooring. Plastic coverings on what should have been walls. I was unable to access the apartment as the key did not work. I did not end up staying at the property.

Lovely spot, in a beautiful neighbourhood - Louis Blanc. Seconds from the St, Martin canal. Walkable. Transpo. Amazing family restaurants at finger tips. Greaty spot, would so book it again. Thanks

Exploring Paris

The apartment was very small, but clean. There was a stale cigarette odor. The bathroom was tiny. My shoulders touched the walls in the shower. The cabinet above the bathroom sink over hung the sink, making brushing your teeth difficult. The bed shown in the photo is actually a sofa bed and the person closest to the wall, ends up sleeping in a crack. You reach the 4th floor apartment by climbing a spiral staircase. The hallway is very narrow. There are floor jacks on both sides of the hallway making it more narrow than it already is. I was not sure if they are remodeling the building or just trying to make band aid repairs. There is no ceiling in the hallway and no light. We had to use our cell phones to be able to walk down the hallway in the evening.

Cozy and cute

The location was great, and the apartment was super cute and clean. I wouldn’t recommend more than two people especially if you have luggage’s. It is a small studio apartment but it’s good enough for two people. Also note that it is on the fourth floor, no elevator, and you have to go down a very narrow hallway to get to the apartment. Very typical Parisian Apartments style. The host was amazing and was always available and very helpful. The location was great close to the metro and there was a fabulous Italian restaurant right next-door. Also, to note the door is very close to the neighbours door and you can hear them going in and out. The neighbour does like to smoke with his door open, and because of the gap on the door, it sometimes does enter into the suite. He only did it once, and it wasn’t that bad once we opened the window to air it out.

Un casi ... pero no!

En primer lugar indicar que la vivienda es tal y como se ve en las fotos, y la entregan muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. El problema viene con los accesos al apartamento. Si miráis el anuncio, en ningún momento se indica que es una cuarta planta sin ascensor! Con lo que cuando llegué, casi tenemos que llamar para cancelar porque tengo una lesión fuerte en la rodilla, por lo que cada tramo de escalera me ha ido restando días de fuerza en la pierna. Igualmente, el pasillo que lleva al apartamento está con suelo provisional , con tablones , lo cual creaba cierta inseguridad. Finalmente, la televisión no funcionaba correctamente, lo reportamos inmediatamente pero no parecía que entendiesen el problema y no fue por el idioma. Fue prácticamente imposible ver la televisión ya que la imagen se iba y venía, fallaba la conexión y no vinieron a solucionarlo a pesar de haberlo dicho. Así que , podría haber sido perfecto, pero lamentablemente no lo ha sido. No repetiría. Lo siento!

Great location, small and four flights of stairs

Excellent communication with Maikel. Very helpful and no problems there. Walkable from Gard Du Nord, take 10-15 mins if you are of average fitness. Closest metro is Louis Blanc half a block away The place is up four flights of stairs and corridors are narrow. So not good if you’re elderly or infirmed. We knew this already so not a deal breaker The place is small, really small so if you want space this place is not for you. The shower is small but good water flow and temp. There could be stronger electric fans would be one recommendation for the host, as the apartment can be quite warm in late June. Didn’t use kitchen except fridge and kettle Overall recommended but not for everybody

Local Living

The apartment was accurately described and looked just like the pictures. Although we did not cook, it was fully equipped with everything you would need including some seasonings. The location was great and the pizza place downstairs was delicious!! Tons of restaurants in the area and gardens/parks you could walk to. The only cons were that the walls are paper thin and the neighbor was noisy very early. He also smoked. The TV kept glitching and the picture would go black. We didn’t watch it much which is why we didn’t call anyone about it, but would have been nice to have it before bed. Overall, great stay and communication with the owner. I would definitely recommend.

Paris Visit

The property was very well located for trains, subways and transportation. Lots of restaurants and stores in the area. Very quiet neighborhood, but very lively.

Mixed review

I stayed at this property for 6 nights with my kids. The description of the property is accurate on Vrbo. Its a studio, small but has everything you need. I chose this property for its location, a safe place to sleep and shower. And it did tick all the boxes. I did not have a pleasant experience on day1. On check in day we came to a cold apartment and no hot water. I called the host let him know of the situation. He said the heater might be broke and he will send a plumber the next day. The hosts friend came in the next day and told us the main switch to the hot water was turned off and thus no hot water. We complained of a cold night and asked him to increase heat as I did not find anything to increase it. He tells me the heater to heat the apartment was broke. On day 2 we left for sightseeing and let the electrician come and fix the heater. They left the bathroom window open and we did not spot it and the apartment was freezing. Day 2 on after both the issues were sorted our stay was comfortable. I wanted to voice out that the apartment was not checked by the host to see if it was ready for the guest. There was no mention in the instruction to turn the water heater switch on or they did not care to close the bathroom window or made sure the heater worked to have the apartment ready for the guest. I asked for a refund for day 1 as we could not sleep all night and did not have a shower until the night of day2 as we went side seeing. But the host refused. Cleanliness avg.

5th floor with steep stairs not advertized. Narrow hallway.I am 84 years old!

Shower head was broken and no battery in the smoke detector. We reported this to owner by e-mail Wed morning. Repairs were made on Saturday Picture of apt in ad did not present the actual view out the window. Would not rent or recommend this apt.

I stayed here with a friend of mine for the weekend and it was a great experience. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. There was shampoo and soap, and fresh towels waiting for us when we got there. Would stay here again for sure. 10/10 would recommend.

Easy to Find in the Perfect Location!

We had a really nice stay in this adorable apartment! Surprisingly spacious with a well-equipped kitchen, great bathroom, and located directly across the street from the Louis Blanc metro stop, I will definitely be checking this property’s availability next time I’m in Paris. Thanks Maikel!
