The property was a perfect location to everything. The house had that old New England charm. Jeff, the host, was available if and whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend the use of this location

Excellent location. Easy walking distance to downtown and Bar Island. Very nice front porch and back porch with a grill. Only a few minutes drive to Acadia National Park entrance. Well stocked with towels etc. up to date appliances. Excellent communication with Jeff.

Such an excellent place! The location couldn’t be any better. This house is centrally located in town so within walking distance to almost everything. We loved that we could just walk down to the sand bridge!!! The house is clean, well stocked, and exactly as described. Great place. We would definitely rent again!

The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location is perfect for walking into Bar Harbor for restaurants and shopping and not having to deal with parking. The bedrooms offered privacy and light and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious, with 2 sinks that made it more convenient for a family, as did the downstairs half bath with shower. The laundry off the bathroom was convenient and clean. There are plenty of spaces within the house to hang out and relax, play games, watch TV or read. The front porch was idyllic, with comfortable wicker furniture. We loved our stay.

Wonderful Vacation Spot!

This is a beautiful, well kept home in a wonderful location. The house is roomy, airy and very clean. It is in a perfect location in Bar Harbor. This location is walking distance to Bar Island Path, restaurants, stores and the waterfront. We highly recommend staying here for an enjoyable vacation.

We absolutely love Maine - especially Bar Harbor. We’ve been numerous times and finally convinced our good friends to join us this summer. We loved the house and the location and the set up was perfect for our group. Everyone really enjoyed the time in Maine. We would definitely stay here again.

Bar Harbor Home

This is a really nice house on a quiet block right in Bar Harbor. It is a short walk to the center of town where there are restaurants, shops, bike and boat rentals, and shuttle buses. It is also a short drive to Acadia National Park. The house is clean, roomy and well-stocked. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

We lightly used the property as we enjoy so many of the local restaurants. The location was perfect for us to enjoy the fun of Bar Harbor. The spacious rooms with many gathering areas would work especially well for a multi-generational family vacation. Having a laundry was helpful. The porches were wonderful for unwinding in the evening or a sunrise cup of coffee. This is a great place. I would recommend it.

Great house in midst of Bar Harbor, ME

The location was fantastic-within walking distance to everything; it was SO CLEAN; the rooms were spacious; older home and well maintained; bath towels were great; kitchen well stocked with tools; one suggestion to owner: get screens for all windows in each room for airflow without worry of bugs-some rooms do have screens, just not all; we'd certainly stay in this home again if in Bar Harbor.

Acadia convenience dream!

Great location on Bridge St and 3 min walk to grocery store. Short walk east to the shops or the bus around the park. The kitchen and open area is great for families. Big front porch to enjoy your morning or evening. Comfortable beds. Big shared upstairs bathroom with convenient laundry. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming home perfectly situated to enjoy Bar Harbor, Acadia, MDI and the Schoodic Peninsula. We enjoyed walking 1/5 blocks to the low tide sandbar to Bar Island and about four blocks to Main Street to explore the village. The location is ideal to explore all aspects of Acadia, greatly appreciated for the sunrise trip to Cadillac Mountain. The home is comfortable and we enjoyed the wraparound porch for reading and socializing. Jeff is a responsive and informative host. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we are in Bar Harbor.

This beautiful home is clean, well-appointed, and in a perfect location to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia. The living spaces are very comfortable, the kitchen is perfect to preparing meals, and the covered porch is perfect for reading with a glass of wine. We loved the walking-distance proximity to the grocery store and to downtown, while being far enough from the crowds that we still had peace and quiet. We also enjoyed being extremely close to Acadia for cycling and hiking. One bonus we enjoyed was being so near the land bridge to Bar Island, and being able to walk to the beach to watch the changes to the bay as the tides change. Truly a spectacular house, host, and place to visit!

Perfect Location!

This house was in the perfect location for our trip to Acadia/Bar Harbor. The house was large and clean. It was perfect for 6 adults. There was lots of room to accommodate us. There was no key in the lock box upon our arrival but our host responded quickly and was in contact with us for the rest of the stay. Any questions were promptly answered. The large wrap around porch was one of the best features for our group gatherings. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a lovely, spacious, and comfortable home! We had a wonderful stay, so close to everything but on a quiet block. Kitchen, baths, and washer/dryer (on bedroom level) were up to date and very nice. House has loads of character — the wraparound porch is perfect and there are so many comfy nooks inside the house. Jeff was super helpful with instructions for the house and ideas for enjoying Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again!
