Beautiful Custom Home Overlooking Pond

This is a gorgeous 3900 square foot home in a peaceful neighborhood overlooking a pond in a Georgetown community on the Sampit River. The home is setup very well for relaxing and entertaining with a gourmet kitchen, wet bar and generously sized spaces. Linens are included.
Minutes to historic Georgetown, by car, 25 minutes to Pawley's Island Beach. Myrtle Beach is an hour North and Charleston is only an hour South. Our 45 foot, deep water marina slip may be available upon request. You can also boat to the Harborwalk on Front Street with all of its great restaurants and shops, and cruise or fish the Winyah Bay and Ocean! The Sampit River is beautiful and known by fishermen for it's Redfish, Stripers, Largemouth Bass and Crabbing.

Beautiful and private home. Loved the sitting area in the master bedroom. Everyone had room to spread out and not feel crowded. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Felt like we were at home and it was nice to come back to after a day of being at the beach or shopping. Loved waking up every morning and opening the blinds to let the light in and look out over the pond. This is a wonderful property in a great location. Our favorite beach was Pawley's Island off 2nd Street. It is the closest to the house. We also enjoyed visiting the Cat Café in Georgetown. Host was excellent commicator.

Pros.Home was spacious and had a nice layout. kitchen well equiped and beautiful deck. The owner was responsive, understanding, and easy to work with.Cons- no working dishwasher, gas tank needed to be refilled so no cooking or hot showers. The home is in a wooded area so alot of bugs in and out of the house. Home needed a deep clean seems to be brushed over by property manager. Just needed a thorough cleaning. Check in was easy because the owner was readily available, vrbo never sent the check in / check out instructions or responed to any of my messages.

I feel terrible about the experience this guest had, it’s certainly not normal. I believed the propane was set up for autofill and it wasn’t. It ran out on a Saturday night, which meant no hot water and no gas for cooking. Unfortunately, there’s no way to resolve that situation on a Sunday. I immediately contacted the guest, made a partial refund via Venmo and they have free nights to use on one of their future visits. The high end 2 year old dishwasher apparently failed just prior to their stay as well. The cleaners, who had just done a deep clean, thought they had it fixed. The many 5 star reviews prior to this one show the standard experience we provide.

My son was shooting the Junior US Open in Georgetown and we needed a place to stay for the tournament. This place was perfect. House was very clean and as advertised.

Fantastic property

Check-in was a breeze. Beautiful spacious home. Accommodated our group of 10 nicely. Wi-Fi access was easy. This home is somewhat secluded (what we preferred) but not too far from town. Host was easy to get a hold of with any questions and was very helpful.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed watching our boys catch fish in the pond directly out back. The porches had great sitting spots!

Wedding weekend

The house was perfect for what we needded. We had three cousins who live in different states who LOVED the bunk room, and each of the adult couples were able to enjoy their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, and the view was lovely. I would 100% recommend this spot for anyone needing a space while visiting the area.

Perfect getaway for family or friends.

The house was perfect for Dad's 80th Birthday party! Kitchen was well equipped and the equipment was great. Master bed and bath is lavish and wonderful. Back porch is a great place to relax outside! Please note that the Coffee pot is a Keurig not a pot (bring Pods not grounds).

Gem in Georgetown

This property is an amazing gem. Beautiful home, roomy, clean, comfortable and the owner was a dream to work with. My family along with a few friends rented this house for an event in Georgetown. We were truly pleased with the entire process from contact with the owner, the home and how easy everything worked out for us. We will definitely be coming back again!

The Heat Is On Sporting Clay Shoot

This is the second time my family and friends have rented this place. It is truly an assisting home. The owner Bratten is great to work with and attentive to details. I highly recommend this house if you are looking to rent in or around Georgetown!!! We will be back again!!

Wonderful property

The house was perfect for our family, my two sons, their wives and their three daughters and myself, roomy, private, beautiful inside and out. The teenagers used the scoter, bicycle and kayak. Bratton was responsive, quickly answering any questions we had. Everyone enjoyed the place and we hope to come back.

Wonderful Home

This home and our stay was truly magnificent! The house is immaculate. It is well stocked with everything you need. It is spacious allowing everyone to have privacy as well as get together. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood which is perfect after a long day at the beach or playing golf. It is located just a short distance from everything. Bratton is very quick to respond. We had a perfect vacation and already want to come back next year!

Fantastic home, great location

This home was perfect for our relaxing get-away and was superb in every way. The beds were all very comfortable and the separate spaces for our 5 adults were perfect. The kitchen is first class in every way and very well supplied with everything you would need if you choose to eat in; we prepared all our meals here and never lacked any dishes, cooking pans, or utensils. The neighborhood is very quiet and is great for walking or bicycle riding. We even enjoyed the kayaks on the pond! Georgetown's historical district is delightful and it is a relatively short drive to the ocean at Pawley's Island. We would love to stay again when in the area.

Shared family time

My husband and I have 4 grown children and 5 granchildren.some of whom live in different cities across the country. Our hope was to find a place to all gather and enjoy time with each other. None of us have a home large enough. We were excited to find this home and since not all our children and grandchildren were able to make the trip the ones that came were excited to see there was plenty of room for us and to enjoy time together. All of us thought this home was very beautiful and had all the necessities we needed to enjoy our holiday. We would come here again if the opportunity was available for us to come again. A wonderful host!
