Bonjour, nous sommes Robin et John Hanley et nous vous souhaitons la bienvenue dans nos Suites Under the Gondola à Steamboat Springs! Originaire du nord de l'État de New York, nous avons déménagé à Chicago pendant 15 ans avant de visiter Steamboat et de déménager ici il y a 19 ans. Lors d'un voyage d'affaires en Roumanie, John a été très impressionné par le peuple roumain et le sort de son économie. Il a découvert que la meilleure façon de les aider était de les embaucher pour leur artisanat. Par conséquent, cette propriété a été finie en utilisant du marbre roumain, du bois de cerisier européen et du fer forgé, tous fabriqués à la main par des personnes individuelles et des villages.

La propriété est située juste sous la télécabine sur la piste de ski. Notre escalier arrière chauffé vous mène de la maison pour traverser la rue et skier au pied de la montagne. Le ski-in est tout aussi simple.

La suite gondole est reliée à notre résidence principale. À votre arrivée, l'appareil sera propre et rempli de nombreuses serviettes pour votre usage. On vous fournit une clé pour votre propre porte d'entrée et l'unité est à nouveau nettoyée après votre départ. 1 très grand lit et 2 convertibles. Cuisine complète, téléviseurs à écran plat et lecteur DVD.
Nous sommes amis des chiens et des enfants. C'EST UNE MAISON NON FUMEUR avec Internet sans fil partout. Il y a une buanderie sur place à l'usage de nos clients.
Nous vivons dans la partie principale de la maison, offrant 4 suites privées pour la location à la nuit / à la semaine. (Il n'y a pas d'espace de vie partagé.) Un cadre parfait pour un voyage multi-famille, voyageant ensemble mais ayant chacun une suite privée et une salle de bain. Nous acceptons les animaux à vapeur. c et extrêmement accueillant pour les chiens (désolé pas les chats). Il y a une cour clôturée commune entourant nos suites d'hôtes. Actuellement, l'aéroport HDN de Steamboat / Hayden propose un service sans escale vers Houston et Denver. L'hiver apporte beaucoup plus de vols sans escale, y compris le nouveau service Jet Blue de Boston, Ft. Lauderdale et Long Beach, CA!

The Gondola suite had everything we needed for a short Steamboat stay - great location, friendly and helpful host, gorgeous kitchen with much more than essentials, and a view of the Steamboat gondola.

So close to gondola!

Perfect location within ski/walking distance to gondola. Beautiful, pet friendly home with a yard, lovely views, and wonderful fireplaces. Easy access to dining and all the joys Steamboat has to offer.

An Awesome Place to Stay

This is always a great place to stay - clean, quiet, and scenic. It's close to the ski resort but a short bus ride (free) away from town. Robin is super nice and accommodating. Pets are welcome which is nice.

Ski Weekend

We had an amazing stay with Robin and John. The condo was super clean, equipped with everything we needed plus some. We even brought dogs and Robin and John thought of everything for them too! The location is a dream for skiing and super easy to walk to the slopes. We will definitely be staying again next time we’re in steamboat.

Great stay!

This is a terrific site, and even better for being pet friendly. Robin was gracious and accommodating. There’s a short walk (200 yards) to the ski trail that connects down to the gondola for the ski area. The room was very, very clean and stocked with comfy sheets and towels. This is a stay-again place.

Perfect stay for humans and pets!

We had a wonderful stay at Under The Gondola suite. Very cosy - especially with the romantic fireplace in the bedroom. It was walking distance to the gondola which is a huge plus. Super pet friendly. Owner Robin, was able to let our puppy out while we were on the slopes. Everybody was super friendly. We would love to stay there in the future!!!

Cozy with Great Ski Access

We enjoyed our stay in the Gondola Suite. Robin was very helpful and accommodating, the suite was comfortable and cozy, and it is easy to walk out to access the slopes and the walk back from the ski access point is also easy. ~5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and less than 10 minutes to a few breakfast spots, a brewery, and a burger place which made it easy to go downtown or grab food nearby. We had 4 adults and squeezed everyone in between the main bedroom and the pullout couches without running out of space. Great spot for a small group or a couple on a ski trip.

Nice apartment and close to slopes

The apartment was very comfortable and convenient to the slopes (just a very short walk to short in/out access trail). We did not rent a car, so we relied on the city busses to get into town (about 1/4 mile walk to the bus stop). Owners were very helpful with a few questions before we arrived and a few while we were in town. The sleeper sofa wasn't very comfortable. Overall it was a great place for the location and price.

Slopeside Perfection!

Robin's place is perfection in every way; it is comfortable, well-stocked, and has everything you would need or want. This is honestly the type of place you don't want to boast about too much because then it will always be booked when you want to stay there. It has every creature comfort imaginable, seriously Robin has thought of everything you might want. The property is so dog-friendly, is tucked away, but also feels close to the village. We skied every day and the access to the slopes is unmatched. We go to Steamboat every year and this is sure to be the place we book for every trip!

Quiet, clean, easy, comfortable

We loved our week in this suite. Kids enjoyed the couch beds and watching tv. The dog was comfortable and we had easy access to the ski mountain. Loved the wildlife around the property- saw moose, porcupines, fox, owl and many other dogs that also stayed in other suites at this property. Robin was great and answered all of our questions promptly. Parking was easy- right outside our room. We loved having the full kitchen so we could make our meals, and access to the shared laundry room. We hope to be back again for a long ski weekend next winter!

Wonderful and convenient!

Robin the owner wonderful. We brought two of our dogs and one was a little nervous one day when when we left and Robin came in and reassured her all was ok which settled her. They had a blast playing in the yard and meeting others dogs. We had a great time skiing and just popping across the street to the ski area or being able to walk down the street to a conscience store or a short drive to the grocery store. Can’t say enough, but we plan to be back.

Beautiful place in amazing location

We stayed at Robin's property over Thanksgiving and had a really nice time. When we first arrived there was a ton of construction and chaos (it looks like it's wrapping up), but both Robin and her daughter met our car and made things really easy. She even had a construction worker help us carry our things up which was super helpful! The only downside with the construction was we couldn't just let our dog out into the fenced yard-- there was now an extra step (which again won't always be there and Robin was very apologetic). Now onto the really good: it was easily the cleanest and nicest dog friendly place I've ever stayed at. The kitchen was the perfect size for making our thanksgiving feast. Robin was very accessible for questions. The location was amazing for skiing, although the weather didn't cooperate...it was in the 60s most days. It takes all of about 5 minutes, some of it skiing, to get to the slopes and the gondola was beautiful to watch...plus we didn't have a single bad sunset. Also, while we were there, Robin hosted 19 people for Thanksgiving and we could hardly hear them even though our unit was directly adjacent (she also warned us ahead of time that she was the host). Steamboat is just gorgeous! We definitely plan on staying here again!

Winter wonderland underneath the gondola

Robin and John's property was absolutely heavenly! We were met by Robin as we drove up, and she warmly greeted us and personally showed us to our suite. When I opened the door, the suite was breathtaking for its beauty and layout. Interior design and furnishings were impeccable, functional, and very welcoming. It is always nice to receive what you paid for, but it is exceptionally pleasing to receive more than you had imagined! Our suite showed a classic and beautiful charm with real tiling work and unrivalled woodworking (fine cabinetry). The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed, all appliances worked, and the interior decorating (furniture, paintings, ornaments, etc.) were simply exquisite! I had numerous interactions with Robin, and each one was more pleasant than the previous. I want to note the beautiful fenced in yard, which was important to us since we had our 3 year-old Golden along. He was able to romp in the snow with a few other dogs without any fear on our part that our Golden would leave the property. I cannot say enough about this unbelievable find and memorable experience in the Steamboat Springs resort ski area. Also, there was assigned parking for each suite, so never a problem finding parking. Lastly, the other guests we met were so nice. One family, in particular, wanted us to schedule a return visit when they were there next year! We are forever grateful to Robin and John, and we sure hope to stay at their gorgeous property again.

Absolutely Ideal

John & Robyn we're the perfect hosts! The location is absolutely beautiful, it's right by the ski village and everything is very walkable. We are so thankful they allowed dogs as we had been struggling to find a place we could stay with our two pups. We had an absolutely wonderful time and honestly wish we could have stayed longer.

A beautiful clean dog friendly stay

Under the Gondola was a wonderful place to stay for myself, husband and small dog. It was very clean, the pictures were correct, the location was easy to get to the resort by foot, by car or the free bus. We had everything we needed. Robin was very welcoming. Beautiful accommodation

An absolutely stunning location and a very beautiful play to stay. Robin was such a wonderful host. She even met us at the door and welcomed us in. The place was very comfortable and Jasper (our dog) loved the big back yard space to room around in. Excellent location for amazing hikes and just a short drive to town. Wonderful visit, for both myself and my puppy

I had such a nice, relaxing stay. Check-in was a breeze, the unit clean, the owner available if I had any questions/needs. I worked remote mostly during the days, but my Siberian Husky was able to get out in the *massive* fenced in snow-filled backyard. Other guests also had dogs and they'd all go out there and run around. Truly, a really nice benefit for my pup when I couldn't run around with her myself. As for the unit, it was comfortable, as expected, easy to find things, secure, good wifi and made for a great base-camp for a couple weeks. It's literally a few hundred feed from where you can strap your skis on, too, so that made it easy for me to get out and enjoy the mountain. Will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Perfect place for the puppers and skiing

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. The backyard had plenty of room to let our two puppers run around. There were even some other dogs there for them to play with. The owner, Robin, was great. She was right there to answer any questions we may have had. The view from the master bedroom overlooking the gondola is incredible. The kitchen is fully stocked with a very nice oven. It is only about 100 ft walk to the slopes. With skis this is no problem as you’ll need to traverse a little way. With a snowboard you’ll be forced to walk a little extra. All in all, a great property.
