Our 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom 2,900 square foot single level home is located in the Animas Valley just 12 minutes from Historic Downtown Durango and 20 minutes from Purgatory Ski Resort to the north.

The brand new home has been outfitted to be the ultimate vacation rental with a private hot tub, huge covered deck with outdoor dining table, gas fire pit and a BBQ Grill as well a 6 ft. Pool Table, Ping Pong and a Shuffleboard table in the garage. The home is perfect for multiple families as it features a 2nd living space with a cocktail arcade game (with 60 classic games), TV and queen pull out sofa.

The newly renovated Durango Hot Springs is just a 1/2 mile from the home and Dalton Ranch Golf Course along with PJs Market and a great liquor store are just across highway 550 only a mile from the house.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Loved the layout

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: VRC was very responsive with communication which was nice. The home layout was great and spacious. Location was great. 10 min to Durango, 20 to ski, 2 min to the hot springs. Views out the back were great. Beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean, had ample space, and was well appointed. The hot tub and multiple fire pits were a great addition! We made tons of memories and really enjoyed our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful. It’s located in a quaint neighborhood with views of the mountains. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the morning sipping coffee and warming ourselves up by the gas fireplace. The house is located close to many attractions, but our favorite thing to do was to cook dinner in the gorgeous kitchen and enjoy family time at the house itself.

This house was absolutely perfect for our party of 8! It was it was very roomy. Counting the powder bath each couple had their own bathroom. Dining table and bar nicely sized for our group. Garage space for 2 of our vehicles was great. Office area at the front of the house was hardly used, but nice to have when a phone call back home was necessary. Beds comfortable, utility room nice and large, plenty of plates and glasses. Large sectional and chairs perfect for us to watch play off football and tennis! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Purgatory ski & outdoor trip mostly North of Durango

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hermosa Haven is a very well stocked and well designed new home. It’s conveniently located off 550. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.- Location.... Location.. Location... people. Seriously, easy to access and the best part is that you DON’T have to drive through Durango unless you want to. This was super convenient for us as all of our time was spent on the hill, or at places north of town and we don’t do condos. Although the house is close to the highway, it’s actually quite serene. We had plenty of kitchen gear and beds are comfy and kids loved the games outside and the bunk beds. This house doesn’t look it from the road, or front. But it is an extremely large house. Plenty of room for everyone without feeling cramped. Times to places close to the house:- Durango Hot Springs - 1 min- PJ’s gourmet market - 1 min- Honeyville - 2 mins. - James ranch grill (which is awesome btw) 2 mins away.- Purgatory 15 mins (and you can enter and exit the neighborhood without going through the light at Hemosa! So no traffic jam south ound at 3:30pm)- Bears ranch 8 mins - THE Coolest sunset sleigh ride experienceWe used the hot tub, but not the fire pit or grill. Everything worked here and the USB-C & A chargers in the plugs and the seats in the living room are a nice touch.
