Enjoy our beautiful Garden Suite located in Historic Apalachicola. Expansive windows allows so much natural light and beautiful views of gardens and Historical Chestnut Cemetary. Park your vehicle and walk to all our beautiful town has to offer. This suite is very private, has its own entry, and a very comfortable King bed. The suite also has a nice sitting area with two accent chairs. The bathroom has a small but precious antique clawfoot tub equipped with a shower. We offer WiFi and cable streaming via YouTube TV. My wife and I had a lovely stay at the garden suite we found the accommodation to be wonderful. The host very accommodating, and the atmosphere very relaxing.
Stayed one night as we were passing through Apalachicola. The garden suite was lovely, just as pictured and described. Very close to walk to main street for dining and shopping.
This place is absolutely wonderful. The hosts were extremely accommodating with our last-minute request for accommodations. The location is convenient to walking into town. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be staying here again.
This is certainly my favorite place to stay in Apalachacola if not any other VRBO location. So adorable, comfortable and the charm is hands down the best. Thank you.
Just love The Chapman House. Second time staying here, so far my favorite room. Hosts are very attentive. Location Location Location. Walk across the street to Trinity Episcopal Church. History buffs can enjoy the nearby Cemetary. Lovely stay!
If youâve seen the movie, âSomewhere in Timeâ, the Historic Garden Suite literally allows one to travel back in time and experience, the relaxing, beauty of the late 1800âs, but not have to give up modern amenities. Located in the Historical residential district of beautiful and quaint Apalachicola Florida with itâs Gulf breezes, how could it get any better.
Definitely recommend this super-nice suite attached to an historic home.
The bedroom is large and beautifully appointed. There's not kitched but there is a microwave and small refrigerator and a bunch of complimentary items.
The bathroom looks great, though the small-ish tub isn't set up well to use as a shower.
The host provided some good recommendations for the area, including a newer bar with live music (Apalachicola Yacht Club) that didn't show up on any maps or searches I did for Apalachicola.
The place is about 3 blocks from the little downtown area. Everything is within a short walk as Apalachicola is not very big :)
Everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was great. Very clean. just need a little light outside in the court yard or lighted pathway.. BUT, we are extremely pleased with our stay. Will 10 out of 10 stay again..
Beautiful place! Comfy and quaint. All was perfect except some light bulbs out in wall sconces and chandelier. We tried to play Fleetwood Mac on the record player but it didnât work properly. Iâd suggest the housekeeper bring in the seat cushions on the outdoor chairs. The outdoor patio area was lovely, but the chair cushions were soiled and littered with debris from the overhanging tree branches. Overall wonderful stay. Look forward to our return visits.
