Hi Katherine, Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like mountain vacations might just not be for you, as many of your complaints are quite common in rural mountain communities. This would include being bear aware and disposing of trash properly in a dumpster to keep our community and bears safe, no AC, windows open at night, etc. We are happy to look into new pots and pan but the garage certainly was not advertised as an amenity, therefore that expectation is a little odd. We are unsure about the comments made regarding the early check-in as we certainly try our best to get folks in early when possible. We do actively visit properties during the day, so it's possible we were just out and about when you stopped by, our apologies if you felt waiting for a call back was unacceptable. We wish you the best in finding travel destinations that better suit your expectations in the future. - Grand Moutain Rentals

Some aspects of a stay, such as mattress comfort, can be subjective and vary from guest to guest. We also note that the heart of downtown Grand Lake is located less than half a mile from the home, though individual preferences regarding walkability may differ. For clarification, the deck is accessible from both the primary bedroom and the exterior staircase, as shown in the listing photos. Guests are provided access to our complimentary bear-proof dumpster located just a few minutes from the property. We do not direct guests to the pay per throw trash disposal services offered in town.
