Still Standing! Cozy Cottage, Great Location!

Welcome to “Gneiss & Cozy”!

This charming cottage sits perfectly between Lake Lure Beach and Chimney Rock State Park, right off Memorial Highway and across from the soon to be, NEW Flowering Bridge. With a king bed, queen bed, and queen pull-out sofa, it comfortably sleeps up to 6. The driveway fits up to two cars with just a few steps to the front porch. There is plenty of additional parking across the street.

Inside, the open-concept living room features a cozy gas fireplace, board games, flat-screen TVs, Roku, and high-speed internet—perfect for family nights. The fully stocked kitchen offers everything from a full-sized refrigerator with freezer, an electric oven, a microwave, and a drip coffee pot, plus an island bar.

Relax on the screened-in front porch, dine on the back deck, or gather around one of the outdoor tables while soaking in seasonal views of Chimney Rock. Whether you’re supporting local restaurants recovering after Helene or grilling at home, this cottage is the ideal mountain retreat!

Great Escape

Location was great, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire area, especially the little garden across the street. We also discovered a bonus walking trail near the beach. Loved the waterfront lake house restaurant as well as worship service on Sunday.

What a view!

This is an awesome place to stay in Lake Lure! We were in between Lake Lure and Chimney and the access to everything was a blessing. The size of house was perfect for all of us and we realized there was a bed in the couch! More people can come with us! The Flowering Bridge was the true reasonfor our visit. It was a few steps across the street and we were able to visit many times throughout our stay. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Great location

Wonderful place to stay. Great location. Pet friendly. Clean and cozy. Right across from the flowering bridge. Close to everything. My only disappointment was no hot tub. That must of been a VRBO mistake. The place was great and we will definitely be back!

Overall we had a great experience. Bed was comfy, check in was easy,and house was very clean.Loved the screen front porch. I loved that it was so close to the Lake Lure garden. Not a large yard if you are looking for that.

Beautiful Location, Helpful Host

This is a lovely house right in the middle of Lake Lure/Chimney Rock Village. We spent a lot of time on the wonderful screen porch, enjoying the rocking chairs, eating at the table, and people watching across the street at the Flower Bridge. You could hear the Rocky Broad River, just before it enters Lake Lure. The location is a short walk or drive to everything. Our host had great recommendations for activities and restaurants. The house is well appointed and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Cottage was very clean had everything you need for a comfortable stay it also had a nice front porch to enjoy the nice weather and of course the beautiful Flowering Bridge. Oh and we seen a bear very cool.

Perfect place!

Such a great location and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids, and comfy beds! Games and puzzles to entertain us inside. Screened in front porch was perfect! Kids thought it was “fun” not having a dishwasher. The only suggest we have is a keurig coffee maker. We’d definitely stay again!

Great stay!

My family and I were at Lake Lure to celebrate my wedding! This was a perfect place as the venue was across the street. The common area gazebo was a shared space with the Four Seasons cabins and we enjoyed utilizing the space with friends. The area is beautiful! The host is very communicative and accommodating! Caution: Black bears get into the garbage cans.

Great location, cozy cabin

Such a great location for being in the middle of Lake Lure. It is so close to the Flower Bridge! We had a lot of rain but Asheville wasn’t too far away so we saved Chimney Rock hiking for the sunny day. We can’t wait to come back.

Mother's day get-away

This weekend has been a wonderful celebration of Mother's day . Weather was nice ,sunny but not so hot .Our cottage was at the heart of town just across the beautiful flower bridge , walking distance to Lake Lure beach and Washburn marina and choice restaurants. We enjoyed the boat tour , and going up the top of . We enjoyed eating our take out on the screened porch, overlooking the Flower bridge ,and watching people . Our beloved dog enjoyed her stay too. Thank to Jonathan who had made this weekend so memorable. Thank you to the hosts who made our Mother's day get away a very memorable one.

Perfect cozy cottage!

This was our second stay here, we LOVE this house. Beds are comfy, enjoyed the fireplace and gas grill on the deck. The lovely screened front porch has a view of the Flowering Bridge across the street. This time the bridge was decorated with lights for Christmas and was truly magical! The owner is great to communicate with and the house was very clean and well maintained. This has become a special spot for us and we hope to continue visiting in the future.

Great location, close to Chimney rock and Hendersonville. Cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. Loved the screened in front porch. Communication with Property manager was great.

We enjoyed our time exploring lake lure and chimney rock. This cottage has all you need. Loved having coffee on the screened porch every morning. The host is easy to reach, very responsive and does all he can to ensure your needs are met.

Great Location

Perfect location to Flower Bridge (just across street), plus a short walk to Marina and Beach. A very short drive to Chimney Rock. Best bargain for location, plus a lage gas grill on the back. Beds were super comfortable.

Very Kneiss!!!

What a Kneiss and Cozy place to stay in Lake Lure! My girlfriend and I found it to be very clean, quite convenient and wonderfully cozy! Everything was exactly as stated in the listing. We enjoyed our little retreat to the mountains for a couple of days. Especially the Flowering Bridge and the Lake Lure Boat Tour and the cottage was extremely convenient to both! Our host, Jonathan, was very accessible and timely with his responses. Thank you so much!

Cozy and comfortable.

Excellent location; across the street from the flowering bridge and walking distance to Lake Lure town center and waterpark. Very comfortable beds. We had a slight issue getting in and the Property Manager was very prompt resolving our issue.
