With Jennette's Pier and Bodie Island Lighthouse less than four miles away, you can enjoy the lavishness of the beach while taking in the tourist rentals just a few miles down the coast. There you can find everything to help you make the most of your waterfront activities: boating, surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, shelling, beachcombing, parasailing, windsurfing, and so much more. If you're looking for activities away from the water, the town has many historic landmarks as well as nightlife, entertainment, restaurants, and playgrounds for family-friendly needs.

Inside the beach house, you'll find a bright interior flooded with beautiful natural light, with windows built for the sole purpose of the ocean view. A large dining table and a spacious kitchen filled with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances are at your service to feed your hungry friends and family. There's ample cupboard space to hold all of your snacks to take adventuring with you. The roomy walk-in showers are perfect for washing off all the sand and sunscreen. Enjoy lounging on the comfortable furniture after a day of waterfront activities, gathering around the large TV for a fun movie night with your loved ones. Loved this vacation! The pictures dont do the views justice. The weather was perfect for ocean watching on the deck. There were even dolphins that came by every day. It was so convenient to the beach! Everything that we needed was provided/stocked.

Great location with amazing views

Home was very nice. Layout was perfect and plenty of room. Views were amazing! Hot tub was relaxing. Loved that the home was pet- friendly however, outside area needed a little upkeep. Grass was overgrown, so no area for our pet to go. HVAC worked well considering it had weeds growing over it. I would suggest advertise the beds as full not Queen for they were quite "cozy " for two adults. Kitchen was fully stocked and was beautifully decorated. Only other suggestion, replace the outdated broom. We would definitely rent this space again. Beach was perfect and very private!

Great ocean views

The place was lovely and the views of the ocean were wonderful. The shower in the master bath needs a mat as it is VERY slippery. The reason for the less than perfect score is because when I went on-line to reserve again for next year I saw the price had nearly tripled! For this reason alone we are opting for another location next year.

Beautiful view of the ocean!

This house was comfortable and well maintained. We enjoyed the picture window views of the beach, the decks off the bedrooms and living rooms, and the bright, airy interior. And the hot tub was excellent!

House with picture perfect views

Lovely home with beautiful ocean views. Wake up every morning to Beautiful sunrises and look out at the ocean all day long as you’re sitting on the couch in your living room. The property is very clean and the kitchen living room area is open and modern. There is a hot tub and lovely two room spacious outdoor shower underneath the house. All I can say is we are home now and I am missing that view already. Thank you so much!!

Great place we've stayed 2x now--too pricey for next year unfortunately

We love being so close to the beach and having everything at our fingertips for meals and fun (love the puzzles and books in the living room cabinet). Used the outdoor shower a lot and appreciated the washer/dryer. Loved the new living room window and couch! We would have booked for a 3rd year in a row but the price increase is just too much for us.

Great Stay/Location

This was our second time staying here and we loved it as always. Such a great view as it sits right on the beach. We also loved the hot tub! There are very minor things that we have experienced on both our stays. Since we experienced them on the off season, it’s not a big issue. If we would have experienced them on the on season, it would definitely taken our rating down to 4 stars.

Beach therapy!

The property was exactly as described! Steps from the beach with an amazing view from the living room! Gorgeous kitchen with updated appliances added to the overall splendor this rental. The only con was no communication that we would have to supply TP and little things like salt and pepper
not really a big issue unless you come in late in the evening and getting supplies has to wait for the morning. But still a great, quiet place (we stayed in February) to put your feet up and relax!

Great Location, Great Views, Poor Ventilation

On the surface level, much of the property has been renovated. Modern and cute space. The outdoor shower is really clean and blocks any one from spying in. While minor issues are expected, the only major issue we dealt with was the poor ventilation. Pet dander is going to be hard to get rid of with properties that allow pets, and the air just didnt circulate well in the bedrooms.

Great Home

Beautiful home right on beach. Very accommodating. We did have a repair man show up unexpectedly. No one let me know about this and was not comfortable with this. Also the advertisement for this home said dogs welcome, but when we wanted to take the dogs they cancelled my reservation with no phone call or anything. I called and we got all worked out but found the whole thing confusing. They need to change ad. Also not enough wash cloths. Home was wonderful.

Nice getaway

So I’ll try and be as fair as possible on the review,the house was great and had everything we needed,location amazing,nice quiet street in s.nags and steps from the beach,you could always hear the oceans roar which I love day or night..now a few things that were a little bother Not a single screen in the entire house and with the weather so nice you couldn’t open up the windows or the sliders unless u wanted a house full of insects,the hot tub only had 1/2 the jets working and for some reason there’s no step to climb in,I was ok but my wife who is 5ft had a hard time,if I was there for a week I would of went and bought one somewhere,this one is very odd who has a beach(vacation house) without a grill? So whoever’s next to rent I left u a portable Weber charcoal grill,charcoal,and fluid.i consider myself pretty techy but in 3 nights I could not raise or lower the volume button on the tv,i could not figure it out,i was lucky enough to be a youtubetv subscriber home so i was able to watch live tv.funny I could not find the ldry room?? There was one door with automatic lock on it but i just figured that was like a private closet that homeowners often have..none of these are big deals and I would rent it again just for the location Enjoy your stay

A great stay in a wonderful house

My wife and I booked this house for a quick getaway to visit Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, which is about 20 minutes south of the house. The house was perfect for that and perfect for R&R following everything we had been through with TS Helene. We made great use of the hot tub as well, and really appreciated the closeness to the beach. We will definitely keep this house in mind for future trips.

First OBX Visit

The house is maybe 100 steps to the beach. The view from the deck is great. Since you are in South Nags Head the beach is not crowded and the house is not close to a public access. Overall a great place to vacation. I would caution that if you have a hard time with stairs there are a lot.
