This was a return visit to the property! We loved it the first time, and the second as well. We managed a few minutes to enjoy the lovely manicured private yard and porch. We didn’t take the couple of minutes walk to the lake dock this time, but last time our grandkids fished off of it. Terrific fun!Every time we have stayed here, we have left thinking about our next return visit because the property was clean, had all the amenities we like annd more and off street parking. Susan and Robb, our hosts, are accessible and friendly.

This was the perfect space for my son & I. In town for a baseball tournament & couldnt have chosen a better place to stay. Hosts were extremely nice, available if I needed them (however we never did). Very clean, had all the amenities.

Our stay at Lake Escape was absolutely wonderful! The home was sparkling clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was amazing with communication and very responsive and thoughtful. I especially loved walking the trail down to the lake. The view was beautiful and so peaceful. The name “Lake Escape” couldn’t be more perfect. It truly was a wonderful escape! We can’t wait to come back.

Lake Escape

Everything was very clean and the apartment is arranged very well. We were traveling with our dog and the accommodations were excellent for us and our pet. The host was very helpful and we appreciated the privacy.

Quiet Peaceful Location

This property was just what we needed each evening after playing/watching baseball at Lakepoint. Sitting outside listening to and watching the birds was so peaceful. And the short walk to the dock and floating in the lake was so relaxing!

Perfect for Our Stay

My son and I were in town for a week long baseball event and needed a place that had room at a good value. Susan’s place nailed it! Nice property

This was a well-furnished first-floor apartment with modern decor. There is a nice fenced in backyard area. All areas were clean. Short walk to a floating dock with water access.

Everything thing you’re looking for plus more!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We were in town for my son’s baseball tournament and didn’t want to spend the week couped up in a tiny hotel room. Susan and Robb were amazing host. Apartment was supplied with everything you would need during your stay! The lake is breathtaking and dock is beautiful.

What a wonderful place to stay! Everything that we needed was provided. The hosts are great, responsive and have meticulously thought of so many details to make the stay comfortable. Enjoy the clean and well furnished apartment, tranquil setting, viewing the deer and birds, fishing and fun at the dock. This location is approximately 30 minutes from the Sports Complex and is recommended for families looking for a home away from home. The fenced yard was a great space for our 2 fur babies. You will not be disappointed.

The place is in a great location. The neighborhood is peaceful and the back yard is amazing. My son loved spending his free time fishing from the dock. The hosts are wonderful and we enjoyed having conversations with them. We will definitely book again if we travel to Georgia. The Mitchell Family

Perfect for baseball stays!

Lake Escape Thank you for a wonderful stay. My son played at Lakepoint and your place was PERFECT for us. Well appointed, cozy and only 20 min from ballpark, we couldn’t have asked for a better place/experience. Everything was exactly as stated in the description and the only surprises were positive (literally had EVERYTHING we needed). Thank you again and we look forward to visiting again when we are back for another tourney!!

We were pleasantly surprised by the tranquility and natural beauty of the location. The setting was ideal—peaceful, serene, and surrounded by abundant wildlife, including numerous deer. It was a perfect escape from the everyday hustle. The owners were exceptionally understanding and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The pictures are accurate. The place was very clean. There were some wonderful little touches that I loved like the dog bowls, starter snacks like popcorn, fruit, trail mix, and coffee. I highly recommend this place and we are already planning our return. Thank you once again!

Great Escape

We found this to be a very nice and quiet place to recover from daily business. Still there is lots to do in the surroundings. Susan and Rob have been very kind hosts. We enjoyed kayaking into the evening sun. All in all, an unexpected positive experience.

Great place to relax

We enjoyed be away from the city but close to where we needed to be. It was an easy drive to Atlanta to go to Georgia Aquarium and Battery and Six Flags. We picked the place because of it's location to LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson for a week long baseball tournament. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed and more. Having the option to be on the lake and swim was a bonus. Definitely would stay again if we were in the area. Extra bonus was th fenced in yard for our dog!

Baseball time

We stayed here while our grandson played in a baseball tournament nearby. The unit was very comfortable, quiet, fully equipped and convenient. The owner was very responsive to questions and very pleasant to talk with. The outside seating is great, the temp was low enough to use it two evenings (our stay was the middle of July). We loved the area as it felt resorty. Would highly recommend.

First-timers: Beautiful, Welcoming, Accommodating

The property owners were super nice, they paid attention to every detail, and they created a space you'll fall in love with at first sight. We literally felt like we were in a 5- star Casita near the lake. My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday weekend to go fishing. The scenery was exquisite and very peaceful. It's both far enough and close enough to the city, restaurants, and shopping locations. Choose this place! You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful little apartment

House was was easy to find. The apartment is EXACTLY as shown. Not a thing out of place and extremely clean. Bring you personal items, and food that’s all you need, anything and everythng is supplied. The apartment is as graciously appointed as a 5 star hotel. Susan and Rob are wonderful people, You will love your stay!
