Just over 5 miles from Purdue, our fully renovated Cottage sits on the bank of the Wabash River. Walking distance to the Davis Ferry Pedestrian Bridge and Heritage Trail. This cottage features a 500 sqf deck that wraps around the house. Perfect for Alumni and Family visits, Football & Basketball games, or just a cozy getaway. We love this Sunny Little River Cottage and we hope you will too!
Great cabin and accommodations...If I had known the cabin was next to a busy highway (bridge) I may have reconsidered...I thought it was more isolated...I also encouraged the host to have regular coffee maker instead of Keurig coffee (environmentally wasteful) and she was open and said she will provide both in the future! Host very helpful and available.
Awesome small cottage right next to the river. Lovely to sit outside in the morning. Quiet and safe. Very clean and smelled good. The host was awesome - extremely responsive to questions and good info. The place was outfitted very nicely and everything worked. Itâs like they thought of everything - thank you!
This was the perfect stay for our visit to the area! Cozy, clean and close to several activities in town. Good communication and quick, informative check in and check out process. We plan to come back to the cottage soon, thanks!
We loved staying in this cabin on the river. It was very peaceful. We liked the location and access. Communication was great, and the listing was accurate. We would stay here again.
This property is wonderful to relax and recharge. It is right on the Wabash river and it was perfect to lose yourself watching the rushing current. I would definitely recommend this place. We will be back.
This cozy cabin was a perfect place for our Christmas visit. The cabin is beautifully remodeled with little thoughtful touches throughout the home. The view of the river is beautiful and had easy access to the Heritage walking trail. We had such an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back.
Such a cute house! They thought of everything! The 2 of us were very comfortable staying here. It was perfect for the first meeting of our daughters in-laws to be! It had everything we needed and was so clean.
This was such a great house and perfect for my husband and I to use as home base for a visit to see our daughter and the area. We drove a few miles north to Battle Ground and already have ideas for things to do on our next visit. We will definitely be staying at this house again!
Property was nice and convenient, yet secluded. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds on the river. Kitchen was appropriately equipped, which is not always the case with rentals. I will definitely book this property again.
While visiting our son at Purdue, we spent the weekend at this incredible property. The view overlooking the river is amazing! The home is very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. We will definitely be staying here again!
House was spotless. Nice to drink coffee on the deck. Quiet. 11 minute drive to campus. House is on a dead end street and right on the river. Will stay again đđ
My wife and I stayed for 5 nights while visiting our son, an undergrad at Purdue. The house was perfect - clean, well kept, quiet. The river view was so peaceful, especially in the mornings while we had our coffee. We were no more than 10 mins away from any place we wanted to go in Lafayette or West Lafayette, from restaurants to the campus. We'll definitely stay here again!
My adult son and I stayed in the cottage a second time recently. We enjoyed it as much as our first stay. The cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable, toasty and warm, and conveniently located. The kitchen is easy to cook in and has a range of pots/pans, spices, and condiments, which we appreciated. We liked the tasteful holiday decorations too!
Place was clean, comfortable, well stocked. Loved the Perdue things and the Christmas decorations. Owner so good to work with.
Something to consider in spring to work on the steps from road , they are soft under foot.
Would stay again.
The house was perfectly cozy, very well-appointed with lots of details and items provided, like toiletries, board games, etc. Though the kitchen is small, we had no problem making our Thanksgiving meal with all of the cooking and serving items supplied. The view of the Wabash was fantastic. We walked both sides of the Wabash Heritage trail several times as it is just a couple yards from the house. It's a few minutes down the road from Lafayette and 12 minutes to our Boilermaker's apartment next to campus, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of those areas. We loved everything about this cozy cottage, and would definitely stay there again!
