Location is Great, 20 mins to Disney. Lots of restaurants and Supermarkets within 10 mins drive. Very peaceful location overlooking conservation woods within a gated community. Alex the host was easy to get in touch with.The villa is well used but clean, and plenty of towels etc. fully air conditioned and we had pool heating in April which made the pool.

Amazing property

We love staying here, the space was perfect for all of us, very clean and comfortable, the house is close to pretty much everything needed, would recommend to all my friends and family and would stay here again

Everything was ok it was weird because we could. Not control the ac unit to adjust the temperature, and it was cool the whole stay,. We had to double up on covers because it was cold

I was abit wary upon reserving as there had not been a published review about the property for a couple of years at least. Nevertheless we got a good discount on the normal price as a VRBO Platinum member and went ahead and booked. The stay was for 32 nights! The property was exactly as advertised. The villa felt spacious and had plenty of room for us all with its 7 bedrooms. The pool was one of the largest we have had in any of the rentals we have had through VRBO. Also a large area around the pool as well so plenty of room for the kids to play in and out of the pool as well as room for any sunbathers! Communication with Alex (the host) was excellent eg. we wanted the aircon turning down abit during our stay and within 10 mins of requesting Alex had altered the aircon remotely via WIfi from wherever he was! No-one overlooking at the back of the property at all and didn't see anyone in the neighbouring villas whilst we were there either. Emerald Island Resort itself was also gated and a very well maintained and smart resort. Didn't use any of the communal facilties at any point though as we were always out and about at the parks.

Family Stay for Volleyball Tournament

The house was perfect for our three families traveling to Orlando for volleyball Nationals. The resort was well managed. The house was clean. Kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals at the house.

Fantastic Family Vacations: Great place, good deal…

The property is very comfortable to accommodate a big group. The complex is nice and clean. The location is convenient and close to different Orlando park and the airport. The communication and response of the host was great. My family and I had a great time and would come back in the future for sure…

Great House

We stayed for a week with a family of 10. Plenty of room for everyone! Great pool and a really convenient location to stores, restaurants, and Disney. Would definitely recommend renting this home! Good communication with owner as well.

Good Vacation Location

Overall, this property is much nicer than the pictures show. The layout was comfortable and allowed us to have our own space but yet feel together. It's time for the furniture to be updated for sure but overall it was fine. The cleaning could have been better as we found things stuck in the couch and the dishes had food spots.Alex was very attentive and communicated whenever we had questions. The actual resort amenities are an added bonus but we spent most of our time in our private pool.

Bathroom locks for the shared bathrooms were not locking doors. No response from owner after reporting this. This was the case for 2 bathrooms. Property looks good and security wise good for family

We never received any call or message about any locks not locking from this guest. The pocket doors in the jack and jill bathrooms need to be really close to the door jamb otherwise they won’t lock. I could have explained that to the guest if he had called me. We checked all locks and they all work fine. Communication with this guest was never good. I emailed access details to the guest and later I asked if he got it, never received a reply. Then the guest messaged asking what the access code was and asked about the wifi password . I then asked did you check your email because all the information was there. Also never received answer to my question if they wanted to order pool heating. Thanks for the 3 stars.

I really enjoyed our stay. It was 2 years in the making but I’m so glad that Alex could work with us on our dates. The house gave us all a great impression it had so many room and the best thing was every room either had their own bathroom or shared a bathroom. We didn’t get to enjoy the house as much but we were happy the commute to our activities was about 30-40 minutes away. And the house is only 10 mins. away from Walmart, gift shops, restaurants. We look forward to booking again sometime in the future.

The home was beautiful and comfortable. The rooms were a lot smaller than expected and the seating in the dinning room and outside patio were not accurate but sufficient. There is not a lot of items available to use in the kitchen to bake with several pots and pans available to cook with. Our number one complaint was the washer and dryer. With a group of 15 we pack very light so we have room to all travel together and plan to wash and dry clothes and pool towels regularly. The washer leaked after the first load and the dryer took multiple runs to dry. We notified the owner twice and was told there was no issue when they used it and to do small laods. We washed 2 pool towels and wash rag and it leaked and another load washed 2 pairs of shorts, 2 shirts and a pair of underwear all small sizes and it leaked. The dryer again took several runs to dry the clothes. I notified the owner a third time and he finally came to look at it and said he was aware of the washer leaking and we needed to do smaller laods and dry the door and drawer where detergent loads. He never addressed the issue with the dryer. We simply didn't have time tondo smaller loads so we ended up going to the laundromat to wash and had to hang our clothes and towels to dry. Upon checkout we were accused of taking ALL the towels in the home because they weren't in bedrooms. All towels used were washed dryer folded and put back in the linen closets where they were found. The pool was also never cleaned!

Thank you for the exhaustive report. We had a washer checked by a professional appliance service and the tech concluded that the soap dispenser has to be closed securely otherwise the stream of water that flashes the soap out to the tray may overflow and spill out. The tech also advised not to overload the washer. He also checked the dryer and could not find any faults. I informed the guest about that. We also checked the appliance and no leak whatsoever was found with securely closed dispenser door. POOL IS SERVICED REGULARELY ONCE PER WEEK AND GUESTS RECEIVED CLEAN AND SPARLING POOL HOWEWER WHEN THEY LEFT IT WAS GREEN. POOL TURNS GREEN VERY QUICKLY WHEN PEOPLE USE IT AS A BATHROOM!!!GUEST NEVER COMPLAINED TO US DURING HER STAY ABOUT THE POOL. WE ALSO FOUND 2 BATHROOMS IN A FILTHY STATE AS IT APEARD SOMEONE HAD TROUBLE MAKING IT TO THE TOILET AND INSTEAD URINATED ON THE FLOOR. WE HAD TO PAY A SUBSTENTIAL EXTRA TO THE CLEANERS TO CLEAN AND SANITIZE THIS HORRIBLE MESS. Also a brand-new set of towels for the entire house was missing after these guests checked out. Guest when asked took offence. I personally check the house before and after each booking and I know what I have put in the house.

Private and family friendly

House worked out amazingly for our large family. Host was timely with communication and the house was clean and the pool was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here and if we go back to Florida, we'd stay there again!

Stayed here with our extended family for a Disney vacation and the location cannot be beat. Very short drives to all parks, especially Animal Kingdom.
