Since the home is located in a residential
family neighborhood with other homes in close proximity, NO LOUD MUSIC or yelling/screaming outside during evening hours. Outdoor activities must be done by 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 10 pm Friday and Saturday nights. We appreciate your understanding.

***San Diego has a noise ordinance 10pm-7am in residential zones. (FYI--neighbors have been known to enforce)***

- Please ask hosts if you need extra fans, also you can get a nice cross breeze with windows open.

- City trash and recycle days are on Wednesday. We politely ask guests to take out the bins to the street and/or bring them in. Neighbors complain if bins are left on street for days and we want to abide by our good neighbor policy.

Great Stay

Duke and Crystal were the best hosts! Communication was very good, they communicated with our group before and after the trip. The house was perfect and the hospitality from the hosts was incredible. My friends and I enjoyed our stay. Would book again!

Perfect!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything else we needed to be comfortable was provided. The backyard, especially the pool and jacuzzi, was a huge plus. Great location. Crystal was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend.

A Truly Amazing Experience

We absolutely loved our stay in this home. We had seen pictures but it did no justice to the actual beauty of the place. From the large swimming pool with the basketball hoop to the mini fire pit, it was enjoyable for both the adults and the children. The place was also newly renovated and could easily accommodate groups of 10+. The location was also right in the middle of the city so each tourist destination was only a 10-15 min drive away. Overall, our group loved the stay here and we hope to come back if we find ourselves back in San Diego.

The entire house was amazing and the house manager, Jean, was so wonderful and accommodating!! She reached out and helped us so much to make our stay so personal and welcoming! The house was perfect for our group of 10. The pool was so perfect and beautiful and had LOTS of floaties and pool items. It was definitely worth it to heat the jacuzzi as we were in it multiple times a day and it was very spacious to where we had 6-8 people in it at a time. It was so nice to have a shopping center that was right next to the house that had lots of stores and food places. To get to the more popular parts of the city/beaches, it was about a 15 min drive which wasn’t bad at all. The whole stay was the perfect getaway and the best time with family.

It was a beautiful cute home.

Overall, it was a beautiful cute home for our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and the outdoor space. It was perfect for our cozy getaway with friends. I was a little shocked at the additional price to turn on the Jacuzzi and pool. We did pay for and utilize them one night in order to make the most of our fun-filled days. The owner was very prompt with responding to messages. Unfortunately, our rental car was stolen from the driveway of the house. It is still missing to this day. It's not the fault of the VRBO, but it was shocking for us because we're not familiar with the location. Overall the house was very clean and it was beautiful.

I completely understand your thoughts on the additional cost for heating the pool and Jacuzzi. While I’d love to provide it free of charge, the reality is that gas costs in San Diego are quite high, and it takes around 8 hours to fully heat the pool. Because of this, we do charge separately for heating, which is also noted in our VRBO listing in California. This is a common practice among vacation rentals in the area. We were just as shocked and concerned as you were, as this was the first time anything like this has happened at our home. As soon as we heard from you, we immediately checked our security cameras and extended your stay free of charge to ensure you had some extra time to feel more at ease before checking out. I hope that gesture provided some comfort during a stressful situation. This neighborhood is known for being family-friendly and safe, and after speaking with our long-time neighbors, they also expressed that they have never experienced anything like this. That being said, we take safety very seriously, and we have since installed an additional security camera in the driveway to further enhance security for our guests. Amazing Home to Stay At and Unwind

I recently had the privilege of staying at Crystal’s property, and I can't express just how exceptional the experience was. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were enveloped in an ambiance of warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The house itself was a true masterpiece, featuring modern amenities and an exquisite interior design that elevated our stay. The spacious living areas and a well-equipped kitchen allowed us to unwind and create wonderful memories together. The bedrooms were cozy, ensuring we had restful nights throughout our stay. The backyard was a haven of tranquility, complete with a splendid pool that is very deep! Countless hours were spent basking by the pool, savoring the picture-perfect weather, and having ping pong tournaments in our group. What truly made this experience exceptional was the remarkable hospitality extended by Crystal who laid out detailed instructions and was very friendly! I highly recommend this property for your next vacation!
