North Shore 966, aka "Sail Away", is located on the North side of the prestigious Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort. Destin beaches are known for their crystal white sand and turquoise gulf waters of the Emerald Coast. This property is centrally located 2 miles away from The Village of Baytowne Wharf and 1.5 miles away from the beach access on the South side of the resort. Catch the free tram service to take you anywhere you want to go in the resort!

Enjoy this peaceful part of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the Destin city-life while still being close to attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The 2,000 sq ft private townhome has three bedrooms, three bathrooms which sleeps up to 6 guests. Kick back and relax while enjoying the sparkling blues of the bay at your doorstep. Once inside, you will enjoy the spacious, bayfront living room with a flat screen TV and vaulted ceilings. A dining room table seats 4 and there is also a large island with extra seating! The completely renovated kitchen offers stainless-steel appliances and a fully-stocked kitchen which is perfect to prepare a home-cooked meal. Throw in some laundry in your full-size washer and dryer.

Your downstairs master bedroom hosts a queen bed, perfect for lying in while watching TV. The attached bathroom has a single vanity, toilet, and walk-in shower. Upstairs you will find another master bedroom with its own private balcony overlooking the bay. The king size bed and flat screen TV are ideal for mornings spent indoors. Private access is available to the master bath with a double vanity space, toilet, and walk-in shower. Also upstairs, you will find your guest bedroom with 2 twin beds and their own TV. This bedroom also has its own bathroom!

This property also comes with a GOLF CART!!

Great Location & condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrive the condo was just as like the pictures. It was clean & all amenities you’d want. The instructions on the wall said the golf cart was outside to the right but it was not. When I text management, they said it was probably in garage B. So, sure enough when we opened the garage, it was being charged. I believe that if that were in instructions on wall, it would be helpful. We loved being right on the bay. It was beautiful at night. Loved sitting on the outside lanai outside the master bedroom.

Only one problem

When I rented the place, one of the main reasons for choosing the property was the golf cart. I was told the day I was to check in, that the golf cart was not available due to needing repairs. I was also told that we would be reimbursed after the trip for no golf cart. I came home on the 17th, and still no money has been added back to my account. I can’t find an email about this issue either.

A little bit of heaven

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is located in a quiet area which was perfect for us. The view on the bay is serene and the sunsets were fantastic. As usual, Gibson was responsive to our issues. Gibson is the best. I would recommend some spices be left at the rental as there wasn’t even any salt or pepper. Also, bring toilet tissue as one roll per bathroom won’t make it a week. One other suggestion is the owners add a window covering on the dining area west facing window. The sun is blinding before sunset if you’re at the dining table. We consider this rental to be one of our favorites in Sandestin Resort. It definitely deserves a five star rating!

Vacay by the bay

This property was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the bay view, the golf cart, beach chairs, and beach toys. We spent several nights playing family games at the kitchen table while enjoying the incredible view. The location was perfect, 5 min golf cart ride to The Boulevard and Baytowne Wharf. The location was quiet and relaxing. I do think they could have supplied some spices for cooking, extra trash bags, and extra dishwasher tabs. However, when reaching out via email for more trash bags, they responded quickly and brought some over later that day. It also wasn't very clear what pools we had access to, but once I reached out via email they responded quickly. Overall, it was a great stay and we'd highly recommend this property to friends and family.

Great place

We come to Florida every year and this was by far the best place we have stayed. The home itself was stocked with everything and absolutely beautiful. The view of the bay out of the windows was breathtaking and the bay was full of fish. The golf cart was great to get around the property in. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come again!

Exactly as advertised

Our stay was perfect. The townhouse was beautifully decorated and very clean which made our stay so pleasant. The backyard water views were so peaceful. We have made Sandestin a yearly escape place and 966 Northshore has ranked to the top as a place to stay. The golf cart was one of the nicest one that we have had. The daily xplorie activities were a plus as well.
