Josie's Getaway - Pet Friendly -Mini-Vacations and Month to Monthly Available

Mini-Vacations and Monthly Rental Available. Amenities: New Queen Mattress, Recushioned sofa and new deck furniture for 2025 season Central A/C, Dishwasher, Microwave, New full-size W/D, 2 TVs, Smart TV and Roku, Wi-Fi, Charcoal Grill, Screened Porch, Outside Shower.Linens and towels provided. 2 dog maximum.

Perfect pet friendly beach getaway located right off Ridge Rd., close to restaurants and shopping. This quaint cottage offers all the amenities, with bright, open rooms, perfect for a comfortable vacation. This house has a large, screened porch, outside shower and fire pit on the patio. Been working hard over the cold months to make Josie's Getaway as perfect as ever. We listen to your comments and are always looking to improve our cottage. For 2025 we have New Queen Mattress, Recushioned sofa and new deck furniture. Linens and towels provided.

Pet friendly home $75. (per pet) will be added to your reservation. 2 dog maximum. only. 2 night minimum in off Season.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

It’s an integral part of our Chincoteague vacation. We had a small issue with one of the bathrooms this year, and Harbour Rentals took care of it immediately. We were welcomed with a very thoughtful gift basket, and all the information you could want or need to enjoy your stay. From the comfortable furniture to the relaxing fire pit, Josie’s feels like home!

Cozy and comfortable

Very neat and clean and lovely decor! Centrally located to everything so that we could go back and forth. Found an additional road to walk the dogs today. Quiet neighborhood and we were able to take advantage of many of the activities even though it is still early in the season.

Very cute cottage with a lovely screened porch a hanging daybed. We have stayed on this street before and really like the quiet of the neighborhood. We had a couple concerns about the home that others may or may not find issue with. The toilets are low and small and if you have old knees, like us, hard to get up from. My husband liked the queen bed but it was much too firm for me. The wifi was pretty bad, hit or miss for our entire stay. Impossible to watch an entire movie.

Josie’s was very clean and beautifully appointed with a very appropriate beach and pony theme! It worked out well for 3 adults and 2 dogs. There were several neighborhood cats that kept the dogs entertained along with an occasional deer and squirrel! Next time I would reserve directly through Harbor Rentals and save a little $$!

Just ok

The house was fine, clean and well cared for, but the location was pretty bad if you have a dog to walk. We had to drive to a trail twice a day because there was no place to walk her near or around this house.

The neighborhood was quiet, we met some nice folks while walking, the location was convenient, and we'll definitely stay here again if we return!

The only issue we had was that the outdoor shower may need looked at since the flow was very slow, however, that definitely would not deter me from booking again. The washer and dryer were great to have to be able to wash clothes and towels after the beach.

Perfect Quiet Retreat

It was a perfect quiet retreat.All one level made it easier for aging parents to get in and out of the house. Close to everything, yet far enough away from the busy streets. The only negative for us was the blinds in the bathrooms did not offer much privacy.There was about an in gap on both sides that people on the outside could see in. We went out a bought plastic table cloths to put over windows to make it a more private. We also placed table cloths over the bedroom windows for added privacy. Other than that, we were very happy and would rent this place again. We enjoyed eating out meals out on the screened in porch. Thank you for the use of such a lovely rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Josie's Getaway is one of the nicest places we have rented. It's well furnished and really nicely decorated. We were there in the offseason, but the weather was mild and perfect for enjoying the screened porch. Our family loved the swing on the porch. The location was pretty quiet but still an easy bike ride to the beach. The owner left us an incredibly thoughtful care package featuring items from local businesses - which we then went to check out. We had a great week and would go back in a heart beat.
