Mini-Vacations and Monthly Rental Available. Amenities: New Queen Mattress, Recushioned sofa and new deck furniture for 2025 season Central A/C, Dishwasher, Microwave, New full-size W/D, 2 TVs, Smart TV and Roku, Wi-Fi, Charcoal Grill, Screened Porch, Outside Shower. 2 dog maximum.

Josie's Getaway also offers mini-vaca's in the off season. 2 Night Minimum.

Perfect pet friendly beach getaway located right off Ridge Rd., close to restaurants and shopping. This quaint cottage offers all the amenities, with bright, open rooms, perfect for a comfortable vacation. This house has a large, screened porch, outside shower and fire pit on the patio. Been working hard over the cold months to make Josie's Getaway as perfect as ever. We listen to your comments and are always looking to improve our cottage. For 2025 we have New Queen Mattress, Recushioned sofa and new deck furniture.

Pet friendly home $75. (per pet) will be added to your reservation. 2 dog maximum. only. 2 night minimum in off Season.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid. If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Perfect Quiet Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a lovey stay at Josie's Getaway. It was a perfect quiet retreat.All one level made it easier for aging parents to get in and out of the house. Close to everything, yet far enough away from the busy streets. The only negative for us was the blinds in the bathrooms did not offer much privacy.There was about an in gap on both sides that people on the outside could see in. We went out a bought plastic table cloths to put over windows to make it a more private. We also placed table cloths over the bedroom windows for added privacy. Other than that, we were very happy and would rent this place again. We enjoyed eating out meals out on the screened in porch. Thank you for the use of such a lovely rental.

Just what we needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My girlfriend and I stayed at Josie’s place for a week. We would have moved in if it wasn’t already booked. The beach theme was restful and relaxing. It was equipped better than my home. The artwork was fantastic. The house looks small from the outside but was really quite roomy inside.The neighborhood was great and quiet but easily assessable to shops, restaurants and the beach.We highly recommend the house and Harbour Rentals for your visit here.Deen@ C.

It was clean and welcoming. The owners , Jaye and Jodi, make you feel like family. Josie’s Getaway definitely feels like home! From the well stocked kitchen to the little free library, Josie’s is so stress free. The porch with swing is so charming and our family loves the fire pit. Beach themed with pony books and pictures, this house is a gem! Truly one of the best places to stay on the island! Our family loves and recommends Josie’s Getaway- 100%!

Reviewer Comments: We love the location and the rental is very nice and fully stocked with everything we need.The only complaints we are he living room furniture. The sofas are very uncomfortable and worn out it’s difficult to sit on them especially if you have back and knee problems. And the TV channels are not good at all. We couldn’t even get local news!

Rest and relaxation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVED staying at Josie’s for the week! Never turned on the tv since there is so much to do! And all the details they put into their guests experience from having indoor and outdoor games, beach chairs, the adored porch bed which is great for afternoon naps, and the welcome bag! We LOVE Chincoteague and have for many years, this house will be one we stay in again for sure! The only suggestion is to upgrade the queen mattress. Aside from that everything was wonderful and felt like home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beachy bungalow is perfect. We have stayed in this vacation home year after year. Sometime staying multiple weeks a year. It’s definitely our favorite. It’s clean and it’s pet friendly. The homeowner really appreciates the guests. I appreciate that the house is well equipped with everything we need to be comfortable for the week. Linens and towels are provided, even beach towels. This homeowner really tries to think of all the needs from a renters point of view. On an island where there are so many places to stay, this one is such a great option. We call this home our home away from home. We treat it like it’s our home and we even know some of the full time neighbors now. It’s a 10 out of 10 for our family.
