Bring your kayaks and kids! This is a bright tastefully decorated rancher! Nice crabbing dock for great sunrises. Garage has been converted into a separate living space with a TV and couch, perfect for the teenagers. Located in a quiet neighborhood and in walking distance of restaurants and attractions. All bedrooms on the same level. Gas fire pit. NOW HAS INTERNET AND SMART TV.

NO LINENS AND TOWELS PROVIDED SO BRING YOUR OWN OR CALL US TO RENT THEM.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund  of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice stay overall. Bikes and kayaks were very useful. Beds are comfortable. No ice cube trays. Induction stove was very difficult to use (even though we have induction at home). Front and back decks have some maintenance issues.

Location was okay. It was my first time to Chincoteague and my last. The house was dirty, ac didn’t work good, refrigerator took 4 days to get cold(we had to use coolers to keep drinks and food cold. The doors don’t shut properly and the key to the front door was a fight every time. I used the linen service….they left the linens in a bag telling us they were clean and when I went to make the beds one of the “clean linens” had blood on it and the other bed I went to make had dirty sheets and pillowcases already on it. Obviously housekeeping doesn’t check the beds or wash comforter’s or they would’ve noticed the dirty bed. There was working materials in the driveway so parking wasn’t easy. The dock to fish or go out by the water wasn’t there like in the pics. I would not recommend renting this house.

There is everything you could imagine in there from kitchen supplies, to beach supplies, and all the toys 3 small kids could imagine!! The house didn’t have any internet or many cable channels to choose from but that was actually nice to get away from electronics for the week, just family time. Will definitely stay again!!

The only thing mussing was wifi and the induction stove was difficult for us to figure out. We aren’t very “techy” but finally got it. Never did figure out the tv but had so many outdoor adventures that we didnt miss it much.Lovely town and the tour guides were great!

Because it’s close to the water, there was more mosquitoes then normal so outside playing was not tolerable! I had 4 teens with me and they were excited about the “teen” room which was a disappointment! The TV did not work and the s/s was not usable due to uncleanliness beyond my preference!! There is not much room to put your own stuff because they have it well stocked!

However, i expected more of a view of the creek, which you can really only see from the upper deck. The path to the water to put in a kayak is muddy and submerged so difficult to put the boat in. There was no wifi, which I was told in advance so I knew. However, I thought the hotspots from each of my family members would work but only mine did so there were a lot of data charges racked up.

Movies and DVD's did help. The floors were very dirty, had to wipe the kids feet off every night before bed. Did have an employee come out and clean the floors but it didn't seem to make a difference. Overall, house was nice.

There was dirt everywhere, clothes under the beds and in drawers, personal items throughout. Very cluttered. The walkway to the water was unsafe. None of the doors would shut properly.
