A Week of Rest

Our family had a reservation made a year in advance at a place down the coast from Galveston. Unfortunately, Hurricane Beryl damaged the house a week before our scheduled trip making the house unavailable. We found Home Sweet Pineapple at the last minute, and it was such a wonderful blessing for our family. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully inviting. It was perfect for all of us who needed some extended family time and much needed rest. The attention to the smallest detail was amazing! We especially enjoyed the table that we could all gather around to share meals and play games. We are so grateful that this property was available.

Our recent stay at the beach rental house was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. Great for families!

We recently stayed at this fantastic beach house with our family, along with two other families, all with young children, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was spacious, clean, and exceptionally well-stocked, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The layout was perfect for families, with plenty of room for the kids to play and adults to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the thoughtful touches, like baby equipment and toys, were a huge plus. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach, which was beautiful and not crowded. We enjoyed spending our days playing in the sand and surf, and the evenings were perfect for family dinners. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions for everything we needed to know. It was clear they put a lot of effort into making this a welcoming and well-appointed home. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway. We hope to return soon!

Wonderful weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Home Sweet Pineapple and hope to stay again in the future! The location is great with just a short walk to the beach. The house is clean and well-decorated. Plenty of space for our large group. We loved the long dining table that allowed us all to eat together!

When can we come back??? An absolute dream!

Y'all....I've stayed in quite a few VRBOs. Once we had kids we decided VRBOs fit our style more than hotels with young kids. I can honestly say this is the best home I've ever stayed in hands down. We had a large group, 14 of us. Not once did we feel on top of each other or cramped. The home is beautiful. The attention to detail. The organization absolutely warmed my tiny type A accountant heart. The thoughtfulness. The furniture/design. We had ages ranging from 3 years old to 17 year olds to 60 year olds and everywhere in between. Everyone had a lovely time. The pantry has all kinds of ingredients you might need; they operate on an honor system (use some stuff/leave some stuff). They had roll away beds, pack n' plays, high chair, baby gate, extra sheets/pillows/blankets, beach toys, jogging stroller, wagon, games, life jackets, boogie boards...I'm telling you...this house checked all the boxes and then some. We had a question or two during our trip and the hosts were quick to respond and a joy to work with. Incredibly accommodating. My kids were begging to stay one or two more nights. None of us wanted to head back to reality. It was such a beautiful time and the beach in April is so low key and relaxing. Seriously can't recommend this home enough. That's what it felt like; the hosts opened their home to us. Not a house, a true home. Can't wait to get back. Don't think twice; book it! Thank you Home Sweet Pineapple!

Just read all the other reviews and do yourself a favor and book this house. You get what you pay for. The decor is high end and the house is well equipped with everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. The beach walkover is on the same row about 50 yards to the sand. We would book this house over and over!

Pineapple paradise

Spent a short weekend in this wonderful home, and everyone was sad to leave. Ages of our group ranged from 7-79, and all loved how comfortable we felt. We have stayed in several homes in Beachside and Galveston before, and this house is by far the most well stocked. From the awesome kitchen to the towels and the beach equipment, the hosts have thought of everything and skimped on nothing. We will definitely plan to return. Book it, you will not be disappointed.

Home Sweet Pineapple is a beautiful and cozy home fully equipped with all of your household and beach needs. Everything inside and outside are clearly labeled and organized for easy access. Noise machines in the bedrooms was an added plus. Access to the beautiful Galveston beach is an easy quick walk as well. Our family will return for sure! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Family Vacation

This property, owners and property manager were all amazing and exceeded all of our expectations!! The pictures don’t do it justice! Our family of 12 spent a week here during the heat wave. We like to cook and eat in and the kitchen had everything we needed, even an instant read thermometer. Plus everything you might need for the beach. We left some crab nets for the next guests as our grandkids loved crabbing. So clean and tidy. Responsive to our questions. Would HIGHLY recommend this beautiful home!!

Terrible weather but stay was perfect

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated and organized home . There was nothing not thought of... Sound machines in every room, plenty of storage, space and seating. We loved that everyone could be in the family room together and enjoy eachother while it was raining outside.

Amazing Vacation Home

We have booked many homes through VRBO, and this is one of the most beautiful and well-equipped homes in which we have stayed. It is spacious, very clean, and expertly decorated. We like to cook most of our meals and the kitchen is fabulous! It had everything we needed and more. Tim and Anna were extraordinarily gracious and were on top of all communication. The location is so close to the beach. We stayed here during Christmas weekend and enjoyed walking on the beach even though it was cold. Staying here during warm weather would be even more amazing. I highly recommend this house!

The Best

We were traveling with a group of 7 adults and 2 teens. Although the house was more expensive than others in the area, it was worth every penny. The bedrooms were fantastic. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and bath products. The kitchen was amazing. It had just about every item we needed for our cooking. The Christmas decorations were an added bonus. Most important, the house was well maintained and very clean. The host was incredibly responsive as was the property manager. I would definitely return and would recommend it to others. 5+ stars!

Home Away From Home

There isn't enough space to review this amazing property. Anna and Tim thought of everything. The house really feels like a home, not just a rental property. The kitchen is stocked as well as some staples and then some in the pantry. Couches are comfortable and a great place to hang out at the end of a day in the sun. I can't even say enough about the beds and luxury linens and towels. Loved having two refrigerators as the house was full so we used one for food and one for drinks and overflow. Finally, the hosts even provide beach chairs and toys as well as beach towels. You will not want for anything! We have been staying in Galveston for over 15 years and this is the best property we have rented. I'm sure this house will be full year round, so don't hesitate to book it as soon as you know your dates. Thank you Anna and Tim!

This beach house is stunning-- large and airy, beautifully decorated, super comfortable, and steps from the beach. We had 3 generations together for a long weekend and we couldn't have had a better place to stay. Amazing property that is brand new with every amenity and extra you can think of. The space was beautifully decorated for the perfect beach house vibe. We loved the high quality thought put in each corner of the home, including the luxurious towels and linens, comfortable couches and chairs, and the plethora of beach accessories. 10/10 recommend that you book this property for your next vacation to Galveston Island!

Perfect family house with all the amenities

Brand-new build with the perfect beachy theme throughout. Plenty of kitchen tools, grilling items, and toiletries left throughout to keep us comfortable! Layout perfect for family dinners/movie night with lots of space for everyone to plug in by themselves if some distance is needed instead 😅. Steps to the beach—and I could have left all my beach toys/umbrella at home as they were supplied here. Beach towels also provided!! For families using the bunk room—this is my first time in a long history of beach rentals where I allowed the kids to use the top bunk. Sturdy construction with enough height on the rails that I was not worried about anyone falling. Beach itself is better experience than I expected to find this side of the Gulf. No tar and not too much seaweed or litter. No sea lice or jellies in the water. Away from the main drag so we had plenty of room to set up and play. Only drawback was that the flag system isn’t used this far from town, so you have to be careful to judge rough water. We had a great weekend all in all!

Amazing beach property won’t disappoint!

This amazing house was steps from the beach. Fully equipped with no detail being left undone, this house provided a comfortable home away from home for a large group and the location was fantastic. From the beautifully decorated furnishings and interior design, to the small touches to create a truly special experience (puzzles, games, books, excellent Wi-Fi and tv), there is no better beach property in Galveston. Our passion for this historic island is something we want to share with family and friends. This home provides an experience is we offer is centered on comfort and a worry free stay. We furnished this home with every amenity possible in hopes of our guests to have a worry free stay.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Beach Side Village is a great neighborhood because of the family friendly environment and its safety. BSV visitors have the ability to walk to the beach without worrying about the traffic or unsafe aspects of walking across a busy road. The sand is graded daily in the summer and the beach does not allow cars to drive. All of this creates close to a private beach and allows plenty of room for families and friends to relax.

We buy new beach toys and chairs every year before the summer. Home Sweet Pineapple isn't a short term rental. It is our home that we share with others. We cut no expense to furnish the house in a way that we hope makes guests feel valued.
