Beautiful 1,600 sq ft mid-century influenced retreat has it all whether you are here for a Lake City adventure or a quiet mountain vacation! (If bringing an off road vehicle and trailers, please read paragraph at the end of description).The home is in a tranquil area ideally located a few blocks above the Country Store Grocery. We are situated just below the Crystal Larsen trailhead and a short distance from the scenic Lake City walking trails and river. You can walk everywhere, yet you are nestled above town for stunning views. Fire pit, grill, deck off main bedroom and larger deck off main room.
The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and full size new washer/dryer. The spacious and beautifully decorated living room and dining room has stunning mountain views with large windows which lead out to an expansive deck which flows perfectly for entertaining. The large new sectional and dining table offers plenty of seating for any type of gathering. The open-floor-plan kitchen is very large and ample for multiple cooks and equipped with every modern convenience and cooking supplies you will need. Plenty of prep space and surface area for appetizers and buffet style meals. A bounty of serving trays, dishes, silverware and glassware provided.
The second floor has two bedrooms and an extra large double vanity bathroom. The front bedroom has a modern flare and offers a king sized bed, a sitting area, French doors off sweet balcony with incredible views of Red Mountain. Enjoy morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail in this magical spot with breathtaking views! The second bedroom has a mountain vibe with both a queen bed and bunk beds and plenty of space for four guests. Both bedrooms offer complete privacy with no open loft areas along with generous amounts of closet space. Big closets.
The 550 sq ft front deck offers plenty of seating and a gas grill. Enjoy a great view for nighttime star gazing! End your day around the fire pit located just off the kitchen in the backyard area. This shaded sitting area is a perfect gathering spot to plan the next dayâs adventures! Winter snowball fights too!
Whether you are a fisherman, hiker, OHV enthusiast or just a lover of majestic beauty, this house offers everything you need for a memorable vacation! We are located in an area that is OHV accessible to both County Rd 20 and County Rd 30. In the Winter ICE CLIMBING, SNOWSHOEING, SNOWMOBILING, ICE FISHING, SKIING, AMAZING STARS AT NIGHT! COZY PELLET STOVE! Wonderful house year round!
**OFF ROAD VEHICLE AND TRAILER PARKING INFORMATION:
We can accommodate 4 total vehicles (including cars) and 1 trailer. Additional parking is available 1/2 mile above the house at the Crystal/Larsen trailhead, in town at a secured lot or at the OHV staging areas on both County Rd. 20 and 30. We cannot allow double parking, parking in yard or parking other than in designated parking next to house. Additional information can be provided.
