Not what is expected.

The house needs a thorough deep cleaning. And de-cluttering. The vast supply of groceries in the fridge- it limited what we could use for our own items. If you don’t want to buy your own food, there is plenty on stock here. The walls and all the switches all need a good scrub. There were several dried buggers on multiple walls. A gross living room area. Uncomfortable couch and beds. The access is problematic- only being able to use the back door didn’t fit well with us. The sticky notes all over the house- tacky. Tons of leftover clothes and shoes in the closets. The yard- not what is in the pictures. We rented the place for a backyard for our dogs. The owner worked with us and made a make-shift potty area. It still wasn’t what we expected. But made due. This place has potential, but really needs better cleaning.

Perfect place to crash

We had a no-kids night out for my 33rd birthday over the weekend. No one could have predicted the rain and flooding. John was so communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. Got a pump for the flooded driveway and all we had to do was push a button and clear out the water. The place is adorable, clean, exactly what we needed after a nice dinner and drinks in midtown. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

easy to get to and did the job

We were in Sacramento for an event and needed a place to stay. All the hotels were booked and with 3 little kids we figured a VRBO was a good idea. This place is easy to get to off the freeway and not far from downtown where our event was. There were certainly some odd things about the property, but we were comfortable and the beds were great. The host is a super nice guy and we are grateful that he shared his property with us.

I'm a Family man, in my younger years I was a globe trotting International traveler, obsessed with Asia and Learning Mandarin and Martial Arts. Eventually I settled down, got married and Had a kid. I now devote my time perfecting my craft which is giving others great experiences when they stay at my old house on 14th Ave.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We had a lot of great years in this house, when it was time to upgrade and move, I didn't want to sell it, so we turned it into a Vacation Rental for all types of people, from Traveling nurses and doctors, to Families, to business people with dogs. This location is very convenient, there is everything you need right next door, there is food, and grocery right there, even an auto repair shop and tire shop on the same block. 4 blocks north is Tahoe park, lots of stuff for kids to play on, and a Public Swimming pool managed by YMCA during summer months. $4 per day. If you want to see Sacramento Attractions, we recommend Old Sacramento first, and then other museums Like State Capital, so many other historical fun stuff. There is even River access in multiple locations, ask for details.

Plenty of Room to park cars. Digital Key pad to unlock front door, you can request your own code at the time of booking 4 digits or more. New for 2022, 6 Water guns located on top of the Outside patio Freezer. and Free Ice cream and popsicles and other food provided.
