Located ½ mile from Rocky Mountain National Park, this charming updated cabin is ideal for a mountain getaway and a wonderful escape from everyday life. This home features top-notch amenities to help you enjoy your stay in Estes Park. Entering into the dining room, this area is soaked in sunshine and features great views of the surrounding mountains, trees, and rock outcroppings. There is a sliding door to let in the cool mountain air or to access the huge deck that spans 3 sides of the home.
Next to the dining room is the remodeled kitchen that features hickory cabinets, quartz solid-surface countertops, and all stainless steel appliances (new glass top stove and microwave, French door refrigerator with bottom freezer and filtered water, and dishwasher). The kitchen is well-equipped to make wonderful meals and memories. The inviting living room has a sliding door to the deck and a wall of windows to bathe the room in sunlight, highlighting the impressive floor-to-ceiling moss rock wood-burning fireplace. The original wood floors add to the comfortable ambience of the space. The furnishings are top of the line, and with a large sofa and three chairs, there is plenty of seating. Additionally, there is a ceiling fan for summer afternoons and a TV and DVD library for your entertainment.
On the main level, there are 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen bed, wood floors, chest of drawers, closet space, tower fan, and two windows to let in light and air. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed, closet space, chest of drawers, tower fan, and two windows. Both bedrooms have nightstands with lamps for reading before bed and convenient USB ports for charging your electronic devices. Outside the bedrooms is a full bathroom with granite countertop, tub/shower combo, and fluffy towels.
Downstairs is an additional level to explore. Complete with tongue-and-groove-lined ceiling, at the bottom of the stairs lies the large primary bedroom suite. The area is private and has a second wood-burning fireplace. The en suite ¾ bathroom boasts a tiled shower, tongue-and-groove walls, and granite countertop. Across the hall from the primary suite is the 4th bedroom, featuring a Twin Day Bed with twin pull out trundle bed, as well. The family/game room is also downstairs and features a queen-sized sofa sleeper tile flooring, tongue-and groove walls and ceiling, fabulous wall sconces, a second TV, and a table and chairs perfect for playing cards, board games, or putting together puzzles.
The spacious laundry room is conveniently located off the second living area. The secluded room features a work surface with ample space for working remotely in a quiet environment. A large window lets in plenty of sunshine and allows for outdoor viewing.
