We really enjoyed this awesome apartment a few blocks from Belmont U! Great rocking chair balcony and other fun period details in this 1930-ish apartment building. Itâs updated and cozy and we imagined all the songs that had been written there over the decades!
Overall I liked staying here. The beds were comfy but the pillows could be better. The kitchen could be a little better stocked. There were only 3 forks and no cutting board. The couch was very comfortable and there was a small table for two to eat at. There were lots of cool old trees with cardinals in them. The toilet is a little close to the tub, might be an issue if you are tall. We walked to Belmont College and Biscuit Love. I enjoyed staying here and felt very safe.
This apartment was perfect for our Nashville stay. Loved that we were able to walk to restaurants, walked through Vanderbilt and Centennial Park. Short Uber ride to broadway. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. I would suggest bringing your own pillow if possible, but otherwise was great!
Very cute, quite and clean 2 bedroom apartment. We walked to the football game at Vandy and it was about a 20 minute walk. The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding. Master bedroom has no closet or dresser so you have to live out of your suitcase. Bathroom is very small but had good storage, a nice shower head and good water pressure. The building has a lot of character and charm and is in a nice area. We would stay here again.
A quaint place and very convenient to Vandy! Small suggestions for improvementâŠno wine bottle opener to be found, pillows on the bed were pretty flat, and there were a couple of dirty dishes in the dish washer upon arrival. Nothing really to complain about - just a few things experienced. Will likely book again!
Loved the location of this apartment. It was a close drive to Broadway but enough of a distance to be in a quiet neighborhood. ALL entries had coded locks. The host was amazing and quick to answer any questions. We were even able to extend out stay due to winter weather and she was VERY accommodating!! I would suggest bringing your own pillows for comfort and if you enjoy playing games, be sure to bring those too but other than that the place was stocked with all of your basic needs. I would definitely stay here again!
We greatly enjoyed our visit (2 nights) to local universities. The location was ideal for that (Vandy, Belmont in particular); the street was cute and quiet. Basically everything is within a 15 minute drive.
The unit was perfectly clean and had all of the necessities. Like other comments, the stairs could be a problem for some but if you roll with it, it's great - lots of character.
Really enjoyed sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and neighbor watching.
Hosts were great and quickly responded to any questions that we had.
If my daughter ends up in college in Nashville, we will definitely be returning.
Quirky and historic apt in the BEST location for Vandy!
This darling, historic, funky apartment had all the luxuries of modern day (Roku TV, W/D, cozy balcony, forced air, and a Keurig) with all the charm of an established, quiet neighborhood just on the edge of the Peabody end of Vandy's campus. Quirky Saltillo tile staircase to tackle on your way to the front door, but you arrive at the cutest apt! Willie Nelson and Kris Kristopherson must have had friends who lived here (they used to live next door). The decor is adorable, but the bathroom is a little rough if you aren't used to vintage buildings. It was a perfect home for me and my mom while my dad spent two weeks in Vandy ICU. Thank you for hosting us! We'll stay here again!
This cute little spot was an absolutely perfect spot for anyone visiting students at Vanderbilt or Belmont. Walkable distance to great restaurants and shopping in that part of the city.
We liked the convenience to downtown, while being in a more quiet neighborhood. The place was comfortable and clean, though the kitchen needed a few things for cooking.
